Lectin Shield

I am still on in the second phase so I don't take the shield yet...except if I am going to a party and am afraid I will eat something I shouldn't. That has happened twice.

I am worried, Dr. Gundry, because I take an antidepressant and you wrote that if a person takes an antidepressant, then all the good bugs have certainly left.

I tried going off but my meds, but it is too soon.

I have been on the Lectin Shield for less than 30 days, but so far I have had a good experience with it. I can't wait to continue it for another month, but I will say that I have had a "suspect" meal and took this prior to that meal and didn't have any discomfort after eating my meal.

I haven't been using Lectin Shield that long, less than a month I think. The main benefit it gives me is the ability to eat foods I enjoy without the horrible feeling some of it gives me in my gut. This is important because unfortunately a lot of the recommended foods are difficult for me to find, and when I can find them, many are out of my ability to afford for any sustainable period. By having Lectin Shield, I can use foods that are affordable or easier to find but may have lectins in them.

since I have only been taking it for about two weeks, I really cannot evaluate it. A lot of your products seem to do the same thing, so how can we actually tell if they are effective. I take Prebio, Vital Reds, peak mobility and TriTrim. I wish that they could make a product that combines several of them in order to save us money, since they are always looking out for us. I like the products, but think that they have too many of them.

I have had good experiences so far with Lectin Shield. I use it periodically when I know I’ll be eating off The Plant Paradox program. Really nice to have an extra layer of protection in digestive system. I rated pretty good because I don’t use it on a regular basis.

I follow my lectin-avoidance diet very carefully because I've had quite a few so-called "autoimmune" diseases that have gone into remission. I am also a sometimes companion to a retired priest who loves to take me out to eat. That eating out used to be such a chore! Now I am able to go out with him without worrying about what I eat, and I can simply enjoy his delightful company. He has several health problems - he is legally blind, very hard of hearing, diabetic, and yet he is warmly sociable and absolutely loves to get out of the house and do almost anything with friends. My husband and I have both been taking this product for one month, and I do notice a difference! In conjunction with some of the other Dr. Gundry products, and following The Plant Paradox diet, we have both lost weight, are sleeping better, and feel better overall. I mostly cook our meals at home (from scratch), but on the occasion when we do eat out, it's a relief to know that I can take lectin shield to be protected from any lectins I may inadvertently consume.

My life partner and I were in our 4th week of Phase II of The Plant Paradox Diet when we went on a trip to Mexico. We had to eat some things that we knew where not fitting with our diet plan. Lectin Shield kept us on track with no ill effects. We are home now and progressing with our diet plan and a new healthier life.

I purchased the Lectin Shield for the benefits of helping reduce the inflammation of my joints. The surprising benefit I have noticed is that if taken just before a meal or with a meal, it is about 90% effective in eliminating the passage of gas. It seems to really help in digestion. I usually take it at least twice a day and sometimes an additional midday dose. I have even started carrying a few in my purse to take if I have a meal away from home. I take Dr. Gundry's Prebiotic and an RX Probiotic. I have eaten a diet high in fiber and have for many years but still have embarrassing gassy episodes throughout the day. Lectin Shield has reduced this greatly. I hope it is doing as good for my joints as it is for my digestive track.
