I purchased the unlock from here for an older LG. Entered the IMEI, a day later I got the unlock code. It didn’t work. I tried 2 different carriers and still didn’t work. I emailed the company and they wouldn’t respond. I called and the service made me go online to a chat. We discovered somehow the IMEI number of my phone to be different than the one I provided. Thankfully for me, the IMEI I gave still matches the box the phone came in AND THE LABEL UNDER THE BATTERY! I believe this company is taking peoples' money, giving them codes to enter in their phone that changes the IMEI or something and then they are able to blame me for entering the wrong IMEI. Well, I didn’t enter it wrong. They refuse to refund OR provide a REAL UNLOCK.

BEWARE! This company is a scam. They cannot unlock your phone, they just take your money and then you have to beg them for a refund. They tried to unlock 3 of my phones, not one they were able to unlock it. Worst unlocking company! There is plenty of other cheaper and better service companies. Dr. SIM unlocked all my 3 phones and charged me half price!

False claims backed by no real evidence. You are sending your payment details to fraudsters. Also, they have the nerve to e-mail you from time to time with "new" features. You've been warned!

This is a SCAM! Seller will tell you that the unlock is "100% GUARANTEED" and then they cannot unlock your phone. You will get TONS of EXCUSES so they don't have to refund you your money. When you prove them wrong on their excuse they will come up with another excuse. I filed a complaint with PayPal to refund my money. DO NOT BE SCAMMED. Reach out to me if you want to see a copy of the entire conversation with them and I will be more than happy to share it. Will post it on Facebook too.

Sent my phone info and IMEI to Cellunlocker.net on June 3, 2020. Got a note a couple of days later to say they were still processing, not to worry. It is now June 23 and I have had no response from multiple inquiries. Called their 800 number which just redirects you to their stupid email form which nobody answers. This does not appear to be a legitimate service.

I requested 2 different times on their website before the order was completed to cancel and refund me my money because my phone was stolen. I paid $139.99 for nothing. I can’t use a code to a phone I do not have! They said they have no record of my requests! I feel like they stole from me and lied! Horrible business.

Be sure to read the BBB report on this company (https://www.bbb.org/us/wa/bellevue/profile/tablet-equipment/cellunlockernet-1296-22717217). I wish I had before I sent them my money. I sent them my IMEI code and they took my money (more than the receipt showed they would). They provided unlock codes for my phone which proved to be bogus. I have not heard from them since. The service they allege to furnish is available to you for free.

First determine the IMEI number for the phone. On an iPhone Settings>General>About and scroll down to you see it. Dialing *#06# on the phone will also frequently give you the number.

Next determine the carrier. If you know the carrier, good, otherwise, look at the SIM card and it will tell you the carry. If the SIM card is gone, call the manufacturer and they will tell you who the phone was delivered to.

Next call the carrier and request the 16-digit unlock code. You will need to give them your IMEI number. They should give it to you. If they do not, file a complaint with the CCTS. https://www.ccts-cprst.ca/. It took a couple of weeks, but they compelled my old carrier to provide the number when they originally failed to do so.

After they say it is unlocked you have to do more steps and it only unlocks for 1 company. Should have said it before wasting my money.

Yeah it was fast getting the code but it didn't work. I talked to their customer service, he or she told me to reply back in 3-5 days, and there would be an investigation, which I still didn't get yet, or have they offered to refund my money. This feels like a scam.

What should've been 48 hours took 4 weeks. Customer service either didn't respond or didn't help much. After week two I was adamant about a response and was told it would only take 3 more days. I waited an additional 2 weeks.

I've used this website in the past and had gotten good turnover speeds, but I can't speak of their reputation after this experience. I'll just have to see how the next unlock goes.

Cellunlocker.net was unable to unlock my LG Phoenix 4 because they said it was a hard lock by AT&T but refunded my money after a couple of weeks. They did apologize for the delay in answering my messages and request for a refund after I did not receive code after over a week.

This service worked as promised. I received the unlock code in 22 hours for less than half of the Bell rate. The code worked fine and the unlock was easy.

Worked for me, had to get a second unlock code as the first did not work, but I now have an unlocked cell phone. It was for AT&T and can now use it for T-Mobile.

I've experienced good communication with this company. I always emailed within their hours. I was unable to unlock my old iPhone, because the IMEI was not found, and received full payment back, without even asking. My hat goes off to the staff for their attempts, and I would use again in the future, if needed.

First of all, I would say that 90% of the "bad" ratings, on here, are from first-timers who don't understand how it all works and they were either impatient or ignorant of how to proceed before/during/after the unlock or during the waiting period.

My receipt said it could take 2-5 "business" days, so I will wait 2 to 5 "business" days before getting concerned.

Not every phone takes the same amount of time to unlock. One might take 2 hours, one might take SEVERAL days, it's just the way it is UNLESS you want to go somewhere else and pay more for faster service.

If you look at all the sites, you will see that more money makes processing faster, it's just how it is.

Sending texts and unlocking phones have NOTHING to do with one another. "After" you unlock the phone, you HAVE to set a "new" APN so you can send SMS/MMS correctly. I've seen people blame cellunlocker.net for their own lack of understanding of, well, everything to do with the phone and the situation and it's not fair to the company.

I've bought, over the years, maybe 5 or 6 unlocks from them and never had any real issues with them. I go through phones, pretty rapidly, so I've got a history with these people and I know not every situation is going to be the same.

READ THE RECEIPT. It's going to be your guide to sanity with this process. Read it ALL, especially the part where it says "days to complete" and you won't get so wound up.

Now, in all fairness, I will take note of the other side of the situation. The phone service, associated with this company, it kind of "sucks" because you're put on hold forever sometimes.

You don't always get emails back fast when you email support and sometimes this company's website (like today) goes down for a period of time.

Like I said, I've done this SEVERAL times with this company, and always seem to have a decent experience for ONE reason, I understand the rules.

If you're impatient or paranoid which, let's be honest, there are a LOT of you out there who are both, you're not going to have a good experience with this company.

I almost never do online shopping or transactions because I am nervous about scam websites, but this site seems to have been safe so far. I got the unlocking code within 24 hours, followed the provided instructions, and everything seems to have worked as predicted. My phone tells me it is successfully unlocked. I have yet to actually purchase a foreign Sim card and see if it works on the phone though, but so far so good.

I purchased an unlock code for a Galaxy S6 on Vidéotron carrier. Cellunlocker processed the order, but upon reception, the site was unable to provide an estimated time for an unlock code. I waited for three days, and after that time I ended up receiving another email stating that they could unlock using another method that involved a direct connection to a PC and the device through USB. I was skeptical at first and ended up waiting for two weeks before finally deciding to do it.

The technicians over the phone were very polite and helpful, and they delivered what was promised, and after the scheduled appointment my cell phone was unlocked and ready to go.

Cellunlocker.net is a genuine unlocking company. I got the code for my phone as ordered with a very reasonable price. It was about $20 cheaper than the other unlocking companies. Although they were a few days late in delivering my code, they were super nice on informing everything that's happening via email. They responded to my inquiries super quick as well. Cellunlocker.net is the best unlocking company out there.

Great service with fast performance. I have unlocked a couple of my phones already with them and both times have worked well. It was relatively easy and fast, which only took a couple of days to do. Like everyone else, I had my doubts about this website because, to be honest, it did not look legitimate and real. But I have been proven wrong, and I absolutely love it. There were no issues, and they did everything in a timely manner. I would recommend it to everyone.

The only thing to improve is charge customers based on where they live. Like I am in Canada, but was charged in USA currency, so my credit card company will charge conversion fees and rates. But other than that, they are the best so far I have seen in my life.

It was a good experience having my phone unlocked with the technician online.

At first, I was skeptical because I once had a not good experience a year ago when I wanted to unlock an iPhone 6s I bought online but I didn't know it was blacklisted. After paying for the services I was told it could not be unlocked because it had been blacklisted and my money wasn't refunded. So I was afraid that such should repeat itself. I'm a testimony to the unlock service I got with my Samsung S5.

I received my unlocked app code within 3 days. It worked great. The only problem was that I could not receive MMS messages and the internet wouldn't work, but I resolved that problem by changing the APN on my LG V20 T-Mobile to an AT&T network.
