A miracle serum!

By Caroline P., Dallas, TX, Verified Reviewer

Since I can remember I’ve been battling with acne. I’ve suffered from stubborn whiteheads and red patches on my cheeks. I never wanted to go out in public without makeup on. I tried every home remedy, prescription from the dermatologist, and "miracle" treatment out there and still never saw the results I wanted. I tried expensive pills, lotions, and serums. The last time I went to the dermatologist they said they couldn’t do anything else for me and wanted to put me on Accutane. That’s when I knew something had to change. After seeing ads for Curology on Facebook, I decided to give it a try in December of 2018, signing up for just the night time serum. In February, I started having drastically less breakouts and even starting wearing makeup less. Here I am in November 2019 and I cannot even tell you how happy I am with my skin. My friends notice. My family notices. I rarely break out anymore and if I do, it’s one pimple that lasts for a day, not the handful of stubborn whiteheads I used to get. Curology has seriously changed my life and my self-esteem! I can’t thank y’all enough!

Worst experience ever, they suck, they trick people

By Angie, New York, Verified Reviewer

So, I was expecting good results since all of these people said "oh my god, it's a miracle worker" and "oh wow, all my acne is gone" and they posted up all these pictures and all these nice ratings. And then I went to get the trial version. AND THEN my face got worse than better.

They trick you with sponsoring their ads and all these people that get better with their "Serum" but in reality, it makes your face worse with a lot of break outs that freaking hurt, and I looked even worse than before.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Hi Angie,

So sorry to hear you had such a poor experience. Do know that it can take time for any prescription acne treatment to work (including Curology), so we do encourage you to stick with it and utilize your Curology provider for any concerns you may have along the way.

It can be common for your skin to get worse before it gets better as your skin clears out and adjusts to your prescription. Please don't hesitate to check in with your provider with new photos and he or she will be happy to help determine if this is the normal progression of your treatment or if any adjustments need to be made to help get you back on track.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to email us at support@curology.com, we're happy to help however we can.

Curology, does it really work?

By Tanya V., Denver, CO, Verified Reviewer

I don't ever write reviews, pretty much never, but ugh, I feel guilty not sharing Curology to the world. You guys, I've tried other screams/natural remedies. Nothing worked. My face had almost no spots that were clear skin.

In about three months of using Curology, IT WORKED.

Just try it. If you're debating on the money, it's only $20 a month. Just try it. At least for a couple of months. YOU'RE WELCOME.

Horrible experience all around

By Danielle B., Illinois, Verified Reviewer

I participated in the free trial and chose the $19.99 subscription for when my trial was up. I was NEVER consulted by a doctor before the sent my product as they advertise. After my trial, I was charged 3 times the price I subscribed to and had seen no results from my product. When I tried to contact customer service they have no phone number so I had to email them and my product was shipped while I was waiting for a response. Customer service was then no help in accepting their mistake and refused to fix it. I am now trying to log into my account to cancel and it is impossible. It says my password or email are incorrect but they are not and when I try to reset, it sends me to the trial page to reorder. The system is flawed and instead of the company owning up to it they are charging me anyway.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Not impressed, no changes.

By Nikki G., Colorado, Verified Reviewer

My skin has had zero irritation to the formula. However, my skin has also not made any changes since beginning treatment. I am not seeing ANY results after using the system (cleanser/moisturizer/treatment) for months now. My problem areas (chin, jawline, neck) still have continuous bumps and acne - most of which are still large, clustered, and under the skin. Furthermore, it now seems as though I have MORE acne breakouts on my cheeks than I did before beginning treatment: especially small, under the skin lumps and acne on cheek area (which was never a problem-area previously).

The formula does not seem to be customized to my skin, and I find it unfortunate that there is no request for feedback after the trial period, aside from the generic "no worries that it’s not working, it’ll take 4-6 weeks to see changes, stay with it!" It’s now been 8+ weeks of regular use with no changes in sight.

My skin is NOT SENSITIVE, my formula needs to be changed and be more potent. I’m dissatisfied with the amount of money spent and the minimal to zero results.

I can't say enough

By Sophia, Verified Reviewer

I have dry and sensitive skin (but also oily at the same time), and my acne was terrible. Everything I tried made it worse and I truly thought nothing would ever fix me. My friend has completely different skin than I do but this worked for her, so I gave it a try.

I was BLOWN AWAY by how fast I saw results. Seriously, within three days. I've been using Curology now for two months, and I've got maybe one pimple in that entire time. I love, love, love the nurse practitioner that they set me up with, and I have no idea what I'd do without my formulation.

Ten stars.

It works!

By Julie Laffler, Saint Louis, MO, Verified Reviewer

I’ve been using Curology for almost eight months now and I absolutely love it. I was a little skeptical with the whole process being online, but it proved me wrong. This once-nightly cream drastically improved my skin in so many ways. Not only has my skin cleared but my overall tone and texture are much better as well. Any dark spots and redness that I had from old acne have faded significantly. I absolutely love this product and am glad I gave it a try.

My routine:

Morning - Sundae Riley U.F.O. oil, and Neutrogena Hydrating Water Gel.

Night - Cetaphil facial cleanser, Curology, and Neutrogena Hydrating Water Gel.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Will be canceling!

By Kailee, Kansas City, MO, Verified Reviewer

I will admit that I do not have terrible acne (if you can really even call it that). I get about 5-6 blemishes a month, but they can get pretty bad at times. I model, and it is important for me to keep my skin clear and healthy.

So I decided to try out Cureology. I mean, $5 for a trial bottle is nothing (this is not the case, however, when you do not receive your product). So I pay and my bottle finally ships. I was extremely excited to try this out, so I had been tracking my bottle twice a day, every day since it had shipped.

So it arrives at a Post Office in Utah, and for the next 4-5 days, it doesn't move. I realize it takes up to 10 business days, so I wait. The date it said it would be here it did not arrive, but I figured it was okay since I had not received any updates about it like they said I would receive. Four days after it was supposed to be here I track it again, and for the first time it shows up that it could not be delivered due to a problem with the shipping address. I check the address, which is correct, and get ahold of Curology. I have yet to hear back and do not want to cancel out of fear that I will not hear back about the product I spent my money on.

The only reason I gave two stars is because they are friendly and were helpful at the beginning, but I am upset that they did not update me (as they said) about there being a problem with my package. It's safe to say that I will not be sticking with them.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Hi Kailee,

I'm sorry to hear that you haven't received your shipment yet! If you have reached out to our support team, you should hear back from them shortly. We work hard to reply to all support inquiries within 24-48 hours if not much sooner.

Once a shipment leaves our office, we rely on USPS to deliver the shipment to the address provided. With the recent holiday weekends and extreme weather across parts of the US, there may be some additional delays. Once a shipment is marked as failed and returned to us, our team will be sure to reach out. If you have not yet heard from our team about a failed shipment, it is likely that USPS is still attempting to deliver this to you. If it has failed and is being returned, please let us know! We'll be happy to see why you were not yet contacted.

If you have not yet heard back from our support team about this, please do let us know. We'll be happy to have a member of our team reach out to you so that we may help resolve this for you.

Curology

By E S., Georgia, Verified Reviewer

I have been using it for a few weeks. I haven't noticed any change, and it also burns my skin sometimes. The smell is pretty gross. It's not the worst, but it definitely made me nauseous a couple of times.

Sorry to hear that! Understand that it can take time for the prescription medication to begin working. Reach out to your Curology provider and he/she will happy to help offer advice to ensure your skin is on track. We avoid adding any fragrance to our medication, as many people can be sensitive to the additional ingredients involved.

A very small percentage of members find the medication to have a slight scent. If you find this to be a bother, it might help to apply a non-comedogenic fragrant moisturizer shortly after applying your prescription, or you can try mixing your prescription with your moisturizer before application.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to email us at support@curology.com.

Basic products for an expensive price

By Abby M., Milwaukee, WI, Verified Reviewer

I tried the trial version of Curology. I thought it was great at first...I liked the feedback from the medical health providers and I liked that you submitted selfies to show to your provider.

I used the products for two weeks and my skin did not improve at all. The products felt basic and didn’t feel good on my face. Additionally, they charged me another $61 for a subscription of Curology. I contacted customer service email (they don’t have a phone line) and no one responded to me. This company scammed me out of my hard-earned money.

Definitely would not recommend. Poor experience.
