The stick was not compatible with my computer but you soon put me on the right path and all is well! Very good back-up and service. I am getting on in years but it was simple, even for me!

I bought 2 FixMeSticks. I accidentally loaded both sticks on the same computer. When I contacted the company and informed them of this they issued me another license for another computer. I was then able to use that Stick on my laptop and found 7 viruses. These Sticks are great!

When I first saw and heard about the FixMeStick, I was immediately impressed with the simplicity of the idea. Here was a stand-alone device that, when activated, used its self-contained Linux OS to take over the PC or Mac computer to which it was attached, extract every single file from the hard drive of that machine, take out every bit of code that was not supposed to be there, bit by bit, and reinstall the cleaned file back onto the hard drive. Sheer genius! Add to that the automatic update of all the malware scanners in the FixMeStick via a live internet connection, and the idea becomes a sure-fire winner. But knowing how easy it is to hype claims that just aren't what they say, a little skepticism cannot be avoided. It took me a minute or two to understand what would happen when I used the FixMeStick I purchased through a very attractive online/TV promotion, but that's all it took. Operation is simple: plug it in, close whatever programs you have open, go to your file manager and click on the FixMeStick icon, then sit back and have a rest. All functions are then carried out automatically. You have the option of running a full scan or a "quick" scan, and a couple of other information management options, but that is all the user interaction that is required.

I use my FixMeStick on an Acer laptop running Windows 7. That particular unit is prone to seizing up temporarily, often at the most inconvenient times, by loading the CPU to 100% for no apparent reason. It had been running at an ever slower rate for a while when I got my FixMeStick, and I figured it was because there was getting to be a build-up of unwanted programs running in the background and using up CPU capacity. When my FixMeStick was delivered, I set about to run a full scan with it. I was very surprised that that first scan took almost three full days and had scanned something more than 354,000 files on my computer. The result was as I expected. The FixMeStick generated a rather long list of unwanted files that it had found and removed, most of which were bitcoin miners that had been put onto my machine during my online activities (as a contract writer/editor for a large publishing company, I often have to do a lot of online research for fact-checking and updating information, and I also receive about 200 emails per day from many different sources). After the scan, my computer ran significantly faster, as advertised. Since then I use my FixMeStick to run a quick scan (which takes a couple of hours) about once a month, and a full scan every 2 - 3 months. The last full scan I ran just a week ago found no problems at all, and scanned all 354,000+ files within 24 hours.

The bottom line for me is that this device is worth every penny I paid for it. I highly recommend it.

I've used FixMeStick for years now and couldn't be more happy with it. I've had Norton & McAfee both in the past. Run them and they find nothing, turn around and run FixMeStick and it captures viruses the others never found. I purchased mine on with a lifetime membership/warranty. I like the way they send you a reminder if you haven't run a scan in a while and how it is always updated. I recommend it to everyone that cares about their computer.

FixMeStick works no doubt, but it takes forever to scan through all the files, it does not matter what virus detection application you have, it still takes a couple of hours. But having two computers, no problem. What I like about the Stick is it saves all the infections in a file, and if you have the password to open up the vault you can place the viruses in a SandBox and see how they behave without putting your computer at risk. I am not disclosing the password, it's for you to figure out. Have a good day.

I watched a short video on Facebook of a dog trying to persuade a statue to throw a stick. Not getting any results from the inanimate sculpture, the dog kept whining. Well, his whine somehow stayed in my computer's audio, annoying me, to say the least. Linda Liu from FixMeStick eliminated the noise in no time! Kudos to Linda for restoring my sanity!

I'm certainly no computer guru. I saw the FixMeStick online and bought one for when my computer became overloaded in its background. Then my wife's computer was acting up. It was extremely slow booting and online. She asked me to look at it and I did, over and over. I finally remembered that I had the FixMeStick. Wow, what a difference. I understand that some computer pros use it. Now I know why.

I have been a FixMeStick customer for a few years now. I use the program on my 2 computers. The stick launches relatively easily on one computer while it often takes a few reboots to launch it on the other computer even though they are both on a Windows 10 platform.

Once launched, the stick does a very good job of detecting and cleaning viruses and malware from the computers. Overall, I have been very satisfied with the effectiveness of the FixMeStick.

The main focus of this review though, is the customer service I have received from FixMeStick. Like a lot of other customers, I was disappointed when FixMeStick discontinued their phone-based customer service but I have been very happy with the service I have received via their Live-Chat service. All the customer service personnel I have dealt with so far have been very, professional and responsive, always demonstrating a willingness to help; often going above and beyond the call of duty.

I definitely recommend FixMeStick and I will like to give a shout out to their customer service staff.

I have been a customer of FixMeStick since they first started up. Have used the FixMeStick on my computers all these years and it has cleaned my computers very well and as advertised.

I have been a loyal FMS customer now for as long as I can remember. I have used the product faithfully, running scans on a monthly basis, surprisingly enough, FMS has found and removed a lot of viruses and the results make my computer(s) run much faster.

I have also had issues that FMS was not able to fix directly, however after an email request for support, their Customer Service team would respond quickly and assist as best they can. In every case, they were able to provide a positive outcome.

The team will go above and beyond what I expected they could do to provide a good experience. I am very grateful for that effort.

This will be my second year with FixMeStick. It used to cost me way too much money to keep up with 3 computers every time they had a problem. I decided to give FixMeStick a try and I have never regretted it. It fixes my computer every time. I'm very happy with FixMeStick, and I would recommend them to everyone.

First-class customer service. The chap (Etienne) was most helpful and patient with me as he led me through the steps to solve my computer situation.

I've been using FixMeStick for about three years now and I can honestly say that this is an amazing little tool to ensure you're not hit with viruses or malware. I surf the net a lot and I have to admit that I'm not always careful about what sites I visit. It's great to know that I have FixMeStick at my back. The customer service is also great if you ever run into problems.

An extra bonus is a reduced rate for McAfee if you're with them.

I ordered the FixMeStick because I believed I had a virus on my computer that was making my computer prevent me from downloading files. I ran the FixMeStick and it found items that need to be quarantined but it did not correct the problem. I continued to talk with customer service and they remotely looked over my computer and fixed settings that were recommended by Microsoft Windows to fix this problem. It took several hours! I am so pleased and satisfied with your company. I believe you went above and beyond. Thank you so much. I highly recommend your company.

Just want to say that I purchased FixMeStick, and have been very satisfied with the product. It's easy to use following the tutorial. I also like that I get updates from the company when there is a virus going around and they notify me to run the program. I also like that they notify me as a reminder when I sometimes forget to run the program. Recently I suffered a devastating fire at my home, our home was completely lost. I contacted the customer service dept and was very surprised and pleased, as they told me they would replace my product. I highly recommend FixMeStick!

Your instructions are not geared up for older or computer illiterate people! I asked to chat, never got through the chat because I could not find the send button!? So I did not get any help but kept at it and got your stick working! Still not sure if I loaded up the update properly? You guys have to take into account us old folks!

Was really happy with the support I got. I could not get the FixMeStick to connect to WiFi on my new computer. I am not very computer savvy but the girl I chatted with was very understanding and patient, and walked me through what I had to do - factory upgrade - to solve the problem, it worked. My computer got a virus in it and I couldn't keep it running. At first I couldn't even get my FixMeStick going. I got ahold of the support team and they walked me through the process of manually booting it up. After the FixMeStick scan ran, my computer is now running fast and clean. My computer was hit by malware and viruses. I couldn't even log in.

FMS was able to detect and delete all viruses, as an external device, it did a fantastic job. Tech support is outstanding.

I had purchased the FixMeStick to speed up my laptop, but when I used it for the 1st time on 12/2/19, it stalled. I called the customer service line and the representative was very helpful, BUT the stick wouldn't work. The rep showed me how to clean up my laptop without the stick since it wasn't working. Why did I pay for this when I could have done the work myself and did. Very unhappy and would like my money back.

Customer Service was 10 out of 10. I think that FixMeStick is worth the money. It also turned out to be very helpful if there arises an issue to resolve that Customer Service was very capable, polite, efficient and helpful.

I have had FixMeStick for a number of years now. It always tells me when my system is clean. One of the best things about it are the reminders FixMeStick sends me. They remind me to use otherwise I often forget.

I had a little trouble getting it to work (to be expected as it has its own OS), but their tech support was outstanding and got me going in short order. I'm a bit on the paranoid side (cybersecurity pro, I know what the bad guys can do) and have three major antimalware packages on my computer. FixMeStick found SIX issues the others missed. I am a subscriber for life.
