Lectin Shield

My wife and I both use Lectin Shield as well as other Dr. Gundry's products, and we see the results daily when we get on our bathroom scale. It definitely helps control our weight. Even after a huge Christmas feast, where I ate far more than I should have, the results were surprising. My weight was lower than the previous day!

I started having trouble digesting my food about a year ago and had to run to the bathroom on the spur of the moment quite often, especially in the morning/early afternoon. As soon as I started taking the Lectin Shield, it stopped immediately. I am so grateful. Also, my appetite has decreased considerably and I eat less at each meal, which is helping me to lose weight. I quit eating wheat completely, which I’m sure helps a lot too. It was difficult at first, because you can’t eat any sandwiches, but once you get used to it, you have a lot more energy. I recommend Lectin Shield to everyone, especially those having any digestive issues.

I have been a single dad for over 10 years. I learned to cook at an early age and have been cooking daily since then. I have custody of my children every other week, so I am responsible for them. As such, I have prepared meals for them and myself believing I was cooking healthy foods to keep us all healthy. I did not know or realize the problems that lectin can cause in your diet. I also did not realize how many different foods contain lectin or the amounts in the food I prepared. Until I began to read the information put out by Dr. Gundry and also follow up research from different sources, I prepared a number of dishes that were Lectin rich. I had begun to experience bloating, acid reflux and discomfort a few years back, without realizing what it was. My doctor could not tell me why I had the acid reflux, discomfort or bloating.

By happenstance, I found Dr. Gundry's page that had a video explaining the leaky gut syndrome, and I have never looked back. I have ordered a number of his products and Lectin Shield was one of them. Since I have started Lectin Shield, I have found that I have not experienced the acid reflux, bloating or discomfort I have dealt with for a number of years. I have and will continue to pass on his information to family and friends and hope they read up on his products and take the same chance I did. I believe they will achieve the same benefits I have.

Although the results are yet not on a grand scale, Lectin Shield is the first product which my wife and I nonetheless have experienced to be directly what its claims are. That's quite a collection of products to be at the top of.

Having introduced and coupled the Total Restore product to our diet and lifestyle just before the holiday season of 2018, we were impressed to see positive changes combined in the direction of their mutual claims over and above the overwhelm of the holiday season diet. We are now looking forward to even greater results with the New Year and a more normalized diet.

With select and shield, my wife and I each have noticed an obvious reduction of puffiness around our face and stomach area and hips. This was clearly a defined result of the Lectin Shield itself.

With the addition of Total Restore, a definite improvement of our sleep quality, energy, joint pain, and skin issues have been each clearly observed since the beginning of December, roughly six weeks ago now.

We are looking forward to more intense gains on a larger scale in the weeks and months to come. With Santa having left us both The Plant Paradox book and cookbook for Christmas, we are excited for achieving the results we've hoped of for decades in addition to our very active lifestyle.

I make a point of taking Shield if I know I will be eating something with lectins. That doesn’t occur often, and I’m never sure if it works. As a rule, I don’t have immediate reactions to less than optimum food choices. I keep a bottle at work and one at home. I also keep a bottle in the car for when I am eating out with friends. Generally, I eat correctly, and I think that has the biggest effect. So I am using Shield as a backup.

I would only recommend Shield to someone who is committed to this way of eating. It is expensive and most of my friends would be skeptical and unable to spend that much money on something I can’t guarantee is having a measurable effect.

Lectin Sheild seems to reduce the amount of nausea I sometimes feel after I eat breakfast. Because it's not eliminating it, I've added Total Restore every morning, which is making more of a difference. It's hard to know what GundryMD product to use as they all seem to claim the same benefits - better digestion, better skin, weight loss, etc. When the Lectin Shield runs out I won't re-order it, but simply continue with the Total Restore, hoping it will address the problem more directly, which I believe to be leaky gut. Practically speaking, I can't afford to continue taking both products.

I received my order of Lectin Shield. Instead of two pills, I've taken one pill during my meals. The first day I took one pill with supper. The next morning I experienced intestinal distress and diarrhea. Since I have digestive issues, I thought maybe it just takes time. Second day I took two capsules and felt terrible the next day. But I still took one pill with lunch and one pill with supper. My abdomen swelled up and I felt like I could puke. I went to bed with a bucket next to my bed in case I threw up. This morning my guts still hurt and I had mild diarrhea! This is not the results I had hoped for. I'm not allergic to shellfish. I am laying around with a painful gut and getting nothing done.

Before Lectin Shield, I excluded many foods. Now, I feel confident with Lectin Shield, to include and enjoy some of my old favorites. The differences I noticed taking Lectin Shield has been that old favorites now do not zap my energy after eating them. Also, now I do not gain three or four pounds after eating those favs, I only gain maybe one pound and the next day even that is gone.

I am 61 and have Celiac Disease, with a dairy and soy allergy. After being gluten, soy and mostly dairy free for seven years, I have really felt no better. I suffered from weight gain, brain fog, swollen and painful joints, leg cramps, exhaustion, some stomach issues and, interestingly, a red and swollen tongue. Until I found Lectin Shield! I noticed a difference instantly! Even without removing all lectins. I’m trying every day to weed out as many lectins from my diet that I can, but I know that Lectin Shield will do its job with the rest! I’m hoping soon to see a weight change. I know I must be diligent about my diet for this to happen. I also purchased The Plant Paradox, The Plant Paradox Summary, and The Plant Paradox Cookbook. All, I think, are necessary to be successful in this lifestyle. Thank you, Dr. Grundy! I’ll always be indebted to you!

Lectin Shield has been a game changer for me. Although I have cut back on the high lectin foods, it is hard to completely avoid lectins. That’s where this product has made a difference. I just take two with my meal and I don’t have the bloating and gas that had become a regular part of my life. Usually, by the evening my stomach was distended and uncomfortable. Not anymore when I use Lectin Shield!

This product causes your stomach to swell with really bad GI problems. Also, I bought six bottles and just halfway completed the second bottle thinking GI problems would stop...didn’t happen! So I tried to get a refund for the other four bottles and was told it was beyond 90 days. Advice, buy only one bottle due to the flawed refund, even if you save with quantity. They say take this product for at least, yes more than, 30 days or more to truly see results. I also broke out in a rash. I’m not allergic to anything based on a recent medical evaluation. I am a very overweight person, so maybe for those with only less than 30 or so lbs it works, who knows. Not recommended either way, especially the refund being so flawed.
