I was pretty upset

By Theressa Gonzalez, La Crescenta, CA, Verified Reviewer

When I ordered the trial kit, I specifically instructed them NOT to put me on their automatic offer. I only wanted the trial kit even though I would have to pay a bit more for it.

The kit came and I tried it, the tan is to light and the rich is to dark. With about a week of receiving the trial kit, another box came. It was after costumer service hours so I left a message inquiring about it. That was March 2016. As of today I never received a reply and it is still under my sink unopened. When another box came today, I was able to get through to costumer service. She said I had been placed on the automatic send program.

When I told her I didn't care for it and that's why I didn't want the automatic program, she said that it was too late. She would send a return label for the one today but what they have taken from my account they would not accept the return of the unopened box from march and secondly, not refund the $193.77 they have taken from my account. I was told the intro kit was $59 something if I only wanted it but as you can see, my order was completely disregarded and IT Cosmetics basically stole money from my account.

I don't care what the cost is, if the product is good and the company is honest, you don't have to use underhanded tactics to make money. All you're making are enemies.

Product didn't cover as claimed

By Sharon Lebel, Texas, Verified Reviewer

I ordered the introductory kit. The foundation caked up and the mascara was too thick and the powder looked awful. When I called to cancel, they really try to talk you out of cancelling until it's irritating. They send a return label for auto shipment that shipped exactly 30 days from initial purchase. They refunded $31.97, but they charged me $11.97 for shipping and handling; shipping and handling was $5.99 per invoice, so apparently charged me double. Bare Minerals complexion rescue works way better than this. Do not recommend at all.

This really IS way too good to be true. Beware!

By Sally Vincent, Lancaster, PA, Verified Reviewer

I was given this product from a friend of mine and asked to try it since she really was disappointed. So I did and one day was more than enough.

From the second that I applied it with my finger tips I hated the feeling on my face. Slippery and heavy. None of my fine lines or dark spots were covered and so because the product is advertised as "build able". I applied a second coat. Horrible feeling.

Because I was working a shorter day than normal, I decided to try it for the rest of the day. Big mistake. Within an hour, an oily shine emerged and by four hours all product was gone and it looked as if I was wearing nothing at all.

The infomercial mentions nothing about customers with oily, slightly oily or can be oily skin problems. Trust me, this product is a huge NO!

BEWARE that also you are agreeing to auto-ship purchases in the future as it declares in small writing beneath the plus shipping and handling on the screen.

Also, the infomercial is for the single product of the "Bye-Bye Foundation" YET as it goes on, it becomes obvious that in order to achieve the final look, the entire line must be purchased. Sneaky and just wrong.

Another fraudulent sales scheme

By Nona, Los Angeles, CA, Verified Reviewer

I purchased their TV offer -- 5 products for about $50. Two problems: first, the products were all sample size. Yes, they charge for samples. Seriously. Second, and worse than that, a month later they shipped me some full-size products for about $165, without my ever ordering them. I imagine that it says somewhere on their site that if you order the introductory stuff, they'll send you additional product later. But if so, it's not obvious. It's been a long time since I fell for a marketing scheme like this, but it's still as annoying as ever.

Don't Waste Your Money

By M Flynn, IL, Verified Reviewer

I've suffered from Rosacea for most of my adult life. I've tried everything to cover my redness and flare ups. I use topical and oral medications but it's not a cure. I got caught up in the Bye Bye Foundation infomercial one morning and was convinced it would work by the demonstrations shown. Not so. They claim it's "buildable" but after trying four applications it only slightly covered my redness. By the time I arrived at work it was fading. It made my nose turn very oily all day and required me to use powder to cover the shine. The demonstration of the women sitting in the audience wiping the foundation from their faces and then reapplying without a mirror is bogus. NO WAY. I'll be returning my 5 piece kit. (The only thing in the kit that I liked was the lipstick.) Another expensive rip off. I'll tell you, though, that some good came out of it. I've purchased Maybelline Superstay Better Skin for a fraction of the cost with the best results I've ever had. It DOES cover in one application but is buildable as well. So in the end I am happy.

I wasn't too pleased with the company

By Russ, Verified Reviewer

Make up is mediocre. Once they get your credit card, they continue to charge it every month. I had to cancel the card to get the charges to stop. DO NOT BUY!

Do Not Purchase!

By Marti, Moorpark, CA, Verified Reviewer

I strongly recommend that you do not purchase this product! I reluctantly used a Visa Gift Card to purchase the foundation after watching an infomercial. Right after purchasing I decided to check out the reviews on the product. Backwards planning!

From reading the reviews I learned that I would be sent the product monthly and billed monthly. I had no idea that I wasn't making a one time purchase. I don't think the infomercial made that clear and I certainly wasn't made aware of that when I made the purchase. That in itself I believe is fraudulent. I called immediately to cancel my order.

I was told it would take a few days and then the money would be credited back to my card. During my third call I was told by the clerk that he would put me through to a supervisor because he wasn't sure how gift cards were credited. She told me my card had never been charged which was untrue.

Now it looks like I'm out the money. Please do not buy from Bye Bye Foundation or It Cosmetics through their infomercial.

Customer Service was horrible!

By Donna Colburn, Texas, Verified Reviewer

On 7/11/2016 I called the Customer service number to verify the return address. I was returning the items as I didn't feel this make up was for me. I spoke with Becka, she was rude, tried to talk over me, I asked her to stop talking while I was talking, she said I was over my 60 day return policy (which I was not) and that I would be charged another payment.

I told her that I would stop payment and she told me that I could possibly go into collections. I said even if I return the items my account would still be charged, she said yes. I asked if this was being recorded because she was rude, she said all calls are recorded. I asked if she had a employee number because I was going to write a bad review on the customer service and she lied again saying she doesn't.

I called back and spoke with Trevor (agent #2295649) who was VERY helpful, he said my 60 day deadline was on July 20th and that I still had time to return the items and that my account would not be charged.

He said after I get my tracking number to call back and give it to customer service which I did, I spoke with Ben (agent #2295501), he wrote down my tracking number and EVEN extended my 60 day deadline to be sure the items would arrive on time.

This Becka person should be fired! She does NOT belong in Customer Service. She is a liar! She lied stating I would be charged another payment and the rest of the balance or possibly go into collections, she said I was passed my 60 day deadline. She said she did NOT have a identification number.

Listen to the call because all calls are recorded for training purposes. Well Becka should listen to herself and see how she is NOT professional, she does not need to be in this line of work. Even employees of McDonald's are more polite and courteous than her.

IT Cosmetics, Bye Bye Foundatiuon

By Sam, Verified Reviewer

Not only did it dry my skin out, they tricked me into purchasing a second starter kit for triple the price of the first kit by sneaking an autoship auto charge in the fine print. I'm furious because I don't have that extra money to spend and I only needed one starter kit! I think they're sneaky people. I will not buy from this company again because of their crooked nature.

Don't buy, not even 1 time.

By Jan Gessling, Seymour, Indiana, Verified Reviewer

I chose 1 time only, they chose to put me on their automatic monthly order without my permission. Can't find return phone number or way to discontinue this makeup that I don't need every month. It is too dark. I'm so upset & disappointed with Jamie Kern Lima. I resent how she had scammed me and many other women. I will get this stopped, never again will I order anything from "Guthy-Renker." I will tell all my women friends to not order this makeup.

Poor customer service and horrendous UPS service

By Manashi Lim, North Corolina, Verified Reviewer

I've yet to try the product that I was excited about. I didn't even get to try it, as UPS, as their protocol, and believe me I had similar experiences with them, just placed them over my gate, leaving my dogs to tear the package to bits!

I had specifically told this IT person NOT to send by UPS, but by USPS, and if that was not possible, I'll order it some other time. I was going off for a vacation and didn't want anything delivered while I was gone. The customer service after consulting the Supervisor, told me that it'll come before I left, and With USPS!

So when it didn't arrive, I was disappointed, but ok, as USPS was going to 'hold mail' for me. I came back, and several days later saw an email on 7/19, that IT was delivered. I saw no sign of the package, and my mail I collected from the Post Office did not have them. When I got home, I saw my dog chewing on something, and on closer inspection, it was part of a parcel from UPS. I went over my yard, and scattered all over in bits and pieces we're the items of the IT.

I was livid, as I had paid for it, it wasn't delivered on time, delivered by the UPS that I Did Not want, and this was the result. Of course I called, and it was refunded, canceled, and so forth. Customer service informed me that they'll only use UPS. Really!

I'll never order from Any company using UPS!

I took pictures, of the UPS package right with the USPS packages. I had requested the other 2 companies who also use UPS to send by USPS and it arrived in one piece in hold mail service. So my perception of this company, IT is that it's not customer friendly at all. I'll never attempt again to try this product, a shame I think.

And UPS, it's a DISGRACE!
