A little shady

Online companies all have their shady sides that might leave you wondering the legitimacy of the products that they sell. I happened to not like the way customer service was handled. After using their product for about a month, I decided that this wasn't going to work for me. The fact that they don't have a reviews page on their website makes it all the more sketchy. And communicating through an email-only basis also arose some questions. Also, the No-Refund Policy made me raise an eyebrow, even before receiving the second shipment I had emailed about a refund to get my money back before I receive the package. But they simply gave me some vague Food and Drug Act and said that they won't give me back anything.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Missing package...only canned responses

So far pretty crappy...their tracking said the package was delivered but it wasn't there. ALL communication thus far is nothing but silly canned responses. I really want to try this with my daughter and she was pretty excited, but so far nothing but disappointment. Hopefully, an actual person will find out why they can't get the whereabouts of our package figured out.

Horrible experience all around

I participated in the free trial and chose the $19.99 subscription for when my trial was up. I was NEVER consulted by a doctor before the sent my product as they advertise. After my trial, I was charged 3 times the price I subscribed to and had seen no results from my product. When I tried to contact customer service they have no phone number so I had to email them and my product was shipped while I was waiting for a response. Customer service was then no help in accepting their mistake and refused to fix it. I am now trying to log into my account to cancel and it is impossible. It says my password or email are incorrect but they are not and when I try to reset, it sends me to the trial page to reorder. The system is flawed and instead of the company owning up to it they are charging me anyway.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Curology made my skin go from bad to worse

My skin got SIGNIFICANTLY worse. I had minor acne when I started Curology, by the time I canceled almost 5 months on Curology, my acne was so severe I’m now on Accutane to correct the damage Curology did to my skin. I basically spent $40 dollars a month to damage my skin.

I understand that this product probably has worked for others, but won’t work for everyone. The frustrating thing was I saw zero improvement, so I asked to change my prescription, my dermatologist spent most of her time trying to convince me that it was every other product causing this outbreak but Curology. When I explained to her that nothing else in my routine had changed other than Curology she finally said OK, we'll we can try something else I guess, but just make sure you’re looking at your other products. I understand she works for Curology, but any legitimate dermatologist would clearly see you right away that this product was the problem and tell me to get off of it. It’s not my other products and it’s NOT a FIVE MONTH purging period. I will NOT be recommending Curology to anyone I know.

Disappointed

SCAM. Buyer beware. I don't understand how his company is getting away selling this product. First things first, I have to admit, the actual product that was formulated for me personally worked. I liked it. However, when I did my online questioner, consulted with their NP, I was ready for my trial. I paid the shipping. Received my trial within a few days. Three weeks later I received a box with my personalized bottle, a cleanser, and a moisturizer. I was shocked as I NEVER EVER ordered this package. Never received an email either that this was shipping and they charged my credit card $59.90.

I emailed and they said that "I" signed up for this monthly package. Really? I told them that I wanted to return the package and they said "due to FDA regulations" that they cannot accept returns. I understand that they can't accept my personal bottle, but the moisturizer and cleanser -c'mon! That's like me going into my local drug store and purchasing a moisturizer to find out it didn't work. I am 100% positive they would return it. I never signed up for this subscription...why would I do this without trying their product first? They (Curology) automatically signed me up for this. According to other reviews, this is what they do. I'm not the only one this happened to. Of course, there is no number to all for the business. I emailed them and asked them to call me. They said they would, but never initially gave me a time. The next day I received a call from "no caller ID". Well, I didn't answer. So I had to email again for them to tell that they will call me 2 days later. Received a call 2 days later and the Curology rep kept telling me that "I" signed up for this. She sounded like a robot. She then asked me if I wanted to cancel my subscription. I went online and canceled and made sure my card on file was no longer working.

Unreal. This company/product is advertised all over social media with YOUTUBERS promoting this. This company is 100% unethical and crooks. Again...think twice before having any kind of connection with this company.

Ineffective product

I have been using Retin-A prescription strength since 1984. I have always been thrilled with the results. I read about Curology and wanted to try it. What a huge mistake. I didn't get anywhere near the results that I did with prescription Retin-A. I've always used prescription Retin-A every third or fourth day and had amazing results. This product broke out my face, I noticed no effect whatsoever except that it made my skin peel. I could use it once a week and it peeled. I tried using it every several days and it peeled. And I was already using Retin-A and have not had any problem with peeling for decades, nothing I did made this milder. I would even put it on over moisturizer and my face with still peel for a day or two.

I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Plus you can't get a hold of a human being to talk, ever. Takes them several days to get back to you.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

They will keep shipping you bottles even after telling them to stop

I was not seeing results so I stopped my orders, instead, they postponed it and continued shipping and charging me 2 months later. I even sent an email before the product was shipped but instead, it seems after I caught the order before it was shipped they rushed it out to keep the purchase. I sent them an email to not send me the product and an hour later I get a notification it was shipped. I will never deal with this company again, it does nothing an over-the-counter cream won't do. Nothing special and dirty sales tactics. Also, the bottles are made to look like you got more then you have. 80% fluff packaging and even using as recommended, results won't last you the specified time frame and you're unlikely to see results using minimal amounts. Bad for the enviroment, bad for your wallet, bad for your face.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Frustrating

I used Curology for many months with high hopes. I switched to the $40 bottle and was receiving it all the time. I felt it might have been fixing my skin for a month, but soon turned back to how my skin was before. I kept up with it hoping it would only take time for it to work. Months go by and money is taken as nothing seems to change. The only change I notice is the face that my skincare provider changes multiple times. This frustrates me as many different people now have seen these pictures of me and my information without me having a say. I then have a change of circumstance and have less to spend on medication. I postpone the shipment and my skin remains the same. After a few postponing sessions, I realize my skin is clearer after stopping Curology. That is when I receive a text that my shipment of $40 has been completed and I had a tracking number. I was so upset and distraught over this as I had received no warning at all prior to this. $40 is nothing to laugh about for a product I WILL NOT USE! I contacted Curology and they did nothing to help me, other than to postpone my NEXT shipment. I told them I am disgusted and will not be returning at any point in the future. This has been a waste of my money, time, and skincare. You can have better results with a drugstore brand cleanser.

They trick you if you want to cancel

I used this for about 6 months. I never noticed a difference (good nor bad), so I canceled my subscription. Low and behold, 2 months later I get an email saying I had a shipment on its way! I check my account, and somehow it's changed back to a two-month subscription! This is absolutely criminal, and I'm not just going to sit back and let them take my $40 that I didn't consent to be taken for their awful formula. DO NOT try this unless you feel confident that you'll want it forever, apparently!

Charge you but no product

We ordered this for my daughter and we received the first shipment. We are now being charged on the credit card, but not receiving any product. Their excuse in the email says they all of a sudden don’t have our full address and it was returned, but still stealing our money with no product. They have no contact number to call and are full of excuses by email, so now we have to claim theft on the company. Don’t waste your money or time on this product.

Charges you but doesn't confirm and it doesn't work

I was on this product for almost two years and my main concern was brown spots. This product never helped my brown spots and I did not see any difference with acne. Also, when I put my account on hold they failed to notify me later after hold time they sent another package to me charging me. They should notify the customer and confirm if I want to be off hold.
