Overall, my experience has been good. There was one little hiccup on my first application when Quicken contacted me about income and then said they would get back with me to see if they needed income for a refinance. The gentlemen never contacted me again. Fortunately, my refi rep called me and we were able to restart the process.

I dealt with some really good, really professional people. I also dealt with some people that did not seem to grasp what a large, complex, and important purchase a house can be for a person. We had more than one time where the ball was dropped due to incomplete communication or just plain old clerical errors done by other departments. At the end of it, I never felt the mistakes were taken seriously by quicken as a company.

I requested phone calls instead of just relying on the portal for tasks I needed to complete, and they were most helpful in that regard. We refinanced with Rocket. The process was simple and easy and I love that we didn't have to drive and inconvenience ourselves to get information or paperwork to someone by a specific day or time.

The website is easy to navigate and all you do is upload any documents that they need. They tell you what is needed and the website keeps a log of everything that you upload and the documents that they have you look at and sign.

At closing, the agent comes to you! At a time and place you choose...whether it be at home, workplace, coffee shop.

The experience we had with Rocket was by far so much better and less stressful than our first closing.

Working in Punic accounting, I’ve assisted over 150 people in all walks of life with the mortgage process as they worked with banks or brokers. Every time the clients were always frustrated with the process. The experience we had with Rocket/Quicken was the best experience I have ever been aware. Our banker Tyson was on point from the beginning and really made a difference and checking in the app twice a day helped keep things moving. Recommend letting them verify your income as it saves time. Ours was a refinance and we closed less than 30 days from when I started.

Overall the experience was positive. The process was easy as it was all online. It was easy to get in touch with someone with the company and they were very helpful. The only negative thing I can say is that the notary at closing made rude comments about our child during the closing appointment.

Otherwise, we had a good experience and would definitely use the service again, just with a different closing notary.
