My husband and I have both been taking ActivatedYou Restorative Probiotics for seven months now. We are in our mid-forties and experience different GI issues. My husband has always struggled with uncomfortable constipation and heartburn, but I usually experience regular bloating and random bowel inflammations. However, the last year or so, I started to experience bouts of constipation, even though I exercise regularly and eat a very healthy diet focusing on whole, fresh veggies, lean proteins, and healthy fats.

Well, I started taking it in the morning on an empty stomach, drinking lots of water around the same time. I have been using this product for approximately one month. I originally decided to try the probiotic due to my constant bloating that I could not correlate to anything I consumed specifically. The claims were that it would help eliminate bloating and restore my gut flora to a healthy mix of microbes. Once the gut is stabilized, then the bloating would stop. I was skeptical but decided to give it a try.

My experience is that within the first week of using it once daily, my bloating was all but eliminated! I use the product on a daily basis and have not experienced bloating only under major stress, and for a much shorter duration if this happened. Often, if I had started to bloat, it would be hours before it might resolve, now if I do have an episode (which is rarer), it will resolve in less than an hour. All in all, I am very impressed by this product and will continue to use it to keep my gut healthy and happy!

I have been using the Advanced Restorative Probiotic for 28 days. I suffered from irregularity, constipation, and extremely uncomfortable bloating. The first day I took it I could tell it was "waking up" my bowels, so much movement, and noise, it sounded like I had an alien trying to escape my belly. LOL. It was like clockwork every day. I used to be so gassy on a daily basis. My stomach would make these awful sounds all day. But I started taking this probiotic, and after maybe day two I could tell the difference. I have tried several different probiotics and they did not give me the results that this one does! I am very happy with this product. When I first started taking Advanced Restorative Probiotic, I immediately improved with my daily bowel movements. However, I am not sure that has continued.

I have IBS with constipation and control with a food combination diet. I was hoping this would help. I do think it has helped calm my colon and lessened my constipation, but I think I need to be on this longer to be sure.

I also think it might actually be helping my body absorb nutrients and digest my food better because I am not feeling so bloated and I have lost a bit of weight.

I've never tried probiotic pills before because I was never sure if the bacteria would live in pill form to work. I decided to try ActivatedYou because I like that there is a good variety of bacteria in them and I totally got sucked into Maggie Q's 45-minute long video about her journey with probiotics. I did my research, and other pills out there seemed to be a similar price anyway.

I've been taking ActivatedYou for almost a month now, and I will say that the best benefit by far has been that it is helping with my acid indigestion/reflux issues! I've been taking Zantac every day for the last two years, and I was on Prevacid every day for four years before that. I went to doctors, got tests done, got an endoscopy, and all they could tell me was to take a PPI or acid reducer like Zantac every day. I don't have ulcers or any kind of hiatal hernia, so there's really nothing they could do to pinpoint the issue of why I get terrible acid every time I eat anything. Even a banana or something really easy to digest.

The first few days of taking ActivatedYou, I noticed right away that after I ate food, I didn't need to take a Zantac or Tums (depending on what I ate (if I eat pizza or anything super rich I will still need an acid reducer/neutralizer).

However, I also had bloating, cramping and diarrhea the first two days of taking them, so I went to every other day for a couple weeks. That made a big difference. The days I took ActivatedYou, I wouldn't have to take a Zantac (as long as I ate pretty healthy, which I usually do anyway) and the days I didn't, I would have to take Zantac still.

Now I'm taking them for 3 or 4 days in a row and then taking a day off. I'm still having bloating issues. I've read that it takes a few months for that to subside and I'm willing to stick it out. I was already having bloating issues before taking ActivatedYou, so I may as well keep taking it to see if it ever helps with that like Maggie has said it would. I'm really hoping it does!

I know there hasn't been a ton of research in the medical field on probiotics, but I wish more doctors would look into them and the relationship our gut has with the rest of our bodies. The American diet is terrible, and even if you start eating super healthy like I started to 10 years ago, it may already be too late for your gut. If putting more probiotics in my gut is going to help it with these digestion and bloating issues works, then I'm all for it! I haven't seen any other bad side effects, short-term, and I'm really hoping there are no bad side effects with long-term use either (like there is for PPIs and probably even with taking acid reducers forever).

I hope ActivatedYou continues to oversee the quality of their products and that I can continue to trust this brand of probiotics for a long time to come. I'm satisfied with my experience and investment in them so far.

I have been taking Advanced Restorative Probiotic for 30 days now. I suffer from extreme bloating where I look five months pregnant most of the time. I also suffer from Gastroparesis. I ordered the three-month supply. I am still dealing with the extreme bloating, but I feel that in time this will be a great purchase.
