Product does nothing

By Jean R Bauer, Midway City, CA, Verified Reviewer

I have been using the introductory package which includes eye cream, neck cream, under eye puffiness cream, upper lid cream, face cream, and the initial oil to be rubbed in before starting. I have found the following:

1. This regimen is time-consuming.

2. It does positively nothing. I have used them for a month.

When I ordered, I was told to get my return and charge credited, I needed to return in two months, however, the insert with the packaging says four months.

Also, the containers are so small that you need a magnifying glass to read what each one is for, and I can usually read without glasses.

Big disappointment. And I just hope they don't give me a problem when I return the rest.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Did nothing for me

By Julia, North Carolina, Verified Reviewer

I tried 3 of their Genucel products and saw no difference with ANY of them. My experience with Chamonix: doesn't work, over priced, rip off auto ship program and rude customer service.

Save your money

By R O , California

The only way to get rid of the bags under your eyes is to have the fat removed through surgery. A cream, including this one, will never do what it claims to do. Be smart. Don't get suckered into spending your money on products that don't work.

Still waiting…

By Gladys, Houston, TX, Verified Reviewer

Well, I am still waiting for the bags under my eyes to disappear and it's been three weeks. At first I thought I might need to try it longer but after reading the reviews, I know it doesn't work. I will be returning the box they sent me last week, two weeks after I had received the first. Hopefully the refund will go smoothly.

Genucel is a scam

By Robby Davis , Baytown, Texas

Per the official website of Genucel the customer should see results of using the stem cell therapy on their puffy eyes in at least 12 hours. I purchased this product in February 2015 for my wife. She has used it for 45 days straight and has yet to see any difference in the bags and puffiness of her eyes. She even discussed this product with our dermatologist and he said don't get suckered into using this product because it does not work.

Then to add insult to injury, I receive another order from them with another charge to my credit card. I have called to have that order shipped back and my credit card refunded, but their company policy states that all auto-order shipments are not refundable. I talked to the customer service rep and their supervisor and they both stated the company policy. The company does not have any inkling of customer focus or customer satisfaction. You can have credit for other products, but I do not want to do business with a company whose products don't work or who cares less about their customers except to get their money. I would NOT recommend their products and will tell everyone I know about our experience.

The Worst Product

By Mary Jo Wilson, Palm Springs, Verified Reviewer

I received the introductory package three weeks ago as a gift. After a day and a half of using it my left cheek and eye swelled up and both eyes began itching. We contacted the company and after three requests for a return authorization we finally got an email response. The real kicker however is this: for the privilege of getting swollen eyes and itching we are being charged a 9% restocking fee and have to pay for the return postage. BEWARE.

Proceed with caution!

By Mary Schell, Barrington, IL, Verified Reviewer

I received my first supply of Genucel on a Friday, used it that night, twice on Saturday and on Sunday morning. By Sunday evening my entire eye area was red and irritated and so I did not use Genucel that night. Monday morning I awoke looking like a prizefighter after a long match. I saw my dermatologist and he put me on steroid medication and hydrocortisone.

The sad thing was that I decided to try Genucel to improve the look of my eyes for my son's upcoming wedding, now I'm just hoping that my face looks normal by next weekend! There are no warnings to try Genucel in a small inconspicuous area of your face (temple, maybe?) before you apply it to your entire eye area and realize that you are highly allergic to one or more of its "plant extracts". I called and told the rep what had happened, and returned everything but still had to pay for shipping- just happy to get rid of it!

Please be cautious. I have never had a reaction to any eye cream before, and I've tried a lot at every price point.

Scam!

By Lola , Shoreline, WA

They say "money back guarantee" but it's NOT! They charge 9% to return the products. I had to pay more in postage just to get it back in time. Besides that, the gal on the phone was eating when she was talking to me. The box came with the products just thrown in with no tissue or padding of any sort. If I'm going to splurge and pay so much, the least they could do is PRETEND they have a high end product. When you call for "permission" to return the product, they have someone call you back later!

Also, they immediately sign you up for a program that will continue to send you MORE products every 2 months. As for the products, absolutely NOTHING better than what you can buy at the drug store. Don't do it. I'm out $40+ for nothing!

I tried it for a month

By Richard Fischer ,

I tried their Genucel product I heard about on radio. I tried it for a month, and they then shipped me more a month later without my authorization on an auto-ship program.

They made it right with some argument, but when I requested my money back on the original order because it did not work, they denied it even though their radio ads say money back guarantee.

I think they are running a questionable operation, and trying to push people to auto-ship, hoping people will not cancel.

I would not recommend this product.

Watch out for the auto renew rip offs.

By Cory O., Arizona, Verified Reviewer

I purchased a package online and wasn't aware that you are automatically put onto an auto renew status. I received an update from my credit card that a purchase was just made so I called in immediately as I did not want to make another purchase at the time and told them I'd like to cancel the auto renew and be reimbursed for the order that was just placed on auto renew. I was informed that the order was already sent even though I was just charged not an hour before and they could not refund what they charged me. I'm now out $200. Terrible customer service for someone who supposedly guarantees their product. Unbelievable! I would not recommend a company with scams like this to anybody!

This Ranks Right Up There with Nigerian Email Scammers

By Frank Sonye , Anaheim, California

12 hours? I did 12 weeks and nothing happened. Ask yourself this: If this product is so great, why do they need to auto bill you and force you to have to cancel? Wouldn't this stuff be flying off the shelf due to the demand?

It was a complete hassle just to cancel. I wasn't looking for a refund, I just wanted to be sure their auto-shipping scam wasn't going to charge my credit card again. Luckily, I used a card that was about to expire when I made the purchase.

When I called to cancel, they told me a rep would call me back. I called during business hours mind you. I told the phone rep that a callback was unacceptable; that I wanted it canceled NOW. She gave me some company line about how only the Customer Service Department could help me. My response: "I bet if I were calling to PLACE an order I wouldn't have to wait for a callback." Despite my logic, I lost the battle.

I received a callback the following day (naturally I was at work). The lady on the phone was rude and took her sweet time. I finally got a confirmation number finalizing my cancellation.

The biggest disappointment of all however, is the caliber of radio personalities who are endorsing this crap. Sean Hannity, Bill Carroll and most hosts on KFI 640 in Los Angeles are peddling this fraud. They've lost most if not all of my respect.
