I went in today to request a freeze on my account as I am having my right knee completely replaced on July 7th. I will be unable to use the gym for the month of July but want to resume my workouts in mid-August. I was informed by the girl behind the desk that I would need a note from my doctor for her to do this! WHAT? I need my surgeon to give me permission to pause my account for just one month? I have to have him take time out of his busy day to write a letter to my gym telling them that I’m not lying and that I will need to not work out for a month due to having my knee replaced. This is a service that I pay for, that I choose to use. I was shocked, to say the least, and canceled my account. I will not be going back and will be sure to advise others to do the same.

Made up with my gym. Talked it out. Long story short, I was being difficult and I wanted to undo any damage I did. Great customer service. Staff is extremely nice and helpful. Disregard my older one-star review. Convenient location. Not too crowded in the morning, and no gym jerks so far. I like the Planet Fitness crowd a lot more than Gold's Gym or VASA. 24 Hour Fitness is kind of a mix between Gold's and Planet if you want a nice middle ground.

Love it here so far!

I used to like going to the gym in Bossier City, LA. But now it's a dangerous place to be. The governor of LA mandates face covering in public places, but they won't enforce it in Planet Fitness. Now they say you have to wear a mask unless in an active work out. That means, if you are standing around doing nothing, must wear a mask. Otherwise, it doesn't matter. They are more worked about memberships than our safety. I'm really disappointed in these people. I love working out, but going to Planet Fitness is very dangerous now! Sad. Money is more important than human life to them.

I was asked to be a guest to one of your locations and your gym was open during the shut down here in Michigan. None of the employees were wearing a face covering and no one is doing the social distance of 6 feet. The gym is always crowded. I cannot be in a place were it is unsafe and someone in there might have the covid 19. I will look for another place.

I have seen Richard fire the people who work for him that really care about the gym and the members. I have been going to the gym for 35 years and have never seen such disrespect for his employees. We built a community of beautiful people and now that has been destroyed, so much ugliness for a dollar, so I'm going to join Crunch gym tomorrow.

No trainer on site, haven't had a trainer in quite a while. Instructors just tell you to use the app, which has beginner workouts but no specific plans if you have certain goals. The staff is rude and hateful, and if you ask questions they don't like they will get mad and threaten you. I tried contacting corporate and emailed the owner about the staff's attitude but they have yet to respond or contact me about my concerns. I do not recommend this gym to anyone. Also, their perks, such as massage chairs, angel machines, and tanning beds, are always broken.

I did not want to leave the gym, the Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania Planet Fitness. After being relentlessly made to feel uncomfortable, humiliated, harassed, and bullied, I left.

I was stared at, texted about, right in front of my face. Watched in a neighboring parking lot. And the employee called or texted other employees inside the gym, telling them, she wasn't coming in because I was. I never disturbed her, or her boyfriend in the gym.

The owner never contacted me.
