The only thing I do not like

By Tammy Cannoy, Florida, Verified Reviewer

I love the pan; it does just what it shows on TV. It is very non-stick, and washing and clean up of the pan is a breeze.

Please do not get me wrong, I love my Copper Chef Pan, but they have to do something about the lid. It has a silver rim around the edge of the glass, and there is less than 1/16 of an inch gap from where the rim and the glass meet, and I have yet to find a brush small enough to clean. And let me tell you, it is black now, and you can't soak the lid upside down because it has a steam vent and the water comes out. I had to soak one side at a time in bleach to get the black out from under the very edge.

They need to do something about that lid, but I love the pan.

Junk

By Michael Arnold, California, Verified Reviewer

Junk, junk, junk. Don't waste your money. Eggs stick, but they claim that nothing sticks, which is false. Don't buy this junk. I did the oil treatment and it still sticks. Don't waste your money.

Bad stuff

By Rosemarie Brown, California, Verified Reviewer

I have purchased at least six square deep pots and two frying pans. I gave most for gifts, plus we have two homes. ALL are junk! All are stained, and we are unable to clean as shown.

Do not waste your money.

Junk.

By Buddy Lander, California, Verified Reviewer

I used the regular Copper Chef pan for three months, and it was good, but then a grilled cheese sandwich got stuck, it cannot be cleaned.

This is junk. Too expensive to return, not worth buying. I was going to purchase the complete set. I'm glad I did not.

One time use and it broke my heart.

By Phil Kako, Florence, OR, Verified Reviewer

I truly wanted to be pleased but, to no avail. I feel that this XL should have worked the very first time. It did NOT! I tried to oven cook a 4 lbs chicken at a temp of 400 instead of the 325 for an hour and a half, BUT, my chicken came out raw. RAW.

What a shame for Eric?

It is NOT non-stick!

By Cynthia Rey, California, Verified Reviewer

My friends all tell me I need new pans because I'm supposedly eating bad chemicals every time I use them. I saw these on TV one night and thought, "Wow, two for one?" I decided to go for it and got sucked into getting the skillets as well.

I was so excited when I received them. They were so pretty! But the best thing was that I didn't have to use any more butter, spray or oil. I just tried them for the first time and cracked two eggs into the pan. Only problem: I wasn't able to turn them over. They stuck completely! It was a mess. I had to throw them away because there was hardly any egg left. I thought, "this can't be." So I got my other pan and tried it again. I threw two eggs in and got the exact same results.

I'm so mad. The first time I use them and I can't even make eggs. I spent $130 and can't fry an egg? I haven't tried to make anything else, but I'm so not looking forward to it. If everything else sticks, I'm going to be totally depressed that I wasted good money that I work really hard for. Why can't people just be honest about their products? What is wrong with the world?

Very disappointed

By Christa Malcom, Titusville, FL, Verified Reviewer

I purchased this product in conjunction with the air fryer as advertised on TV. My daughter has the copper pans and says they are great, so I purchased the two pans advertised. The 9.5 pan had a small scratch in the corner which felt ridged to my touch. I used it anyway, and now after five uses the pan is sticking and discoloring.

I called customer service and they said it was no problem and to send the pan back at MY expense, and they will ship another to me at MY expense. That is not satisfactory as the shipping will make the cost of the pans twice what I paid originally.

Overall product, according to my daughter, is great, but as for me, customer service is lacking if you receive a defective product. I would not order again. I might buy from a vendor where I can return a defective product easily.

Customer care

By Valerie H., Florida, Verified Reviewer

I have purchased many things from Copper Chef, they have a site that if you purchase 5 items you get everything for $8 and free shipping. So I have just about all of what they make. I will say they are light weight, and I have had good luck with all but one a small fry pan that everything sticks to it and it is a nightmare. I called customer service thinking that they would stand behind their product this is the answer I got. Send back the pan along with a check or money order for $19.95 when I said why the check and if I was to send one I only paid $8. She came back and said to send a check or money order for $9.95 I asked what for, I had already paid for the reject pan and she said for the shipping. They do not have good customer service, I should not be paying anything for the pan is defective, I have spent more than $300 with them. I was thinking of gifts etc. I do not feel they are a fair company to do business with and will tell many of my experience.

Misleading product dimension advertising

By Denis Hart, Polson, MT, Verified Reviewer

We bought the 9 1/2" Deep Square Pan. As written, and advertised, one would logically conclude that the pan would be 9 1/2 inches deep, and about the same pan dimensions (i.e. 9 1/2" X 9 1/2"). Come to find out, after spending over $100 on the whole order, the "deep" pan is only 4 1/2" deep. I am really disappointed in this type of misleading advertising.

Fry basket scratched the pans

By Cheryl, Miami, FL, Verified Reviewer

Was so excited I bought 2 square pans and couldn't wait to cook for a big party weekend. Everyone loved them. We used them to bake, fry and make eggs. They worked amazingly.

But after washing and really looking at them the bottoms were a mess. The finish was scraped off part of one. Then the edges of both have sharp scratches on one side. The fry basket scratched the finish right off. It was sharp and you could slice your finger on it if you slid it across the scratches.

And the one we baked in? Cutting the lemon bars the metal pie server scratched a tic-tac-toe into the finish. I thought you could even use a mixer in them (according to one infomercial).

We bought these at a local store and I am going to return them. Have thought about exchanging them and then not using the fry basket and being extra careful not to scratch them BUT that sort of defeats the purpose.

I'd recommend these with the warning of USER BE GENTLE. Sigh.

Copper Chef

By Joseph Apicella, West Hempstead, NY, Verified Reviewer

To be able to swish any eggs like on TV is not possible, they stick and clean up is difficult. Everything else sticks. The only thing that I like about this pan is the size. I will also say the same comments about my Cathy Mitchell pan, because the advertising is the same for both products.
