The easiest way to sell your car at a fair price

My experience with Carvana was nothing short of incredible. I had lots of questions and my calls were answered within a few minutes by helpful associates who walked me through the entire process. I was a bit anxious about selling my car "online," but they put me at ease. When it was time for my appointment they arrived early, and within 15 minutes I had handed over the keys and received a check for the amount I was quoted. This quote was also ABOVE what dealerships were offering me. This was incredibly convenient, and I intend to use Carvana for all future car sales/purchases. Keep up the great work!

Don't believe negative reviews!

Don’t believe all the negative reviewers. While I'm sure there are instances where things were not great, I'm sure you can apply that to any business. I got delivery of my car, a 2017 Maxima, today on time! The car is amazing. Clean inside, a little coat of dirt on top from transporting, no big deal, I washed and waxed it right away.

EVERY person I dealt with spoke plain English, and they ALL were very kind and helpful. My interest rate was a little higher than I wanted, but I'm happy to pay the price per month for such a great car! I started the process, it took 6 days from start to finish and delivery! Even the delivery driver was awesome!

I told my buddy at work to buy a car and would highly suggest Carvana to anyone...easiest experience ever! And I have bought 10 plus cars in the last 8 years at dealerships and this was by far the best!

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Pretty reliable

My experience with Carvana is pretty good. I was hesitant before I actually ordered my car in its sit. But what turned out later is a surprise. Their correspondence is always in a timely manner, so does the delivery service. I will definitely recommend it.

I bought a car through Carvana several months ago and the process was very easy. It took me about 30 minutes total to pick the car online, upload the necessary documents and fill out the paperwork. The car was delivered to my home for free the next week. The woman who delivered it was great - Katherine Swan. She made the handoff process very easy and pleasant. I did get the car inspected during the 7-day trial period and everything was perfect with it. I’ve seen a lot of negative reviews about the time it takes for the plates to arrive, but mine came within a few weeks so no issue there. I also financed through Carvana, which was extremely easy. The car itself has been great, and I’m very pleased with the price I paid for it. I will definitely be using Carvana again.

Great car trading experience

It could not have been any easier to find a new car, make trade-in, and finance all in same place and time. Although we ended up driving to the Nashville location due to Carvana having many deliveries and booked up, we were compensated for our time and had a full tank of gas in our new car. We absolutely love our new car, most of all, did not have to deal with pushy car salesmen. We will look to Carvana on next car purchase. Recommend highly!

Excellent experience!

I wasn't really looking into getting another vehicle at the moment. But with a recent accident that left me without a vehicle, I had no choice. I looked at local car lots first and everyone was wanting $5k down on their pickups and I wasn't walking away without one. I stumbled across Carvana by accident. I read some reviews and decided to give it a try. I got a 2014 Ram with low mileage.

It looked nice in the photos. It was delivered on 12/27/18 at 1:15 pm. The delivery was quick, I drove around the block and checked out everything on the truck. It was detailed, washed and fueled up. No dents, a few scratches, but hey, it's a used truck. Real nice customer service. I will be using Carvana again in the near future.

I bought a car from a vending machine, y'all!

I was nervous about buying a car from Carvana, but I couldn't find exactly what I wanted anywhere else. I felt good about the return process so I pulled the trigger and bought my car, a Mazda CX 5 grand touring. It had higher mileage than I wanted, but the price was right, and the car looked in and was described as being in great condition. I live chatted with two reps through the process, and they were both friendly and helpful.

I picked it up at the Nashville dealership and the guy at the front desk was so professional and seemed truly happy to see me. The car's appearance inside and out was better than I expected. There were no imperfections that hadn't been noted in the listing. I test drove it and started to love it. Took possession and drove it 35 miles home and it performed fantastically. I've been over it with a fine tooth comb, and my husband has inspected fluids, brakes, tires, etc. and he's happy.

I used a referral I got from a nice stranger in Arizona for $500 off. I recommend Carvana. Just remember, you don't have to accept it if you're not happy, and you have 7 days to change your mind. Take it to a local garage and give them $50 to look it over if you need reassurance. I have never had a dealership tell me to bring a car back I didn't like, so I feel like they are standing behind their sale. I do wish someone would text, email or call to make sure I'm happy, things like that go a long way for customer satisfaction.

In closing, I love my Mazda and enjoyed the whole Carvana experience!

Excellent experience from start to finish

I just bought a 2017 Toyota Camry from Carvana. Every single step of this process was excellent.

The paperwork/financing process was the best car buying experience I've ever gone through. Carvana allowed me to complete applications and provide documentation from the comfort of my own home...WITHOUT a pushy salesman breathing down my neck and trying to cheat me.

My down payment wasn't electronically withdrawn until AFTER I accepted the car. Plus, with Carvana, I had a one week, 400-mile, test drive which gave me the opportunity to really see how this vehicle fits into my life and my family.

The woman who delivered my car texted me early in the day and asked if it would be convenient for me to receive the car early, which it was, and my car was then delivered to me at 2:09 pm instead of 7:00 pm.

My car is EXACTLY as promised and in excellent condition. I immediately brought the car to my mechanic who was very skeptical. When I went back to pick it up, he said he really tried to find something wrong with it, like what's the catch. There's nothing wrong with it. I have four new tires, new brakes, all fluids were full and I even had brand new (in the package) floor mats waiting for me in the trunk. My mechanic also ensured me that the vehicle shows no evidence of any collision damage.

Trust me when I say I'd rather shove hot pokers in my eyeballs than to ever go back to another dealership. I highly recommend Carvana, and I guarantee that NOBODY asked me to write this review.

Why all the negative feedback?

I am not sure why Carvana gets SO much negative feedback. Despite this feedback, I decided to try it and was pleasantly surprised. I can explain why I risked this based on the various complaints that I have read:

Complaint #1: Delayed deliveries. I do understand that if you are in immediate need of a car, a delay can be frustrating. However, this begs the question, if you are in immediate need of a car, why not head over to a nearby dealership?

My Solution to #1: I had a lease that was expiring in 6 weeks, so I gave myself plenty of time in anticipation of any complications.

Result: They did delay the delivery once, but I was mentally prepared and was also at least four weeks from the time this would become an emergency. They not only sent me a little Thank You note for being so patient, along with two very aromatic Carvana candles, but they told me over the phone that they are sending me a check for $200 - $50 for each of the four days my delivery was delayed.

Complaint #2: The car was obviously in an accident and/or had some damage they didn't tell me about, OR the car made a weird noise, OR the car doesn't seem to run right/something isn't working.

My Solution #2: DON'T take delivery of the car IF you notice even a SINGLE THING that may turn out to be a deal breaker! In addition, there is a Carfax available on Carvana's website for every single car in their inventory. Most major accidents that are reported to insurance companies go on here. Many people were saying their car was a fleet or rental car. Again, the Carfax would show this. As a buyer of a used car, do your due diligence, and, I repeat, don't take delivery. This is a NO RISK purchase. Walk around the car and check it out thoroughly. Get inside the car and make sure everything works. Drive the car. My delivery person told me to take as much time as I needed. I was gone for about half an hour. If there is even one thing you don't like, don't take the car.

Result: I did have one key fob that isn't working. I'm assuming it's a battery, but since this has nothing to do with the car itself and they gave me one that DOES work, I decided that I have to be realistic when getting a used car. It's not a mechanical issue, so I'll be looking into this afterward. Everything else about the car was awesome. The car was also cleaned and detailed quite professionally. I had heard from other Carvana customers that dealerships do a much better job, but I disagree. This thing looked like new!

Complaint #3: The car had mechanical issues that I discovered after I took delivery.

My Solution #3: Have a trusted mechanic look it over thoroughly. You have seven days to return it for FREE! I have NEVER purchased a used car without having my family's mechanic inspect it. That is your job as an educated consumer.

Result: My car was from the south (I'm up near the Great Lakes), so my mechanic was in awe of how clean this engine was on this three-year-old car. He gave me the figurative "green light!"

I cannot say enough: The financing went through in about 10 seconds using only a soft pull on my credit, the car is gorgeous and mechanically sound, the delivery person was friendly and patient (the car came with lots of goodies: a reusable water cup with a straw, lip balm, sunglasses, an ice scraper, a windshield shade).

Love this company!

Wonderful experience

After getting a run around from dealers who only seemed interested in running my credit info and pushing their agenda, I stumbled on Carvana. I was able to find out if I was approved for the car I wanted within 24 hours all online. Easiest process for car approval I or my husband have experienced to date. Qualified for 0 down but after playing with the loan calculator opted to put a down payment to lower rates. After agreeing to terms, all online, we set up a date to have it delivered as we live more rural. We read reviews of delayed delivery and was ready for it to happen but it didn't. The car arrived on time in the condition stated online. Have had several mechanics look at it and all say it is a nice car. Came with Carfax, with a complete service record. This has been a very pleasant experience. Very pleasant.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Amazing experience

I was in the need of a new car and I had been putting it off mainly because I didn't want to face the painful process of buying a used car: looking endless inventories, visiting lots of dealers and, more painfully, dealing and negotiating with dealer sellers. My previous purchases had not been pleasant at all, and I was not in the mood to start a new one. A friend of mine recommended Carvana since she had had a very good experience with them. I did a bit of research online about Carvana, and read some terrible reviews in certain venues (not in the Carvana website), so I was not completely sure about going this route. At the end, I decided to follow my friend's advice, mainly because Carvana offered a 7-day return policy (that no dealers offer), so I could always return the car if there were any issues.

I had a very clear idea of the car model I wanted, and even the color (it had to be RED). I checked the Carvana website every night, looking at possible options, and in more or less ten days, I saw exactly what I wanted. It had a much lower mileage than what I was aiming for (which was great), and the price was much lower than what I had seen at all the dealers for that model (and they had a higher mileage). I decided to buy it, with my mind set on returning it if there was the most minimal issue with the car. I went online and bought it on February 4. It took me around 30 minutes to fill all the paperwork, which was simple and easy to do.

I was using my own bank for financing, and Carvana needed to verify the information by phone, with me and a bank representative on the line. In the first try, Carvana was unable to get a bank representative on the line, however, they told me they would keep trying and call me back when they finally get someone on the line. 30 minutes later I got a call; the first bank representative refused to release any information and I had to ask for another representative that I know personally, who (luckily) collaborated. That was the only small issue I run into, and in fact it was not Carvana's fault, but my bank's. Those two phone calls were the only ones in which I had to talk to Carvana representatives, and I must say, they were amazingly attentive, helpful and nice.

I was told that two days later, on February 6, my car would be delivered to my home address between 11:00 AM and noon. In the meantime, I talked to my insurance company in order to cover the new car. On February 6 I received a call at 10:45 AM telling me the car was on its way, and at 11:15 it was delivered. Car was perfectly detailed inside and outside and exactly in the condition that was described (I was able to spot a couple of small chips, but nothing unreasonable that you wouldn't expect from a used car), the tank was full and the person who brought it (Erin) was as nice and polite as the two representatives I had talked on the phone. He gave me two sets of keys, I was able to do a 5 minutes test drive and then, after I decided to keep it, I signed the registration papers that Erin had brought with him. That same day, I took the car to my trusted mechanic, who performed a complete inspection of the car and told me that it was in mint condition, he was unable to find any issues that required attention.

Five weeks later I received my new plates and registration, no issues with that either (and this was a sticky point in many of the reviews I had read, that complained about delays in receiving the registration).

In sum, it has been the BEST experience I ever had buying a car. Carvana worked incredibly well for me; the fact that I knew exactly the car that I wanted might have contributed to my good experience, since it is one of the most popular cars in the US, so there were plenty to choose from in the inventory. I also knew exactly what type of background history I wanted in my car and Carvana provided that information in the Carfax history. The only "stress" I experienced was my own excitement the night before the car was delivered.

Finally, I would like to thank the two representatives that I talked on the phone, and Erin, who delivered the car, since they were professional, attentive and made the whole experience painless.
