Piece of Crap

By James, Fort Lauderdale, FL, Verified Reviewer

This is a piece of crap. I have used the 10" skillet to make fried eggs for 2 weeks and now the egg will not come off the bottom of the pan unless I use a Scotch Brite pad. These pans are junk and the guy that invented them should be jailed for ripping off the public. I am going back to my old Farberware skillet I have had for 30 years, at least they can be cleaned and reused daily.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Best purchase I've ever made!

By Lisa Lynn Braganza, Verified Reviewer

I don’t normally leave comments on items that I purchase online, but I can’t believe all of the negative reviews that people are leaving, considering they haven’t even tried the Copper Chef pan. I can understand everyone’s frustration due to the back ordering issue, because I was also in that position. I ordered my Copper Chef just before Christmas, and noticed that my order was on hold due to the product being on back order. Well, my Copper Chef finally shipped, and I received it in the third week of January. I’m so happy that I was patient and did not cancel my order, because honestly, it’s the best pan that I’ve ever owned. I have used it every single day since receiving it, and am completely amazed by how wonderful it is. It’s very easy to use, and cooks food to perfection. It’s the easiest pan to clean and so far, nothing has stuck to this pan. You could literally just wipe away food residue using a paper towel, if you wanted to of course.

Bottom line, if you have the patience to deal with the current back order issue, I would highly recommend the Copper Chef pan.

NOT WHAT THEY SAY

By Kathleen Gilmore , Claysville, PA, Verified Reviewer

I purchased the pans online after watching several ads. They show them scratching it with a fork and using a mixer in them. One of the directions for use was not to use metal utensils. Also, it is to be nonstick. I made grilled cheese sandwiches and the runover cheese did not slide out. I had to soak the pan for a few minutes. For me, these pans did not perform the way they were advertised to.

I contacted Copper Chef and have yet to get a response.

Best Pan EVER

By Rahni, SF, CA, Verified Reviewer

Everything they say about this product is true. Nothing sticks to the surface. I have put mine to the test, and it passed with flying colors. I cooked toffee and melted chocolate in it, and it worked perfectly.

After a few uses, it's hard to clean

By Roy Ronald Sabater, La Palma, CA, Verified Reviewer

After using the pan for two months, the stains won't come off even with cleaning pads. I'm very disappointed. It seems like there's a coating that came off after a few uses.

TERRIBLE PRODUCT

By Margaret Osterhout, Vestal, NY, Verified Reviewer

We have had these pans roughly 3 months, but the frying pan has been used mostly cooking eggs, fish, grilled cheese, etc. At about 2 weeks, we noticed a chip had come out of the middle of the pan (the finish is now wearing off both pans). We complained to them & they said to send it back. So we now have to go thru the trouble of buying a box, packing it, then paying to ship it back, $15 or more. Was it really worth our time & money to send this crap back or grin & bare it like most people.

We didn't send it back, we got screwed.

Poor service, they don't believe in communication.

By James Rulison, Rochester, NY, Verified Reviewer

I placed an order and did receive a confirmation. I waited 9 days and never heard a word. I tried to chat but no one even answered. I then called and was told it would be 3-4 weeks before it would ship because it is on back order. The foreign agent that I could barely understand (although polite) said he could not give a ship date. I asked him to cancel which was no problem, I think. He said they would not send out an order cancelation notice and the only way to verify that it has been canceled is to call back. Eric Theiss has his endorsement all over it, which is one of the reasons why I bought it. I won't be buying anything with his name on it again, here or on QVC. Hard to believe in this day of easy communication that they can't even let you know it is back ordered or that you have canceled the order. There are too many good companies to work with and that care about customers -- this apparently is not one of them.

Good while it lasted.

By Brett, MI, Verified Reviewer

Deep square pan. Worked great for a while. A few months. Just as advertised. Was happy with it for that time. Then I cooked salmon in it as directed. Since then EVERYTHING sticks like glue. Still use it for steamed veggies and boiling noodles. All it's good for now.

Followed directions as stated and it did not come out as stated.

By Lisa Gonzales, Santa Barbara, CA, Verified Reviewer

Cooked a rib eye. Said to sear for a certain amount of minutes and then into the oven. Did exactly as it stated, but was over cooked. Appears the searing was too long. Good thing when it came time to wash it did wipe clean.

Fish frying - fish is sticking to the dip tray and having to be torn apart to get it out. Issue?

Where is this manufactured? Nothing stamped on the pan.

By Diane, Denver, PA, Verified Reviewer

Can anyone tell me where in what Country or State is this pan is manufactured? There is nothing stamped on the pans, lid or in the literature. I thought all products had to supply the origin of manufacture.

My husband tried to heat a hash brown in the skillet without oil on very low heat. It left a sticky residue all around the outer area of the pan and was very difficult to remove. Can't really give a good review yet since I haven't used the larger pan.
