Lectin Shield helps

By AnnMarie H., Princeville, HI, Verified Reviewer

I am a real estate broker and have to take my clients out to dinner often. I rely on Lectin Shield to help me with the hidden and not hidden lectins in my dish. My autoimmune condition is lung congestion and dry and wet cough with mucus coughing up. I find the Lectin Shield has helped keep my cough at bay.

However, I must tell you that I ate a small, just 1/2 pumpkin Halloween muffin yesterday (it was a gift, and I couldn't resist but only ate half) with two Lectin Shields and I woke up in the night and coughed up serious mucus. I adhered perfectly to the program yesterday except for that muffin. I was hoping the Lectin Shield would vaccinate me against any harm, but that is not what happened. It could be that pumpkin wheat and sugar was just too much of a lectin bomb for my system to handle, but regardless of that incident, I am a die-hard Gundry MD fan as Dr. Gundry was the only ONLY resource that helped cure a serious 9-month cough I out of the blue acquired at 53 years old.

I adhere to the diet religiously and tell everyone I know that is suffering autoimmune symptoms about it. I am an avid consumer of their Lectin Shield, Prebiothrive, chocolate heart stuff, Primal Plants and Vital Reds. I've recently tried the supplements for joints and have not noticed a huge improvement yet, but I do a lot of yoga anyway, so maybe my joints are pretty good without it.

Keep up the good work! You are helping lots of people just like me.

Dr. Gundry products are a Godsend

By Sjana A., Winchester, CA, Verified Reviewer

For years I have battled with health issues and chronic stomach issues. I have had surgeries to remedy some of the problems but to no avail. Lectin Shield has really helped me with my severe stomach issues. I no longer have to take prescription medications for acid reflux and persistent burning in my stomach. I am still taking prescribed medications to help me with my IBS with chronic constipation. I pray that one day all of these issues and my other health issues will be resolved! I pray that I can continue to purchase Dr. Gundry's products because they are a godsend, however, they are very very expensive.

Great product. Great results!

By Chuck C., Virginia, Verified Reviewer

I tried everything to get my stomach back on track. Then I discovered Dr. Gundry's Lectin Shield. The first couple of days I did not notice any real change, but by the end of the first week, I saw a complete change. I have now been on the Lectin Shield for four months and am super happy with my results. No bloating, gas or diarrhea after eating certain vegetables. My wife is now taking the Lectin Shield as well.

I recommended this product to my family and friends. Well worth the cost.

Lectin Shield

By Elaine P., Portage, MI, Verified Reviewer

I haven't noted anything negative, but it is probably not enough time to prove its worth yet. It's been only been a couple of weeks. I am looking forward to discovering a difference in my body.

Lectin Shield vacation

By Gianna M., Washington, Verified Reviewer

Lectin Shield really helped me when I chaperoned my daughter's school trip across the country. There were limited food options for people with allergies or food restrictions, so it really helped me on the trip!

My only challenge was I felt like I would have minor mood swings when I ate out of the ordinary, even taking my Lectin Shield.

Lectin Shield definitely helped me when there were limited food options.

Tummy troubles

By Mary F., Louisville, KY, Verified Reviewer

My stomach hurt, bloated, gas. I started on the Lectin Shield and my stomach is feeling better. My bloating is much better, I can actually go somewhere when before I stayed home because of the pain and bloating of my stomach. If you are having tummy problems, try Lectin Shield.

Use of Lectin Shield while eating a Plant Paradox themed diet.

By Chuck H., Alberta, Canada, Verified Reviewer

As described, my use of Lectin Shield was to supplement The Plant Paradox diet. I went down the road to use the plan because of growing joint pain and problems losing weight. I had and continued to commit to an exercise plan that focused on weight-bearing exercise to develop and maintain muscle mass to fight against loss (I'm 61). My shoulder, neck and finger pain from arthritis was making this way more difficult and had stopped me from doing bench presses in the past. The diet and staying on it (predominantly) helped my pain to the point where all I experienced was stiffness occasionally. Using Lectin Shield has kept the pain away unless my whole diet has turned away from the plan for days or even a week.

This Christmas season has seen the first real off-plan eating for four months for me. I can say that the pain has stayed away - but I'll need to get back to the plan to feel my best again. Just a footnote (but still very relevant) is the fact that I had been walking 10,000 steps a day three times a week and doing bench presses, deadlifts and squats (as well as push pulls overhead, and farmer's walks) for a year with no weight loss - not even a pound. When I went on the plan and using Lectin Shield, I lost (and kept off, even over Christmas!) 13 pounds in four months. People have remarked about my changes in weight and my skin tone. It has been a satisfying and very welcome change to my day to day life - especially in these cold months in Canada.

Lectin Shield review

By Shawn C., Kansas, Verified Reviewer

I ordered Lectin Shield in December 2018, along with six months worth of a slew of other Gundry products that I use on a regular basis (Heart Defense, Vital Reds, Primal Plants). I am having difficulty making this product a part of a regular routine. Because you take the product before eating your two largest meals of the day, I find that unless I carry a bottle with me consistently, I forget to use it when I am away from home. I plan to come up with a plan for using Lectin Shield consistently in 2019.

It is hard to pinpoint results

By Judy C., Peoria, AZ, Verified Reviewer

I make a point of taking Shield if I know I will be eating something with lectins. That doesn’t occur often, and I’m never sure if it works. As a rule, I don’t have immediate reactions to less than optimum food choices. I keep a bottle at work and one at home. I also keep a bottle in the car for when I am eating out with friends. Generally, I eat correctly, and I think that has the biggest effect. So I am using Shield as a backup.

I would only recommend Shield to someone who is committed to this way of eating. It is expensive and most of my friends would be skeptical and unable to spend that much money on something I can’t guarantee is having a measurable effect.

Helpful with reservations

By Olivia K., Sonoma, CA, Verified Reviewer

Lectin Sheild seems to reduce the amount of nausea I sometimes feel after I eat breakfast. Because it's not eliminating it, I've added Total Restore every morning, which is making more of a difference. It's hard to know what GundryMD product to use as they all seem to claim the same benefits - better digestion, better skin, weight loss, etc. When the Lectin Shield runs out I won't re-order it, but simply continue with the Total Restore, hoping it will address the problem more directly, which I believe to be leaky gut. Practically speaking, I can't afford to continue taking both products.
