Fraud

By Amanda, Idaho, Verified Reviewer

Someone purchased this product from my account without authorization and when my bank called the company and disputed the charges, this company still will not refund. This is horrible. I am a single mom and did NOT PURCHASE your product.

Terrible experience

By Nicole, Australia, Verified Reviewer

I ordered the trial and have been using the products on just one side of the face. There is no visible difference so I called to cancel. The phone number that is obvious on the invoice does not work (at least from Australia) and I really had so search for another number that did work.

The rep I spoke to informed me that he could cancel but I would owe well over $100. I was in such shock I can't even remember the amount. He then said he would halve it and apply his employee discount, to which I would not agree as I had never signed up to any further charges in the first place. I was then told I could return the products at my expense, which I also refused to do, as by this point I was becoming well aware this is not a company that is honest or can be trusted.

Finally I said that I would just contact my bank, as I had not and would not authorize any more charges. At this point the rep became very rude and insulting but did say that they would cancel and I would not be charged anything further. I have an email from them to confirm this.

I wouldn't want my name attached to this company if I was Christie Brinkley.

Rip off

By Mandy, New Zealand, Verified Reviewer

I ordered the free trial, only to discover they sent you the first month's day and night cream with it that you will be charged for. It is also very expensive. I rang the NZ number and with a very bad phone connection argued profusely with the guy, telling him that it was never noted that you had to pay, or at your expense had to return the product, that they sent you without you asking them to. He said he would drop the price and I said NO, you will cancel it all. After another price drop which I didn't accept, he said ok we will cancel, so fingers crossed. The so called wrinkle reducer was rubbish and all it did was dry on my "old hairy skin "and look like I had a skin disease. Not one wrinkle was reduced in appearance. I feel it is rubbish.

Scam

By Anna Dahlberg, Raglan, New Zealand, Verified Reviewer

Beware of Christie Brinkley scam! Okay, so I don't usually get caught by internet advertising scams, but Christie Brinkley Skin Care is a total scam. When they say you get a free trial they mean over NZD $200 per tiny bottle (30ml) of moisturizer, which they take from you in installments. I asked for both the night and morning 'trial', so that is over NZD $400. Sadly, these advertisements tend to catch people who aren't wealthy or can afford these payments. I only rang up because after money was taken from my account, I expected 2 full sized pots of moisturizer. They said "you already received your supply, and your next installment is still to come out of your bank account". The skin care was no better than my Nutrimetics (cruelty free), and 4x the price. I am really guttered. I feel ripped off.

Free trial scam

By Dee, El Paso, TX, Verified Reviewer

I ordered Christie Brinkley's 360 day and night cream free 30 day trial. But not only do I have to cancel before the 30 days so my card won't be charged full price for both, but I must return the product, even if empty, at my cost. When I called to cancel, they tried everything to keep me on their auto refill, which you are automatically signed up for when you order the free trial. All of this information is not available to you until you have given all of your information and your order has been placed. I'm just putting it out there so it doesn't happen to anyone else. I wish I would have known before.

Christie Brinkley Trial

By Janelle, Gold Coast, Australia, Verified Reviewer

I first received my trial pack with 2 jars of Recapture 360 Day cream and one of Close Up Wrinkle Reducer. I was expecting 1 jar of Day and one of Night cream as advertised, but started using the product anyway.

Immediately my face, neck became red. I understand that some active ingredients can cause this, so I continued to use for another day.

Day 2: The redness was much worse and large welts appeared. The itching was terrible. I ceased using the product, immediately, tried to wash and remove it from my skin, but the damage was done.

3 days later my skin is still recovering. It's still red, lumpy and itchy. A very bad reaction to whatever chemicals are in the product.

I was well within the return period, so phoned to ask how to initiate the process.

Apparently the product must be returned in its original packaging, at my cost. I thought “OK fair enough” until I was told that another package was on its way with 2 Night Creams. I said I didn't want it. They claimed they couldn't stop the shipment.

The thing that REALLY pissed me off was that they refused to allow me to send all this rubbish back together. I must send return the packages SEPARATELY and pay 2 separate postage fees.

Rubbish Product, Bad Customer Service, Terrible Experience. Obviously Ms. Brinkley no longer cares what she puts her name to. What a shame to ruin a lifetime reputation and end it in a scam.

Beware of an allergic reaction

By Mt, Minnesota, Verified Reviewer

After using this twice, I have tremendous redness, itching and dry patches on my face; feels and looks like a bad sunburn. I can only imagine what damage it has done to my skin. Will see a Dr. for advice. I definitely should have checked out reviews and chemicals in the product before purchasing. I would never recommend this ; be very cautious!

Stealing From Hard Working People

By Lisa, Michigan, Verified Reviewer

I had the same experience as everyone else on here. I threatened to call the Better Business Bureau and hung up. One minute later they called me back offering 100% refund. I got my money back, now I'm working on reporting them to the BBB.

Just Be Careful

By Bethany, New South Wales, Verified Reviewer

I have tried the "365" product and heeded the caution in the directions to not get it in my eyes. I did apply a thin film across my forehead. Within about 15 minutes it must have traveled down my skin close to my eyes. My eyes were running and burning for two days and nights despite washing my face and flushing my eyes with first cool water and when no help, Visine. I couldn't keep my eyes open long enough to see so I went to bed. The product gave me a nasty metallic taste in my mouth that didn't go away for several hours even with sucking peppermints.

I was very Disappointed

By Brenda Barnes, Verified Reviewer

I have tried this for 3 months and my skin is still the same at it was before I tried it. I was looking for something for my wrinkles and dark spots on my face and this does not work for me. I canceled my subscription and they sent me Hydroxatone Beauty Dollars coupon and I have tried that previously and that didn't work for me either. So I am still searching for the right one.

I'm very disappointed!
