Great customer service!

I did not go through with my aligners because the plan was not realistic for me. However, I did want to write a good review for my Smile Guides, Yaritza and Sami! They did an amazing job taking me through the process!

Adjust for of aligners

I had ordered aligners a year ago, but returned all, inside of left bottom protruded way out. A molding problem. They were great on accepting the return and refund money. Ordered again. Just received aligners. Both top and bottoms have excess plastic along the bottom of tooth mold, on the inside, perpendicular to the tooth. Bothers and hurts my tongue.

Tried filling, but found I could very carefully cut with sizzles the excess plastic, leaving a small edge along the tooth molded shape. No sharp edge now. So I will check each set of aligners, and get rid of excess plastic. They are very comfortable now. You just have to be very careful cutting, leaving a little edge to support the molded shape.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

SmileDirectClub SmileBus

My SmileDirectClub SmileBus experience was very quick and pleasant. When I got there I signed in on an iPad with my email and then the appointment started. Ryan (SmileGuide), the dental assistant, was very nice and answered all my questions that I had. He made the scan process quick and easy with his steady hands and his prior dental knowledge and know-how. Ryan and the rest of his team were welcoming and made the whole appointment "quick and painless". Bus 1, Williamsburg, VA.

Mixed feelings

Started my journey with SmileDirect in February of 2018, after several tries on satisfying modes, receive my 6-month supply of correctors. May 7th I started. They said they would alert me when to change to the next set, at first they were there, but that changed no more alerts. I was pleased with the corrections that were happening, October 21st was my final finished date, but I was not happy with my number 7 tooth, hadn’t turned as much as I would have liked, new scan was done and received 3 months of correctors. After those months, my dentist said it would be best to do a crown on number 7 tooth. On July 8th I received my crown, after returning from a vacation end of July, went to have my final scan done on August 30th, still waiting. They said the retainers were delivered September 17, but not here. Reordered on October 3rd, they sent a top only from a scan that was done in January, October 21st. October 31st talked with someone higher up and said no problem, we’ll get them ordered. November 19 called and the gal said there was nothing on order. The gal never ordered the retainer. So on November 19th ordered again. Calling every week to make sure it’s on order, November 27 and December 5.

So I am still waiting for my retainers from a scan done August 30th.

I am very pleased with the results which I am nursing my last set carefully until my retainer gets here, hopefully next week.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Still smiling: SmileDirect, simple, affordable, results

I started my treatment in May 2019 and finished in October 2019. My initial appointment/free scan at the office in Ajax, Ontario, Canada was awesome, very professional, informative and reassuring. My aligners shipped earlier than promised, they came with simple clear instructions, whitening treatments, and a few other goodies/surprises. The aligners were easy to use and no one at my workplace even noticed I was wearing them. Now that my treatment is complete, I am beyond happy with my results as they have exceeded my expectations both in terms of the results of my smile and the service I have received throughout the process. I wish to thank SmileDirectClub for providing this service and offering a payment plan, without it, I would not have been able to afford treatment. Thank you sincerely, Allison (my nickname at work is Smiley!).

Return visit for renewed smile via refinement

I stopped wearing my retainer this past summer, in May, and have seen some movement back to my old smile.

It was my fault to stop and so I’m back to having a new scan to get my refinement.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and professional.

No issues with anything at all.

Looking forward to the new aligners in a few months.

AWFUL

I bought the aligners as a gift for my boyfriend in December 2018.

I paid online in full, and I gave the associate that took the 3D impressions a $100 off coupon (because that’s what the coupon said to do), which was never taken off the total.

The worst part is, the video they sent about what your smile will look like at the end, showed his front teeth pulled together leaving a big gap between them and the back teeth.

That was before we even got any aligners.

And now that all the sets have been worn, his teeth now actually look like that.

After the 3D impressions were sent off, the aligners came in 2 weeks, which surprised us, because she said it would take longer.

No wonder why.

In one of the earlier weeks, a pair didn’t fit right, they were too tight. We called/emailed customer service but they said they’d need pictures. How about no...you’re the ones that rushed through the process and made the mistake, waste your own time and payroll to trackback and fix it. Plus, in the box during the 4th month, there were 2 weeks with sets of tops only.

I just told him to wear the old set of bottoms and hope that the next actual complete set would fit. We were only a few weeks out from being done with it altogether, no way we were going to wait another 4+ weeks for replacements.

I felt bad for saving up the money, trying to give my boyfriend a smile he’d be proud of, and he still isn’t. How could he be? I was also foolish enough to purchase retainers in November 2019 for $200, because he can’t wear the last pair of aligners forever.

The representative said they were doing a buy 2 get 1 free promotion. I asked why he’d need more than 1 retainer, she said they’re only supposed to last 6 months.

What a rip off to keep getting money from people. I’ve been waiting for about 6 weeks now...I bet they won’t even fit his teeth. They just took the payment, I haven’t received a confirmation or a tracking number that they were even shipped.

Look at all of the negative reviews. Don’t waste your money.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
