I love my Copper Chef Pans

By Janet Henderson, Boise, Idaho, Verified Reviewer

I purchased the full set of Copper Chef Pans, and I am very pleased. I have used them for all of my cooking for six months, and they are still like new.

I didn't expect them to be indestructible because of the price. Really good pans are usually a lot more money. But I have been very pleased. I read everything I could about them before using for the first time. I found out that they need to be seasoned, which I did. I also found out that you can't turn the stove on high and heat them. You need to take a little time and heat to the higher heat in increments.

My pans still look new, and nothing sticks to them. I highly recommend them, but remember that everything needs extra care. Do your research before using them.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Satisfied

By Joyce Jackson, Winston Salem, NC, Verified Reviewer

I have had my pans about three months, and have no problems so far. I read the instructions and followed them precisely to season the pans. I have used the recommended oils.

My only complaint so far is that you can't use butter or extra virgin olive oil to cook with.

Does the job

By Bill, Livonia, MI, Verified Reviewer

Really does the job. Great for outdoor cooking fried fish, chicken or onion rings. Great temperature control for heating oil. We also use it for camping. Easy storage and very convenient for cooking eggs, hamburgers, bacon, and sausage. Also, great for boiling pasta and steaming vegetables. These make great food warmers/holders. I have 5 units I am going to use for Thanksgiving and Christmas family dinners. I do not use every day, so I have not experienced the nonstick issues others are having.

I would recommend it, but I would not expect to use as your only cooking source 100% of the time.

Don't wash in the dishwasher

By Ted P., Chicago, IL, Verified Reviewer

The non-stick works well if you wash it by hand. They clean easily anyway without the dishwasher. They cook things evenly without burning. They stain a little, but more if you don't wash by hand.

Length of Use: 2+ years

Ordered by PayPal

By Pavel , Utah

I put the PayPal order from Web site www.unitycarts.com/copper_chef_COP319RET. It took 5 minutes. There is statement that delivery will be done between 7 - 10 business days. So if I don't get it within two weeks, I will just dispute PayPal payment.

No delivery problems, smaller than expected

By Melanie, Colorado, Verified Reviewer

Everyone is complaining about the delivery and ordering, but I did not experience any of those issues. But then of course, I was not ordering around Christmas Time. I ordered the product off the internet, after watching the infomercial, and have had no problems. I received the product within seven days of ordering.

I am very disappointed at the size of the pan, though. I wanted to use the steamer for some artichokes, but it is too shallow. I don't know if this will work for me yet, and keep thinking I will return it. It says you can only deep fry three pieces of chicken at a time, so I am not sure this will be efficient for me.

Bottom line is, I was going to return it (due to the size) this week, but after reading that I can return it anytime, I suppose I will see if I can actually use it, and if it is worth the money I spent on it.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Followed directions as stated and it did not come out as stated.

By Lisa Gonzales, Santa Barbara, CA, Verified Reviewer

Cooked a rib eye. Said to sear for a certain amount of minutes and then into the oven. Did exactly as it stated, but was over cooked. Appears the searing was too long. Good thing when it came time to wash it did wipe clean.

Fish frying - fish is sticking to the dip tray and having to be torn apart to get it out. Issue?

Where is this manufactured? Nothing stamped on the pan.

By Diane, Denver, PA, Verified Reviewer

Can anyone tell me where in what Country or State is this pan is manufactured? There is nothing stamped on the pans, lid or in the literature. I thought all products had to supply the origin of manufacture.

My husband tried to heat a hash brown in the skillet without oil on very low heat. It left a sticky residue all around the outer area of the pan and was very difficult to remove. Can't really give a good review yet since I haven't used the larger pan.

Copper toxicity

By Erika, Plumas, CA, Verified Reviewer

Does everything as advertised. But beware if you have had a kidney transplant or the like, as the excess copper can make you very ill and effect you lymph glands. A lot of people don't consider this, as I didn't. But if you're healthy, this is a great product.

Great product but shipped only part of my order.

By Keith Downs, Austin, TX, Verified Reviewer

Ordered this product, partial shipment arrived about 10 days later, One full set of pots never arrived. Called customer service, they assured me the set would be on the way. 19 days later still no set of missing, but paid for, items. Called again, they saw my request on August 15, 2016, but said they must have been too busy and overlooked my order shortage. Luis assured me he would re-prompt the shipping request but evaded direct questions. Well lets wait another 10 plus days to see if I get what I paid for over a month ago.

The problem I see here is it seems if the customer service has a script to read from and has no answer to anything but scripted items. The product is good but make sure to use wood or plastic utensils when cooking as not to scratch the finish in the pans. Rating is due to not getting the ordered and paid for product with multiple requests. I give 4-5 stars to the product, it works.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
