The product was leaking when I received it, and it sprayed out too much at one time and was leaking all over my hand, and made a huge mess. And you have to pay for shipping it back, that is not right. Never again will I order from this company, it's a rip-off.

I ordered the Luminess Air silk makeup and machine. First I received the old Luminess makeup machine, not the new one advertised on TV. The old machine requires a lot more makeup drips than what was advertised with the new machine. Second, I’m not sure if I received old makeup or what, but I never had the coverage results as the women did in any video I watched from their website or from the TV ads. As a result, I would not recommend buying this system.

First off, I bought mine on QVC or HSN (I forgot which one). But it was only $99 for the complete set in rose gold (new model bought 10/17) with two foundation makeup, blush, and highlighter.

Once I got it, I went online to the Luminous site and the shopping site to watch and listen carefully to the videos. It's not a hard system to use, but you have to view the videos if you've never used one; it's very helpful and makes learning it a breeze.

All in all, it is well worth it. It takes me seconds to put on my air makeup. I do choose to use a face primer first, FYI. I also use the Luminous blush as well. A few practices and for me getting the right color, which I did by mixing the makeups I got in fair, was fantastic. I'm 52 and if I can be a pro with this system anyone can. I am not into makeup and fuss that goes with it. That is why I got it; easy and the makeup is light on my skin the way I like it. My skin looks great.

Again, give yourself a couple of minutes to watch the videos and tips, find your foundation mix that is good for you, and practice 2-3 times.

I tried this product from a special offered on the sprayer and basic products. I called to say that I had an allergic reaction. The customer service (the first one) was nice and professional. He refunded my last charge of $30. Then I received a charge of $50+ from Luminess.

I called for a second time and spoke with a rude, sarcastic man. I was traveling, and they deducted that amount two more times.

I had to cancel my credit card and have received threats from Luminess daily. Currently, I have a complaint in with my bank.

If I had no skin issues, I would not have continued. I am quite adept with make-up but could not get the results they showed.

Try Christian Dior spray. Quality and honesty.

I quit using the product because it was difficult to get full coverage quickly and the product emphasized lines. Too expensive, slow delivery, and inferior products were only worth one star. Not worth any investment whatsoever!

I ordered this some time ago. I haven't used it in over a year, maybe two. When I did try using it, the stylus never worked right. It would sputter and spit and make the makeup look like wall spackle. I called and exchanged the stylus three times and every single one of them worked exactly the same, spit and sputtered. After complaining every time I tried using it, I finally just stopped using it. I never got a refund. That's alot of money for something that doesn't work correctly! Easier just to buy drugstore foundation and apply with a beauty blender! Looks fantastic and no wall spackle look!

It is a COMPLETE SCAM! I was unhappy with the product after using it, so I returned it, with all the system and make-up in the SAME BOX. I was credited around $75 for the makeup but not the system, and since my installment payment was declined, they reported it negatively to the credit bureaus. What's funny is they claim they never received the actual airbrush system itself, and since I was unable to provide them with a receipt or tracking number from the post office, they claim it wasn't received. How could that be, when they received and credited me for makeup THAT WAS IN THE SAME BOX AS THE SYSTEM?

I called SEVERAL times to get this resolved, was treated like I was an idiot, as well as spoken to in a very condescending tone. I reported them to the BBB, and hope I see results.

I purchased the whole kit a few years back, even though my skin tone is light, the light makeup did not cover as expected, it also does not help fine lines or wrinkles, and I instead needed one up (medium). Also, after a few months, I started having problems with the sprayer not working, locking up or overspray, and I did keep it very clean as recommended. But I could not get it replaced or would they help me in exchange, or even send me new parts. But because it does make your skin silkier, I decided to purchase a second one, after a few months once again I started having problems with spray head, as I started looking around for a replacement parts, I found that not only does everyone else offer the same kits for 20%-50% cheaper, their machines work and last much longer, the makeup seems a darker shade, not to mention a better warranty and replacement parts. Amazon offers the whole kit for $99 and will exchange any parts for the first year. I was able to replace the whole spray head for only $28.00.

Unless you plan on keeping this product even if you don't like it, do NOT order it. Their "so-called" 30-day money back guarantee is not that at all. You will NOT receive the $19.95 back. You're paying that to test the product. I have NEVER heard of a company charging a customer for trying their product. Well, this company does. Plus, I inadvertently ordered additional make-up because I wasn't aware the make-up came with the product. So, I had to pay for that as well. And when I called customer service to get the RA number, she wouldn't give me the number after I asked numerous times because she said I had paid to test the product so I should use it until my 30-day trial period was up. Women may like this product but the business practices of Luminess Cosmetics are deceitful. So, I paid $57.93 to receive this and now I have to ensure the package to return it to them because I frankly don't trust that they're going to say they received it undamaged. Ladies, read the fine print before ordering this. I obviously was stupid when I took the large print on the website to mean what it says: 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee.

Every time I called to return the machine, I got hung up on. After 30 having issues to return. Scam.

Machine sucks, doesn't work. Makeup does cover, looks caked on. Nothing at all how commercial states.

So I have been using Luminess Air for about seven months now. Their product is simple to use and works fairly well with my skin. I am (was) on the auto-ship and today I received my order, and one bottle was busted. I called customer service to let them know they said they will replace the bottle for a processing fee. Now I have already paid for the product and didn't feel I needed to pay a processing fee for something that came to me busted.

So I explained that and he keeps trying to ask me if I have tried all this other stuff and to smooth things over. I told him I didn't want something free, I just didn't think I should have to pay a processing fee. He persisted and got me to the point that I got aggravated. So I just told him to remove me from any more shipments and I didn't want the product anymore.
