Vile, disgusting company. Scam artists, won't refund my money after more than three months. Dismissive, horrible customer service that pretends they are dealing with your refund but oh so wrong. I rejected Livia at customs due to the ridiculous customs fees that were not clearly stated. This company should be shut down. Lucky I'm getting a refund for fraud from Amex.

I bought the Livia device on the 4th of January for $199. The company advertised a 30-day money back guarantee. I decided after a couple of days when the order was taking too long to ship that I wanted to cancel the order.

I first contacted Livia on the 8th of January 2019 to inform the company I wanted to cancel the order. The order was still in the processing stage and I had a 30-day money back guarantee so I assumed the order could be canceled.

I received a reply asking me to reconsider and was offered a free "skin" as compensation for the delay in shipping time. This tells me that there was plenty of time to amend the order. I replied that I did not want the free skin and that I wanted my order canceled.

I was told that my order "would be canceled and you will be refunded in 30 days."

I then received another email on the same day asking me to reconsider again and was told I could "split the order" to get it to ship faster. Which once again proves the company had time to cancel the order. I refused once more and was told that "you will be refunded within 30 business days starting from the date of order cancelation." Which means I should have received the refund by the 20th of February.

On the 10th of January, I received a shipping notification. I immediately contacted Livia and informed them of the issue and was told that the order had indeed been shipped out. I was then provided a tracking number and told to refuse the parcel on delivery. I was told it should take 10-14 days delivery time.

I refused the parcels delivery on the 1st of February 2019 at the post office.

It has now been 28 days since I returned the parcel and the company is still claiming they do not have the parcel and therefore will not refund my money until the package arrives.

I have read similar bad reviews on Amazon and stupidly ignored them. This company will make your life hell trying to get money back and may well claim they don't receive a parcel in order to not have to pay you the money.

I am so upset, stressed and frustrated that a company believes they can treat their customers like this. Please trust me and spend your money on a different (cheaper) tens devise elsewhere unless you are sure you will not want to take part of the 30-day money back. Please read other reviews like mine and think carefully before purchasing so you don't end up scammed out of $200 like me.

I bought this in January, it didn't work for me, returned it in February. They said they received it. We are now in JUNE and I STILL haven't received my refund! Their customer service is a joke. They promise they'll refund the money, but they never do. I've emailed them about 20 times not.

By the way, Livia is just a glorified expensive TENS UNIT. You can literally buy the same thing on eBay for less than a quarter of the price.

I'm currently filing a dispute with PayPal.

I bought this product and it did not work for me. I sent it right back exactly as instructed to get my refund in February. I am still waiting. Every time I contact them they say they are rushing it right through. This is the closest thing to a scam I have been involved with.

I was supposed to get a refund no later than March. It's now July and I still haven't gotten my money back. They just keep saying they've refunded me even though my bank confirmed that they haven't. THIS IS A SCAM.

Living with endometriosis and ovarian cysts is painful and at times overwhelming. Pain pills are no longer an option as they have caused so much internal damage from taking them for years and years. Livia was a drug-free option that I was open to trying and has made day-to-day live easier and more bearable for me.

I was very excited when I heard about Livia. I only have pain during the first day of menstruation but it is really intense and I can barely walk without painkillers. Since my meds can cause pretty bad side effects, I was euphoric testing Livia.

Shipping took very long, and I also had to pay a lot of tax fees.

The device helps me to a very little extent.

Let's say from a scale from 1-10 my pain is an 8.5, and with Livia, it reduces to 7-7.5.

I mostly use it when I don't have to go out of the house, but for work or even everyday activities like cleaning up, it doesn't help me enough.

But at least I can lay in bed without taking painkillers. That's more or less what it does for me. Maybe it's even just placebo, I don't know. But from my experience, it helps a LITTLE bit but not enough to function in everyday life.

Another bad point is that the higher settings feel quite uncomfortable and, depending on your position, even hurt.

I still use it but would not purchase it again.

Livia helped me a lot. I was not able to function for the first two days of my period before Livia, private or at work. I became resistant on all painkillers; I was taking so much that I was getting sick. Livia is discrete under my scrubs and I can finally cope with 13-hour shifts. I would recommend the product to anyone who has painful periods to improve quality of life, and I will definitely use this as long as I can.

I was on the fence with this product for a year before I finally took the plunge and bought it. I’ve struggled with period pain since I first started my period. Since having my daughter, my cramps have only gotten worse...their like labor pains all over again. I was desperate and finally bought the Livia device. BEST DECISION I EVER MADE! I only wish I had made it sooner. Within 10 minutes my pain is gone and rather than lasting 3-4 days, it only lasts 1-2. This product does wonders for period pain and I highly recommend to it to anyone that struggles with painful periods!

This is the best product in existence. I don't have endometriosis but I do experience painful cramps and this has helped tremendously. I've read reviews and it doesn't work for everybody, but also you might not be putting the pedals in the right spot, it takes some time to get used to...but now I don't have to call out of work or take an excessive amount of Advil. It does get annoying that you have to adjust the pedals to target the pain, but that's not so serious.

I am extremely grateful my mother bought this for me. I have also recommended to my boss's daughter, I'm not sure if she wound up buying it, but I will recommend to anyone who has painful or stubborn period cramps. I also heard you can use it on back pain, which I haven't tried yet but I will! And customer service is awesome - I reached out on Instagram and they responded. Most companies don't usually care or care to respond, so I was happy they acknowledged. Thank you so much, Livia.

I have always had the worst cramps. I’m talking in bed, keeled over, thinking I’m going into labor bad. Last month, a friend of mine brought over these amazing gel pads one morning and told me "you have to try my Livia," and I don’t think I can ever be without it! Literally. EVER.
