Still don't have my boots

I ordered boots from Tecovas on December 6th. They were sized incorrectly and I returned them for a smaller size. I mailed them back on December 7th and SEVEN weeks later still don't have the smaller size.

I have received almost no communication from Tecovas other than constant advertising for their products.

I guess these are nice boots....if you can get them to send you a pair.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Would not recommend

Boots looked great but started coming apart after wearing them outside. Great around the house but don't go outside. Sent company 3 emails with pictures of the sole separating from the boot. No response. Very disappointed. I will take them to a cobbler tomorrow to see if they can be repaired. These Nash lizard boots are 2 weeks old.

Really bad customer service

Bought a pair of boots which came damaged, did an exchange and got another damaged pair. Needed them for a specific date so I told them I need them soon so they said they would overnight them. First off, I was already mad they sent me 2 damaged pair, second, the lady had the worst attitude. Fast forward, I never got my boots so when I called she said the lady never even processed them. Not sure if they were trying to scam me, either way, will never shop here again.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Bad customer service

This company is one of the worst companies I have ever done business with. Customer service, they never answer you, they ship a pair of boots via FedEx and it goes to Charlotte in North Carolina, I live in Southern California. Why are the boots going to the East Coast when I live on the West Coast? When I email to find out why, no one ever answers me. If I put a stop payment on the payment of the boot, they would surely contact me. Looks to me like they only worry about money, not the customer.

Don't waste your valuable time!

A little background, I ordered the original pair of boots on 12/28/2020, I was told it would be about 10 days for delivery. I received a shipping notice that my boots were on the way, but when they didn't show up, I called customer service. They said they would look into it, they probably did. They got back to me and said FedEx lost the package. Really? OK, so they shipped another pair. So, back and forth emails, the totals are this, 10 failed delivery dates, 1 day they said they attempted delivery (lie, we have a camera at the end of our driveway). Today, they said they delivered the package (another lie). Now FedEx is doing an "investigation".

You could say that this isn't Tecovas' fault. But I asked them to find another delivery company and was told that I may need to change my address. Really? To what? I've not had any issues with deliveries before, as a matter of fact, FedEx delivered other items to my home today, less the boots of course.

As the title says, don't waste your valuable time, especially if you live rurally. I've wasted well over 8 hours dedicated to this issue with no signs of relief. Your items will conveniently come up missing. I can only hope I can get my money returned. But if it's anything like the boots, good luck!

Don't buy the Ostrich

These boots were a disappointment from the start. I have never stopped using a pair of boots because they look so bad. I just shine them and go. These have a lot of life and just sit in my closet looking ugly.

Customer disservice

Received a pair of Tecovas as a gift. They were too big and the right size was out of stock. Waited, and finally got a notice that they were in. Went to do the exchange and they said sorry, OOS again. Got another notice, and the exchange went through. Sent boots back only to get a notice that the replacement was OOS. Customer service promised to help and eventually let me know they’d be sending the replacement. A week later, no boots. Sorry, OOS again! This time when I contacted them they just processed a refund to the gift giver! Now I’ve got nothing but a bad taste.

Length of Use: Less than 3 months

Poor customer service

I placed an order originally for the alligator boots from Tecova under the pretense that I was receiving a free belt with my order. I was told because I am fat and wear a size 50 belt I was not entitled to a free belt with the purchase of the alligator boots. I called customer service and spoke to Leslie the manager who told me I was not entitled to the belt because they do not carry that size for fat people. I told Leslie to cancel my order. Do not do business with Tecovas, their customer service is poor and I would never order from them again.

Horrible shipping

I purchased a pair of boots and they were shipped via FedEx (only option). FedEx said arrival on Sunday. I stayed home so I would not have my boots stolen off my porch. Sunday passed without delivery. The website then said delivery Monday. FedEx truck drives by the house with no delivery. I called FedEx and they stated delivery would be before 5pm and that driver would call me.

Anyways the boots never came. They were listed as being in their local distribution center for two days now. I call Tuesday morning and now FedEx says all they have is an empty box and that I have to call Tecovas.

I call and explain and am put on hold for an extended time. Meanwhile, the Tecovas rep reordered the boots with the same FedEx since that is all they use. I did not want to reorder but to cancel and get refund. I’m then told by another rep that the boots have to be shipped out then they will ask FedEx to return them and once they receive them back I will be issued a refund. When I asked why no one ever answered my email he said they get a lot of emails and have limited staff. Bad overall experience.

Out of stock and overpriced

Ordered a pair of boots, FedEx “lost” them. Tecovas said, “oh well, FedEx lost them and we don’t have any more in that style, here’s a gift card for when they come back in style.” I will discount the gift card and sell it to someone else. Who wants a reminder set of this nightmare company?
