This whole TV offer turns out to be such a scam! I wanted to give a present to my mother-in-law because on TV it said it was only $19,95. So, of course, it wasn’t. Now I’m signed up for the three months payments which I never wanted to be signed up for, and the customer service can’t do anything about it, which is even more frustrating. So just make sure you are ready to pay about $150 altogether, and not $20 like it originally was offered. Never ever in my life will I buy anything from TV again or recommend it to anyone whatsoever!

Here is an update to my previous paragraph. I thought maybe I missed something so I looked back through their site and low and behold, found where I could actually upload a picture of myself and a "professional" would help figure out how to color match my skin. Yay! So I sent these embarrassing pics of myself with no makeup, whatever, and you know what I got back from the "professional?" One sentence: "I recommend you choose our product line for fair skin." Wow, thank God that after 52 years of blond hair, blue eyes and 100 million-billion SPF sunscreen I finally found a "professional" to tell me to choose shades designed for fair skin.

Ladies remember, the women in the videos are not trying to do it themselves, you know because of the one gal who says "IF I can get these results I'm definitely GOING TO TRY THIS AT HOME." They are having real professionals do it for them for the commercial. They are not doing it themselves.

I ordered the Luminess Air after watching an infomercial. The deal was supposed to be $19.99 to try for 40 days. Sounds reasonable. I picked out foundation colors, etc.

I received the unit, and I love it. However, this company totally destroyed my checking account by indiscriminately charging different amounts against my checking account, which totally threw my account off balance, causing other checks to bounce, therefore having to pay overdraft fees.

I called to complain and return the whole thing, and the very nice agent said please don’t return it, we will only take out $33 after a month of you keeping it. I decided to just pay for the whole thing for $133 from my credit card. I was not told at all that there was a monthly charge of $20 to be in the club, PLUS every two months being charged for makeup I didn’t like. I use my own liquid makeup. I just called to tell them to put my money back in my bank account.

I will see in two days if the money is put back. The agent gave me a confirmation number. Do not order from this company. Your bank accounts will be robbed.

The moisturizer they sent me was moldy and caused hives all over my face. Customer service was horrible; they did not seem concerned and refused to refund my money! The airbrush is a cheap excuse and does not work as stated.

I bought this makeup on December 3, 2017, and returned it within the 30-day trial period. Today is March 13, 2018, and still no refund.

I called to inquire why and was told that if you return it during the trial period, you don't get a refund. In order to get a refund, I would have had to hold on to it past the trial period, which makes no sense other than they would have been able to bill me for a monthly installment so more money to them. The total cost to me was $42.55; $26.80 for the "trial" and $ 15.75 to return it by UPS.

I have sensitive skin and this product made my face itch, otherwise, I would not have returned it. I'm happy for all those women who had a good experience with their product, but as you can see, mine was very negative. I hope posting this educates the public on their horrible business practices, as a reputable company would have returned my money.

I ordered the Luminess system in hopes it would be a great new way to do my makeup, and it would look good! I ordered it under a promotional price, which when they charged my card, it was double the price!

Once I received the product, I read the enclosed literature and discovered there would be several additional monthly payments of almost $50! I immediately called to get the “return authorization number” and spent $11 to mail the package back to Luminess.

One month later I have not received my refund and called to inquire about it. I was told it was “trial offer” and it was non-refundable! I did not remove the plastic wrap from the airbrush system nor did I open the boxes which contained the makeup! I told the agent on my call that the package had never been opened, and he informed me even though he had not been opened, they could not resell it as new, only as refurbished and therefore I could not get a refund!

Never again will I purchase anything from Luminess. This adventure cost me a total of $48 for nothing! Don’t buy this product if you are smart!

You must pay expensive shipping $15.95 to return, and they have a lot of rules you must follow to get your refund once returned. It also takes 6 to 8 weeks for a refund. What the heck? Never again. I've had the damn thing here all packed up in a box, debating whether to go through the trouble of sending it back only to be told, "it has been used so we are sorry we can't issue a refund." Negative one.

My mom bought this for me as a Christmas present a couple of years ago. Yes, it does cover very well, but after applying you cannot touch your face at all for the rest of the day or it removes the makeup from the spot you touched. No scratching, blowing your nose....nothing! Unless you carry the system around with you and have time to reapply every time you touch your face. So good luck. If you never, ever touch your face then this may be for you. If you do, then I wouldn't touch it!

I wanted to cancel my unknown subscription. I was told it was, yet I was charged this month for nothing. This is the worst company ever. They told me to leave my number and they would get back to me. It has been 3 days. No one actually speaks English as their first language.

I ordered the setup. It said it came with foundation, eyeshadow, mascara, lipstick, and something else. All I got was foundation, and the bottles were only half full. And it takes a lot more than four drops. It is nothing they say it is. Oh, I got the lip palet too. That's all, I sent it back. Don't waste your money.

I just got off the phone ordering my new Luminess Air. I am really excited; I can’t wait to try it.

But the reason I writing this review is just to say I read a lot of negative reviews about this item today on different sites and I am not saying that what these individuals are saying isn’t true, I just wanted it known it doesn’t always happen. It wasn’t so much about the item it was about the service. There was confusion on the pricing and sales reps pushing people into more than what an individual could afford and what they wanted (that was just NOT my experience, mine was GREAT).

I just wanted to make sure I posted how WONDERFUL and HELPFUL my experience was with the sales reps, and I spoke to two different saleswomen. The first time I called I wanted to ask questions before I decided if I wanted it and then I called back to order it.
