Never received my replacement rings

I placed an order for replacement rings that never got here. I emailed them and was ensured that the replacements would be sent. I received an email that my rings were in my mailbox. This is the second time that they aren't here. This is completely unacceptable. I will not be doing business with you guys again.

Looks good, quality and warranty are terrible

I have had the Groove ring for over a year. It looks good, but it is not durable at all. I have had to warranty the ring several different times due to it tearing, rubbing, or fading. When I originally bought the ring, the warranty replacement was completely free, even the shipping. Now, they charge shipping for each replacement, $3+tax. First, the package it came in said it only costs $1.20 to ship it, so they are making money off the replacement. Secondly, I should be grandfathered into the original warranty since I bought the product when it advertised for a completely free warranty replacement, shipping included. The very reason I bought a ring from Groove was because of their great warranty and in my line of work, I figured it may damage the ring from time to time. Now they have changed their warranty and do not stand behind the original warranty when I purchased the product. Very dissatisfied with the recent changes in their product and policy. I will likely be shopping for a different ring with real customer service and a warranty they stand behind.

The rings

Bought 2 rings for my wife and I. Mine gave me a rash and my wife's broke after a month. Be prepared to pay for shipping if your ring breaks in a month, and if you get a rash then they might tell you some BS about ring size. Like at 45 I don't know my ring size. Terrible product, don't buy.

Misleading company

I bought the black ring at a local retailer and I asked for any type of discount but they said they don't offer one. I even asked for a military discount, again they said the company didn't have one. So I get on the company site and low and behold, a discount, so I emailed Groove Ring and was told I would get a 15% off the next order, which is BS. Why would I order a second time when I can't even get a military discount the first time? If I were you, the customer, I'd rethink about ordering a ring thanks.

Completely disappointed

This ring does not look at all like it is pictured and does not work as stated.

1) The grooves in the ring do not even lead out from the inside of the ring, so trapping moisture nonetheless still within these grooves.

2) The wood grain appearance actually looks more like grainy flesh. It is not a cute look.

I acknowledge that I have sweaty hands. I did research before the purchase and it does not do as promised. I do not even wear the ring as it has trapped the moisture leaving a white uncomfortable ring of flesh underneath the silicone.

After contacting the company, the response to the picture was that the ring is the wrong size, despite the rep acknowledging that the ring does not look normal. The ring IS in fact very comfortable and I do not think going up a size is the right solution. I know the rep had the best intention, but they sent a larger ring size before even responding to me, so my feedback was irrelevant.

Waste of time

This company is so bad and I talked about a problem I was having ordering one of the rings. After several weeks they call me back and they want the discount code that I used. Of course I don't remember the discount code. And this is as far as the company is willing to go to help you.

Deceptive company, buyer beware!

They sent a promotion offering 15% off if you watch a video. No exclusions were mentioned. Then after watching the video, belts are excluded from the promotion. I held my end of the bargain, then they shafted me. I emailed support and all they gave was a half-hearted apology. At least I found out they were snakes before I made a purchase. Stay away!

Customer service?

I used to be a huge fan, and to be honest, I still am of the product itself, but the customer service and communication have gone from a five-star rating to a one-star. I placed an order on Saturday for a walnut brown belt. As of today (Wednesday), the order was still pending and with no correspondence from GL. I tried to call and speak with someone (good luck, it’s only a recording telling you to send an email with no option for human contact). So I sent an email to cancel the order as it seemed I wouldn’t be getting the belt anytime soon and at this point, I wasn’t happy with the lack of support. I was emailed back shortly after and told the brown belts were on backorder, but that information was never relayed to me. Shortly after, I received a call back from a human and was told an entirely different story. This rep told me that the belts weren’t on backorder...? Made no sense to me. While their customer service reps are friendly, it’s certainly lacking with their new business practice of being unavailable to speak directly to customers. Sadly I’ll now be looking at other options for better customer service.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced

If I could give zero stars, I would. I don’t even think they deserve a single star. I ordered a ring on 10/4 (it is now 10/8) and I paid for the 2-day shipping. The order never shipped! Johnny told me it was an issue with my address on 10/6 and that he fixed it and it would be shipped out. Once again, it’s 10/8 and it STILL NEVER SHIPPED. The only resolution? They can ship it by USPS, which takes 5-7 BUSINESS DAYS! Or refund my order?! So I am getting a refund before I even got the chance to see my ring!

Don't buy these rings

These rings stretch out very easily and you will need to replace them for $3 every 3 months. You'll end up spending $12 a year for a ring you already paid for 30 to 40 times upfront.

Not living up to anything

I had made 3 purchases from this company. The first was okay. The second, I ordered stackable rings and they don’t look like the pictures. Third purchase...horrible. I paid for same day shipping and would receive it in 2 days...so I email them and they tell me on Tuesday that it would be delivered on Wednesday. Great! Wednesday night I get an email that it just shipped and I will receive it Saturday. So not only did I pay the extra on shipping but was lied to by customer service. Never again will I order from them.

Buyer beware!

Horrible company! I had a ring for 2 weeks, asked for a replacement because it broke. "Oh, I’m sorry, that ring doesn’t qualify (which doesn’t say so on the website), but here’s a 10% off coupon."

Then I respond to that, "ok, we will waive the replacement policy, chose from these rings," I respond, and chose. Then I get another email, "we will email you the difference in price and when you pay we will send it out."

Wait, really? I can pick from these rings to replace, and by the way, you have to pay.

Worst company ever! Buyer beware.

Horrible ring warranty replacement process

The warranty ring replacement process is completely broken. First, there is no way you can speak to a HUMAN. Second, the website warranty process does not work for a ring that is no longer available. It took four emails just to get customer service to respond. They finally sent a link to order a replacement but it wanted to charge me the full price for the replacement. After several more emails, I finally got a replacement ordered. They would not send a tracking number for the replacement, so I was in limbo for approx 2 weeks wondering where it was. Then I got a note from the postman that the package could not be delivered without paying additional postage of $2.60 before they could deliver. Groove didn't even put enough postage for it to be delivered! The whole process is very disappointing and frustrating.

Disappointing

We are disappointed in Juneau. While we understand that each ring is probably unique, ours look very much alike BUT NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURES. We are scuba divers and were drawn to how much the blue and green in the pictures look like the ocean.

The rings we received are primarily white with “paintball” splotches of dark gray and a little green, but no blue.

Poor quality

We purchased two of the walnut rings, one men’s and one women’s.

The print began to scratch off within a month and after 6 months began to crack.

We contacted customer service to begin the replacement process, unaware of the charges for replacement shipping but we proceeded anyway. We submitted the pictures and now two months later never received a replacement.

Recommendation: Improve customer care and quality control for a better product.

I’m frustrated that no one at Groove actually reads the messages.

My order wasn’t filled but the first order I ever made was. Then my change of address was ignored with my new order going to the old address. And now you ask for a review of Jenny who did nothing.

I feel like this office is a class project that needs the teacher (with a red pencil) to get straightened out. I like your product but your organizational skills are greatly lacking.

Took 10 days just to ship

I have been a customer of theirs for last 2 years and I was excited when I got my 1st one for my significant other, but it was a college one and within the first month the logo of Texas A&M was rubbed off. My girl got me one as well and I've had to replace it twice and that was all within 6 months. I decided to get the Chiefs Superbowl one and after I ordered they sent me a shipping notification and 10 days later I check with USPS and it still hasn't been dropped off at the USPS office. They just made the postage and didn't drop it off it seems. When I contacted them they just gave me the runaround, then when pushed, they finally admitted it and just told me to check tomorrow. I used to recommend them due to designs and options, but with the slow service and runaround, never again.

These aspire rings do not last

I have been wearing silicone rings for 5 years now. In the past I have purchased cheap-o rings that have always done me well. When I first saw the thin aspire aurora ring I fell in love. I typically would not spend $35 on a ring, but with a lifetime warranty, it seemed to be well worth it. At least, so I thought. Turns out not only does this ring lose color (the color literally comes off leaving white spots), but it also shrinks! So far, every 5 months, these rings get too small to be worn comfortably. At first I thought it was a weird fluke, but unfortunately, that is not the case. I'm highly disappointed in this $35 ring. I wouldn't spend any amount of money on a ring that needs to be replaced every 5 months. Add to it that I'm expected to pay $3/$13 for every replacement? No thank you. If these rings were made of high quality like the company states then they would actually last more than 5 months.

Ordered 2 rings got one free

I ordered two rings (February 2020) then I was sent another, I tried to return it and they said it was a mistake and to just keep it. Well, I gave it away as I didn't feel right to keep it. Two out of three rings need to be replaced. One has the color rubbed off and the "accident" ring has a cut in it. I am wondering if it was a return and they ruin them, send them out as an "accident" and then they are broken and you want it replaced so you order a new one. ALSO, I DID A 40% OFF OFFER, NEVER GOT IT...

Wished for a better first experience

I heard a lot of good about this company so decided this would be the company I go through to start buying products. The problem started from once we made the order. After making the order about a week went by and I finally got an email saying they're out of stock on one of the rings I purchased. I was not happy about this as it didn't say they were out of stock when I was ordering them. This was for a gift. After emailing back and forth to the customer service I finally told them to send out the rest of my order and then once the other ring is in stock to send it out. At this point, I should have already received my order but because of the emailing back and forth, it took a while longer to get my order. That was just the first problem. Next, once I receive my order I received the wrong ring. Not only was it the wrong ring it was the wrong color and the wrong size. Again, here we go back and forth with emailing trying to get this resolved. They shipped the order again, I received the correct ring this time. They sent out a free ring, although it was not good quality, it looked like a ring that came from the garbage pile. As I stated in my title I wish for a better first experience. I was really looking forward to keep purchasing from this company. At this time I'm undecided whether I will or not. I'm still waiting for the ring that was out of stock.

Now as for customer service, they did a good job helping me out. Christy was wonderful to work with. One time I even received an email from her at around 3 am her time. She probably needs a raise. I understand they get busy but at times it seems that the team could use more people for a quicker response. I have yet to review the product as I'm still waiting for all the product to be received. The sad thing is as a company you may have a good product but it's sad the first experience could ruin keeping customers. Once all of the product I ordered comes then I can review that as well.

Slow to fill a Kickstarter order

The marketing campaigns that this company uses make them seem like a cool company that cares, but they really don't. I have been wearing a Groove ring for a year and have enjoyed it. When they announced their line of belts I hopped on the Kickstarter promo and ordered an Apple Watch band and a belt. After receiving notification that orders were processing I thought I could expect my order soon. After a month I hadn't received my order so I contacted customer service and was told "soon". After another month I was told the order was shipped. A week later the tracking number shows "Pre-shipment". The original Kickstarter order was placed on 5/25/20, on 6/22/20 I was able to make my product selections. It is now 8/27/20 and I am still waiting.
