Do not trust this company

Their money-back guarantee IS NOT GUARANTEED. They say they will get you your refund within 30 business days. I was one of the few people to get their refund back (after two months). I only think I got my refund in that time because I was so annoying. I emailed them weekly, I commented on their Facebook posts, I commented on others' Facebook posts, I made Facebook posts, and I made memes calling them out. When I started urging others to make a complaint with the FTC and BBB they finally got my refund to me, and then they blocked me from commenting and posting on their Facebook page. They also delete comments and posts that aren't positive about their product. Super shady business taking advantage of people in pain.

Save yourself the headache AND DO NOT BUY.

Scam alert! Do not buy this product.

If you're considering buying Livia for period pain, DON'T. If it doesn't work for you, you'll never get your money back. Like so many other women, I've been waiting 4 months for a refund, which never comes. They fob you off by telling you you're on the "urgent, urgent list" and hope you'll forget about it. I love what another woman on here said about trying to get a refund from Livia is more painful than an actual period! Most women who buy this over-priced product are desperate for some relief and Livia gives us just the opposite. Has anyone actually gotten a refund off them? How did you do it?

SCAM

I was supposed to get a refund no later than March. It's now July and I still haven't gotten my money back. They just keep saying they've refunded me even though my bank confirmed that they haven't. THIS IS A SCAM.

Scammers

I purchased mine in hopes that it worked as stated. I received the item a month after the expected date, so the company gave me free covers to make up for the delayed shipment. Upon receiving the item I had to wait until my next period to try. Upon trying it, the Livia didn't work for me. I reached out, contacted the company and was given a return slip. I was told the whole process would take up to 30 days to process. It has been well over 3 months and I have still yet to receive my money back (which they guarantee). I have reached out to the BBB and they were unable to get a response either. If you are looking you get scammed, buy this product. Other than that, stay awayyyyy!

Do not buy, SCAM.

I bought this product and it did not work for me. I sent it right back exactly as instructed to get my refund in February. I am still waiting. Every time I contact them they say they are rushing it right through. This is the closest thing to a scam I have been involved with.

Would give zero stars if I could

I bought this in January, it didn't work for me, returned it in February. They said they received it. We are now in JUNE and I STILL haven't received my refund! Their customer service is a joke. They promise they'll refund the money, but they never do. I've emailed them about 20 times not.

By the way, Livia is just a glorified expensive TENS UNIT. You can literally buy the same thing on eBay for less than a quarter of the price.

I'm currently filing a dispute with PayPal.

Do not buy from this company!

This product didn't work for me (company policy free refund). I have been waiting since February for my £120 back which I haven't received! I'm not the only one experiencing this.

This company is dishonest

On 9/17/18 I ordered the Livia product but my daughter didn't like it so I returned the product on 11/3/18 following their return policy to the letter. Below is the conversation I had with them via Facebook Chat:

11/30/18, 5:21 AM

ME: I don't remember receiving notification that you received the parcel. Can I expect a refund soon?

LIVIA: Dear Corinne, Thanks for reaching out! According to our system, we haven't received your parcel yet. However, we'll let you know as soon as we have any update. We appreciate your patience.

ME: According to USPS the package was delivered 11/5/2018 11:57am

ME: This has gone on too long. I should have received my refund by now. I'm very disappointed that Livia is dragging it's tail. How much longer do I have to wait?

LIVIA: Dear Corinne, thanks for getting back to us! My sincere apologies for the inconveniences. Please note that I've forwarded your request to the Financial Department again and reminded them about the necessity to process a refund for you. Once I have an update from them, I'll contact you. We appreciate your patience.

On 3/16/19 I called Livia's Customer support. I was told that they would research and process my refund ASAP. I never heard from them again. It is now May 20th, 2019. I still have not received my refund. I STRONGLY SUGGEST that no one purchase their product unless you can afford to lose $149. Believe me, you will never see that money again.

No money back

I purchased Livia but it did not work for me. I returned it, paid packaging expenses, and never got my money back. I sent several emails to their customer service that kept saying they would sort out the issue but never did.

Don't buy Livia!

Horrible company!

I purchased Livia and I tried it "risk-free" as the site advertises, except when it didn't work for me and I wanted to return it, the process was awful and I never got my money back.

I opted to return the product, I paid for mailing it back with tracking. The received it and said I would have my money back in 30 business days, it has been well over two months. Every time I call or email they say "we put urgent on your case for the financial department". There is no financial department you can't reach or call anyone there. The 718 number on Livia's website contacts a call center in the Ukraine.

That being said, if you want to try it, do so knowing that you won't get your money back from Livia. You are better off purchasing it from a vendor or Amazon.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Saved my A-levels

My cramps get worse every month and I'm off pain medication so going to school without a heating pad is not possible. I bought my Livia so I could go into my exams without having to get up every hour to warm up my pad again and it's amazing! It took some time for me to get used to the higher settings because my skin is very sensitive but now I can even block out some extreme cramps. Already went to a party with it and to the opera as well. I would totally recommend Livia to every girl who wants to live a normal life without being held back by her cramps.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
