I am not satisfied with this pan.

By Rosemarie Deitz, Selkirk, NY, Verified Reviewer

This pan is the worst pan I have ever owned. I bought a big round Gotham Steel Pan, which I love. Nothing sticks to it, it even cooks, and it washes very easy. I bought this square Copper Chef Pan, and everything sticks to it. Tonight it shredded my chicken breasts; just a mess. I would buy another Gotham copper pan, but never a Copper Chef. I didn't realize there was a difference, but it's a big difference. Even if I add oil or cooking spray, everything sticks.

So buyer beware and make sure it's a Gotham copper you are buying.

This is worst non-stick pan I have ever owned

By Lori Trudel, Oshawa, Ontario, Canada, Verified Reviewer

We initially used our Copper Chef fry pan every day just for fried eggs, and after about ten uses, the surface was no longer non-stick. We started cooking eggs with butter so they wouldn't stick, but they stick worse with every use. Clean up is difficult. It does not wipe clean. I have to scrub the pan. The surface is stained and seems damaged now. I would not buy a Copper Chef fry pan ever again.

Worst buy

By Dorothy Sims, Columbus, IN, Verified Reviewer

I bought the Copper Chef frying pan also after seeing the advertisement that the pans do not stick and there is no need for any oils. I did use them the first couple of times without anything sticking, but then it has been horrible. Everything sticks. I have been trying everything and nothing works, and still everything sticks. I too wish I had seen the reviews before buying. They need to take these off the market. False advertisement. Don't buy this pan!

Love them!

By Ceil Driscoll, Philadelphia, PA, Verified Reviewer

I received a set of Copper Chef square frying pans as a Christmas gift. I have used them several times; eggs, pancakes, pork chops (for pork chops, I seared them on the stove-top, then put the pan into the oven.) Food evenly cooked, no sticking, easy clean-up!

Non stick?

By Al Green, Ontario, Canada, Verified Reviewer

These are supposed to be nonstick?

I bought a couple of these, and last night I did some pork chops in the pan, and they stuck big time. The pan was very hard to clean, and now they may just be garbage!

Disappointed

By Deb Altendorfer, Minnesota, Verified Reviewer

I received it as a Christmas gift so no receipt, therefore, no warranty. I opened the box to use, and the 'kettle' has a chip on the inside bottom corner. It still works but how long before that chip spreads or food starts sticking? Disappointed.

I wasted money

By Beverly Reyes, California, Verified Reviewer

I used the pan three times and after the third use everything I cooked stuck to the pan. Horrible clean up; I need to soak with water before it cleans up well. Terrible pan, I would not purchase.

Not induction worthy

By TC, Spokane, WA, Verified Reviewer

We bought two of the pans as a Christmas gift. The packaging says “induction” for even heating. The marketing says it can be used on any cooktop, including induction. I use induction heating for the majority of my meals. These pans do not work on any of the induction cooktops I have. This was misleading and disappointing.

Non stick

By Tim McQuillan, Sterling, IL, Verified Reviewer

My wife and I purchased Two Copper Chef pans at Walmart. They did work as seen on TV and nothing stuck to them. I was able to clean them out with a cloth towel.

On the fourth time use, I made eggs for breakfast and they stuck to the pan. I could not get the pans clean, and I washed them in soap and hot water and they still have stains on them from the eggs. I cannot get them clean. I later cooked burgers in them and the same results as the eggs. I sear my burgers to keep the juice in, and that requires a hot pan. I had a very hard time just trying to flip the burgers. They sure did not work as I was led to believe on TV.

The pans seem to wear out quickly as far as nonstick ability. I do not recommend them if you eat eggs or burgers. That's all we have tried, and it's back to our cast iron. Don't waste your money on Copper Chef.

The Copper Chef is good if you like stuck-on food

By Robyn Ply, Vancouver, WA, Verified Reviewer

Horrible product. Food sticks, you have to soak to get it off. The Copper Chef customer support is horrid. The rep hung up on me after I asked him “isn’t this product supposed to be non-sticking?" Save your money and find something else. This is not a good pan.

Piece of crap!

By Dale J Curtis, Florida, Verified Reviewer

Whatever you do, do not buy this piece of crap pan!

I used my 9.5-inch square pan 6 times now and everything is sticking, and it only cooks where the round plate is on the pan; the outside does not cook.

I called customer service 4 times. Three times I was trying to understand someone probably from India; I asked for someone who speaks English and they would not connect me! This is a violation of Federal Law.

On the 4th attempt, I finally got an English-speaking person and she asked me if I had prepped the pan as it instructs you to do. I said yes, then she said you need to repeat this step. If it still doesn't work for you, you can send it back, you pay postage, and add an additional $14.95 for a new pan. What?! Right there I've already paid more than what I bought the pan for, and what about this warranty for life? It's all a lie!

Do not buy this product. It is not worth it; it is a total piece of crap!
