Don't order the wrong shade

Don't make a mistake and order the wrong shade, because this makeup is not returnable, EVEN if it is not opened. Of course, they don't tell you that when you are ordering. I bought the wrong shade, and it was a $76 lesson learned. I will not purchase from this company again.

Scam

I actually like the product, but they set you up with little information. You need to read the fine print where it's not $19.99, it is over $100.00 because after 30 days they start billing payments and sending out product.

Scam

I ordered the product and nowhere did I see anything that said you were renting it for $20.00. But after trying it for a few days my face itched terribly and broke out. It is a 30-day satisfaction guarantee, so I got the RA number that you have to have to return it, and it was then they tell me not only do I not receive my money back, but I also have to pay return shipping for it! This is a total SCAM! I will NEVER recommend this to anyone, as a matter of fact, I will warn people not to fall for it!

Broken/old

I was so excited to finally get this in the mail as a Christmas gift from my daughter, only to be let down when the "stylist" handheld unit that is supposed to spray out the makeup sputtered out the foundation! Obviously, I was sent a used/defective product, not to mention the foundation they sent me looked old, cracked, and the color was separating in the bottles and had a moldy scent!

Horrible experience. Too good to be true. Rip off.

Buyer beware!

What they don’t tell you upfront is that it cost $250! I used this airbrush machine, and the makeup that came with it was not flattering to my skin at all. I called to return, and the sales lady talked me into trying a different color, so I waited three weeks for it to arrive. I tried it and really don’t like the whole system. I never could get it to spray evenly. It clogged up, got makeup everywhere and put it up.

I called again to return it, and there’s a voicemail that says they will call me back. They never did. Then here come charges on my credit card in the total of $250. I am stuck with this expensive piece of crap.

I would never recommend this unless you’ve just got money to burn. Thank you.

Scam

I purchased the machine at the advertised price of $29. Or so I thought. Several pages of small print in attached terms stated otherwise. I did not read the dozen or so pages of small print.

I have since been charged nearly $1000!

I requested very early on that they stop sending me their makeup and asked for a refund. They wrote me in December to say that they would provide a full refund and discontinue further billing.

They are LIARS! They did NOT provide a refund and continued to bill me! Total scam!

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Don't like

I bought the first Luminess and I was very disappointed. None of the colors were right for my skin type, and it always looks blotches no matter how much I do or as little. I feel like I wasted my money and am too scared to try the new one. I am on disability and I have MS so I can't afford a new one.

Terrible customer service

I have never been so displeased with a company. The product does not look or work like they say. Upon returning, I had three charges on my account. I had to call and dispute for a refund. I do not recommend anyone to order this, merely on the reason that they charge your credit card even when have the product returned.

Not a happy camper!

I ordered the Luminous Air product in December, before my son's wedding. When I started working with it, I found that it required much more physical product than the two drops they recommended. The makeup was 'cakey and dry' on my skin, and after a couple of weeks, I decided it was not going to work for me. I called to return it, and the sales rep suggested I try a different type of foundation and offered to send it. She said many women like this product better, which begs the question, "why send us the first cakey product at all?"

I tried the new make up and didn't like either the texture or the color match and decided the whole airbrush experience wasn't for me. I called to get return instructions and did exactly as they required, and asked to be discontinued as a customer. They credited my card for $42.94. Great! But the next month, another charge on my credit card. When I called, they told me my request came in too late to stop the billing (conveniently, for them).

The next month, another billing! I called again, and the rep told me that they couldn't stop my membership without a tracking number from the shipment I sent back (they didn't tell me they needed the tracking number when I called for return information). She assured me that I wouldn't get another billing.

Guess what? This month, another billing! I called again, and they said they have no record of me returning the product, so I needed to pay this final payment to complete the 3-month payment schedule. I gave this rep the name of the rep and the date I called the previous month, and he said, "she must have given you inaccurate information" WHAT? He said they still had no way of knowing if I sent the product back (check your warehouse!)

I tracked my credit card statements and "no," they did not give me credit for the trial period. I don't know if they are a reputable company when they are lying to their customers. I am SO DONE with them. Very frustrated and disappointed.

Rude customer service lady

Well, my package was returned today due to that fact I had put a PO Box address on it. The system allowed it to be put there. So my package was returned. I paid for the 2-day shipping and called to get my refund. I got into an argument with the lady about getting my money back and to have another package sent. I requested a supervisor after argument. The floor supervisor said they had to receive the package back into the warehouse before they could send me my package, in meantime, they have my money and are withholding my package. Now, mind you, it takes 5 days for them to get it back to their warehouse. Why is no one looking at the orders before they are going out? They know their process and that FedEx does not deliver to PO Boxes. How am I supposed to know it's coming until the email. Really.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Misleading charges

I purchased the product via a commercial which stated a $39 price. A month later after $42 was taken, I received my product minus the free gift (it was out of stock). A month after that a charge for $36.72 was charged to my card. I called the number and was told the product was actually $131 and the first charge wasn't the price (although it says that), it was the first payment. Of course, they refunded all my charges and gave me a 30-day free trial and if I like it I can start the three payments. This is clearly a "make you buy our product" scam.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
