My pups love it!

By Michelle K., Ramsey, NJ, Verified Reviewer

I started using Nutra Thrive with some skepticism. It didn't take long before I started seeing results. I have two dogs and while they used to have very loose stools, that is no longer the case. Their coats are shinier, they have way more energy and just seem happier overall.

The product is so easy to use. I just sprinkle it in with my dog's evening meals and they even lick the spoons!

I've been so pleased with the overall results, that I recently just purchased another 6 jars. I highly recommend this product.

Working for 12-year-old Shepherd and 2-year-old Yorkie

By Bonnie B., Cambridge, MN, Verified Reviewer

While our new home is being built, we have moved in with our daughter and family. They have a 12-year-old Shepherd named Raven, with arthritis in the back end and she was having much difficulty getting up and down steps where she would literally slide down and up the stairs and we would have to help her get up and down. She would also fall outside just walking around the yard.

Since giving her Nutra Thrive she is now going up and down stairs just fine and when outside in the yard she is actually running and loves it.

She has improved so much with Nutra Thrive and I would tell anyone who has a beloved pet and having issues to give this product a try. It is a little bit spendy, but so worth the money after seeing Raven get up and walk, run, go up and down stairs with no difficulty. She is like a new dog.

We also have a 2-year-old male Yorkie with knee issues and this product has also been amazing for him. Instead of lifting the back leg up and hobbling around he is actually using the leg and running around like nothing is wrong.

We feel it took 2-4 weeks to really see the difference and were truly amazed. Thank you for this product, as we are true believers after seeing with our own eyes, and we bought 3 jars!

Again, I highly recommend Nutra Thrive!

Mixed feelings

By Kimburlee L., Troy, IL, Verified Reviewer

My Bullmastiff Fur Kid loves the fact that he gets applesauce with his breakfast. That’s what I mix the Nutra Thrive with. His hip discomfort has gotten better, but as far as flatulence it seems to have a worse odor than previous. His belly does not gurgle as bad, but when he burps it has a horrible odor. Suggestions are welcome!

Nutra Thrive

By Dennis A., Ontario, Canada, Verified Reviewer

Hi, I only received Nutra Thrive a few days ago. Koda, who is a chow, really likes the product. We started with pinches like instructed, she eats it right up, in two days I gave her the full amount and she loves it. Her poop is more solid, we’re taking more walks, this product seems very good. Koda is 7 and full of spunk, I’m really hoping this product stops her from getting cancer like my other dogs in the recent past.

Seems like a winner for chicken dinner

By Annie C., Minneapolis, MN, Verified Reviewer

I have 2 Shih Tzu make dogs, they are half brothers and just turned 3 years old. It’s been a journey of finding the right food for them. One has a sensitive tummy and throws up a lot. I tried grain-free real food and although they loved the taste, they could not maintain a good weight (they lost too much and had loose stools) and it was expensive. Also my vet did not approve of grain-free as it has not been proven by their opinion to be the best route for dogs. So along with prescription food (Purina Pro Plan for digestion), I started researching supplements because I truly believe the over-processed dehydrated kibble is not sufficient for lasting health. I have added Nutra Thrive slowly to their food and so far they seem to be happy and healthy, with very few vomiting episodes and normal stools. I also think their smelly breath has improved.

Do not buy, expired and in #1 plastic...

By Sandy S., Cocoa, FL, Verified Reviewer

Do not buy the product, expired, and due to the container they put it in, #1 plastic, the supplement has chemicals leaching into the supplement daily...the plastic leaches carcinogens into the supplement which causes cancer and other health conditions. I called the company 3 times trying to get a not expired product. They sent 3 shipments of Nutra Thrive, all expired products. And now refuses to send me a fresh batch. Expired dates of what I received 3 containers each order. Mgf dates.

1/30/2019 - First order, I called with the #1 plastic concern and expired product. They said oh no, shelf life is 12 months, we will send you a fresh batch and report #1 plastic...well, next two orders were more expired (1/28/2018, 1/27/2018).

And now they say oh, we extended the shelf life, now it's 18 months and I can use the one dated 1/30/2019...

Not true, they can't just extend shelf life on an old product, especially in a toxic #1 plastic. This company is making our pets sick...I like to shove this stuff down their throat every day...

Why do people put a good product in a #1 plastic container that is toxic? And sell expired crap?

Company Response from Ultimate Pet Nutrition

Feb 4, 2020

Hi Sandy, I'm Shayne from Ultimate Pet Nutrition. At Ultimate Pet Nutrition, we have established a Potency Validation Date procedure that begins at the time of manufacturing. All formulas are tested for potency, quality, and safety before they are accepted into our warehouses. We also send that same product to a third-party laboratory to further validate the previous finished product test results. A Potency Validation Date is a date we set to test the product to ensure the potency of the product is maintained over time. Developing a Potency Validation Date or “PVD” involves having a thorough understanding of the ingredients in the formula, what delivery system the product will have, and what type of packaging the product will go in. All these factors determine how the potency of the formula, as reported on the label, will sustain over time. Potency Validation Dating involves several rounds of finished product testing to ensure that our customers are getting a quality and effective product that has accurate potencies stated on the label. We would never make a product that we didn't wholeheartedly believe in and I'm really sorry to hear that you had to go through this frustrating experience. I have noted your concerns and we'll do our best to implement necessary changes to make sure this doesn't happen again. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me at Shayne@ultimatepetnutrition.com if you have any future concerns.

Container dating

By Dale V., Detroit, MI, Verified Reviewer

Has anyone that bought this product (Nutra Thrive) check the bottom of the container to see the Expiration Date?

The only thing it says was when it was manufactured date. I ordered 3 containers to get the discount. The package was delivered FAST, within 2 days. But...after opening the package and checking the date for expiration, there wasn't any. Date of manufacturing was December 2018 on all 3 containers.

I called immediately to customer service. And said you sent me OLD product dated 12/2018.

The answer I got was...oh it's good for 2 years from the date. I went round and round with this customer service, whomever he was. Didn't like his attitude, because I felt there should have been and expiration date, NOT manufacture date.

So I hung up, waited a few minutes, and called back. This time I spoke to Robert (Rob) and explained to him the same issue. Rob was more understanding than the other person. He sent me another package of 3. Same date issue.

Hi Dale, I'm Shayne from Ultimate Pet Nutrition. Thank you so much for your honest feedback regarding our packaging and Customer Service. We strive to provide our customer's with a positive and seamless experience, so I'm sorry to hear that yours was not the case. I can confirm that the date on the bottom of our products is the Manufactured Date...We do not include the expiration date on our products. If you have a product with the date 12/2018 on the bottom of the jar, then your product is good until 12/2020. Also, thank you for letting me know about your phone conversations with our Customer Service agents. I have noted your concerns and will ensure that this does not happen again. My experience with Nutra Thrive

By Russ M., Point Pleasant, NJ, Verified Reviewer

I ordered 3 jars for Bruiser, a 10-year-old shizyu mix, and his 9-year-old daughter Petunia. I definitely noticed an improvement in their coats and energy levels, but the biggest improvement is their breath. Bruiser's new nickname was "Mr. Stinky Face" but that is no longer the case; I can get a kiss from him and not be disgusted. Also, I noticed that when he was way back in the yard and I called him he ran back to the door like he was crazy and wanted to jump and play more than usual. Five stars for Nutra Thrive! Thanks Dr. Richter.

Nutra Thrive

By Hayley K., California, Verified Reviewer

My Zipper is 9 years old. He was a playful pup when he was younger but had two surgeries on one of his hind legs. He gradually started slowing down and gaining weight. Two weeks ago I started giving him Nutra Thrive. I starting crying when he got a tennis ball and wanted to play! He is much more energetic and he just looks better overall. Looking into those beautiful brown eyes that now shine and look so happy in itself is a miracle. But he runs around the yard and plays with our other dog (who is younger and more energetic) which I love to see. It also seems to have helped his joints which is another plus. So, overall...Yes, I'd absolutely keep giving this to him. He is my love and he is worth it even though it is pretty pricey.

Improved

By Jan W., Denton, TX, Verified Reviewer

I have a precious female rescue cocker spaniel. I got her from a breeder at 3 and 1/2 and she had had 2 litters of puppies and pretty much was caged. She was loaded with fleas and had no shots.

I got her in my good care with the help of my vet and groomer. She seemed to suffer from maybe "acid reflux" - my guess. She has been on Nutra Thrive for about 3 weeks and definitely better - not many episodes at all. So I think she'll be cured soon. She is just an adorable sweet dog that I love dearly.

Love this product!

By Patty D., Gazelle, CA, Verified Reviewer

My Little Girl is 12 years old and I could see she was getting lethargic and just had no energy anymore. She slept away most of the day. She also had a cloudy film over her eyes and she looked like she was going blind. I started her on Nutra Thrive and the film over her eyes pretty much went away and she has so much energy now! It took about 2 months to see the change. I have been giving her Nutra Thrive for about 2 years now and plan to give it to her until she's gone. I showed it to my Vet and he was very impressed with the ingredients. Thank you Nutra Thrive!
