My favorite pans

By Barbara Styer, Phoenix, AZ, Verified Reviewer

I've had my set of Copper Chef Pans for about two months. I pretty much use them every day. I read the instructions before using them, seasoned them as instructed, I haven't had any issues with mine. The only complaint I do have about them is the handles getting hot, especially if you're cooking with two pans on the stovetop. Other than this, I absolutely love my pans. They're very sturdy and clean up is a breeze.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Not happy

By Dawn Blackman, Athens, TN, Verified Reviewer

I also wish I had read reviews before buying these pans. The first skillet I purchased was great at first, so I bought the deep square skillet. I even bought a full set for my daughter. Now, even though I have been careful not to scratch them, everything sticks and they are awful to clean.

I read that the return policy stinks so I won’t bother trying. I sure won’t recommend or buy again. Wouldn’t it be nice if the company contacted me to make things right?

Love them!

By Luann Wenstad, Buckeye, AZ, Verified Reviewer

I have bought a small fry pan, the small baking pan with basket, and a large cookie sheet. The small skillet did start to stick, but I did burn something in it, it cleans up good, I continue to use it. I love both baking pans I have; nothing sticks. I make lots of baking pan dinners (meat and veggies) and it never sticks, and the food browns well. Very easy clean up. Any other metal cookie sheets look terrible after the first use and very hard to clean. I’m buying more!

Food sticks to round pan

By John Nolan, Illinois, Verified Reviewer

Looks like no one has a good thing to say about Copper Chef. So I'm not going to say all that has been said. I was upset at first, and then I looked at the reviews. I had to laugh at myself because a lot of people gave a bad review.

Disappointed

By Michael Koback, Florida, Verified Reviewer

I have the 9.5" deep side pan that was included with induction burners package. It did not take long for the pan to lose its "stick free" claim. Anything cooked in the pan sticks to the bottom and leaves a residue that has to be scraped off. Even the dishwasher does not remove it.

The pan is a great design but has not lived up to the claim or expectations.

Thieves

By Fabian Rodriguez, Chicago, IL, Verified Reviewer

My grandmother bought the pan, and without realizing, this company has been charging her card $7.95 for a monthly grocery fee (?). We tried to contact them and got no answer to the problem. Rude customer service and no help whatsoever, abusing an elderly lady. Shame on you guys, complete rip off company, don't buy.

Quality

By Mark DiBattista, Connecticut, Verified Reviewer

I bought the special of two 9.5- square pans. I used one pan maybe 5 times when I noticed that around the top of the pan where the lid fits it started to chip. I used only plastic spoon utensils on this pan and was careful when I washed.

I thought it may have been just a fluke and started to use the other pan, but I was disappointed to find that it was the same outcome on the second pan.

Do yourselves a favor and don't waste your money on the product. I was suckered into buying the round set also now I'm stuck using them until they all start to fall apart.

Good luck all.

Copper Chef Crisper and other Copper Chef related products

By Darrell Williams, Lexington, NC, Verified Reviewer

I bought a Copper Chef crisper made in China as all the Copper Chef products. None of the As Seen On TV advertisement or on the box are true. The products are not non-stick, they are difficult to clean, and the copper coating comes off while cleaning by hand with ordinary soap and water. Certain baked on items that normally get stuck on all pots and pans cause the copper coating to come off. So this means that possibly this copper, ceramic, or whatever it is (we really don't know since all statements about non-stick, etc. are false as to my experience). I would strongly advise against buying any Copper Chef product.

Stay away from Copper Chef

By Nick Panzone, Columbus, OH, Verified Reviewer

I bought my Copper Chef from the Copper Chef online site in December of 2016 and by April of 2017 everything I cooked in the skillet was sticking, even if I used butter or oil.

I called them to take advantage of the warranty. I was told I had to send it back with a check for $29 for shipping of a new skillet, so this came to $40. I can buy a new Copper skillet for less than half that price. I went back to my All-Clad, which is over 4 years old and things still don't stick to it.

Everything sticks

By Linda P, Philadelphia, PA, Verified Reviewer

I purchased two entire sets of this cookware because we own an Italian restaurant and thought these would make great sauté pans. Forget it! They worked for about a month and then everything began to stick, even with oil or cooking spray. They are a complete ripoff. I have also searched for some evidence of what the non-stick coating (not!) may consist of, but it seems to be a secret. Lastly, the bottom and sides of the pan are very hard to clean. Lifetime returns are a joke too!

Not happy!

By William Horton, New York, Verified Reviewer

Worked well as advertised for about 10 uses, then everything sticks, even with butter or oil. To exercise the lifetime warranty, you are required pay to ship it back plus a $14.99 money order, which totals more than I paid for the pan. So tired of these products not working as advertised. Not happy!
