Not enough time to make a good evaluation yet.

By Virginia V., Winter Haven, FL, Verified Reviewer

I haven't been taking this a full month yet, but the intended effect may show up soon. I had been craving potato chips (salty, greasy, crispy) and dark chocolate (cookies or candy). The cravings are not quite as strong but still there somewhat (may be more of a habit for those particular items than a craving now). I have "slight reflux" per my gastroenterologist. The only symptom is a dry hacking cough that really hurts my throat and causes wheezing when I breathe. I am hoping that whenever, or if ever, I start losing weight (I'm probably 50+ pound overweight) that the cough and wheezing subside some. Hoping the Prebiothrive will help correct the balance in my gut and this will eventually balance all other aspects of my body and life.

I do have a problem with the packaging though. If the canister were shorter and wider, it would be easier to get my hand inside to scoop the powder. The powder does cake and is hard to dissolve. I end up drinking a small amount of little lumps of the powder, so it seems a little gritty. Otherwise, it is tasteless, so I don't have a problem with the flavor while drinking it.

I know this review is probably not going to be helpful, but as I said I haven't been taking it long enough yet to really tell if it will help me or not.

There needs to be another choice below on if I would recommend this to a friend as I'm not sure yet if I would or not so at this point I am marking NO, but that could change in the future.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Feeling better

By Marry C., Grand Rapids, MI, Verified Reviewer

I have not noticed much of a change in my weight since starting Prebiothrive but have noticed that the bloating I had in my upper abdomen has improved immensely so that I do not have a full feeling all the time and much more comfortable in my clothes.

I am having some difficulty following the guidelines for the diet as a lot of my favorite foods are things I'm not suppose to eat, like tomatoes (it is summer in Michigan, and home-grown tomatoes are so tasty) and crusty breads. I am trying to eat less of these but not able to totally give up my favorite foods.

A happier stomach

By Charles S., Princeton, NJ, Verified Reviewer

Before I started Prebiothrive my stomach was upset (growling, aching, and bloated). The very first day on the prebiotic most of these issues abated and then disappeared the next day. As my digestion got better, I felt a bit more energy in the morning, as well as more regular bowel movements. I got an electric whisk which helped eliminate the lumps of powder in my water glass. And I started to like the "nut-like" flavor of the undissolved powder left in my glass. It's become a part of my morning ritual. I just started month two, so I am hoping for a bit of weight loss this month.

Great

By Vickie T., Tennessee, Verified Reviewer

Pleasant and easy to use. Helps with the gut pain and discomfort. It has made every day life a little better. Thank you for your product and the chance to try a prebiotic that works and one that I am proud to share with others.

I have been using the powder for just one week. So far I have survived it.

By Shelley G., Toronto, Canada, Verified Reviewer

It is too soon in my experience to offer a review. One week is simply not enough time to evaluate the efficacy. It hasn't given any harmful side effects, however, and so I am willing to keep going with it.

Helped with my digestive issues

By R W., Phoenix, AZ, Verified Reviewer

After consistently using this product for a couple of weeks, I notice less bloating, nausea and constipation. I have not noticed any other benefits yet but am satisfied enough to continue using it and would recommend it.

When I first started using it, I had some heartburn and a very active, rolling belly for a few days. I went to every other day and then slowly worked my way back up to one full scoop a day, it just takes a little getting used to.

Best thing that ever happened to my stomach!

By Sheila S., Bothell, WA, Verified Reviewer

Before taking Prebiothrive, I had stomachaches every time I ate and several headaches a day. As soon as I started taking it every day, my stomachaches and headaches went away. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it is gritty. There's no taste to it, but the grittiness is a problem for me - but one I'm willing to deal with because I feel like a new person!

Good but not great

By Teresa A., Camas, WA, Verified Reviewer

A few weeks ago I had a heart attack at age 54, and while researching what I should eat, I came across their website. I have been taking their prebiotic along with the Reds supplement. Although I love the Reds supplement, I do have some issues with the prebiotic. Their website claims it dissolves easily in water, and that has not been my experience. Even when I use a blender, there are several chunks left at the bottom of the glass. I wish they could find a way to make it truly dissolvable or offer it in a premade shake or something like that. I have noticed an improvement in how I feel, so I would definitely recommend it to others.

Prebiotic usage

By Kelly C., Pace, FL, Verified Reviewer

I tried to drink the product with water and gagged. It doesn't dissolve well, so it needs something with a little taste. I used low-calorie Almond Milk, and I was able to drink the product. I have to shake it a lot and it still doesn't dissolve as much as I would like but I can drink it this way. I find that when I drink it for breakfast, I am not hungry for a long time.

Relief after years

By Kim M., Lafayette, LA, Verified Reviewer

I have had loose bowels for years. I tried probiotics, stayed away from some foods, drank loads of water. I have had back surgeries so every time I strained I dirtied underwater. Embarrassing to say. I tried Prebiothrive, am fixing to start the third bottle. Problem not totally solved. But much better. I can drink coffee again. And if I forget, I take it as soon as my body reminds me, and bowels correct. Thank you Steve Gundry.

Feeling good, and haven't gotten sick so far!

By Kibby M., Santa Rosa, CA, Verified Reviewer

I've been taking Prebiothrive for three weeks now, and I do feel that my energy has improved. It took a little getting used to because the drink itself does fill me up, so I'm not as hungry for breakfast, which I count on to keep me going all morning - I'm a teacher, so once the day starts I don't have time for more fuel until mid-morning. Most interesting is that despite several colds of my family members and students in my class, I've stayed healthy so far this winter. Knock on wood, and keep drinking "the glug," as my husband and I call it!
