In January of 2016, I had come to the conclusion that I would be bald and started purchasing wigs to at least retain some bit of "normalcy." I had a thyroid condition that was causing major problems in my body including severe, uncontrollable, hair loss.

After having a thyroidectomy on 4/9/2016, I decided that I would give Hair La Vie a try because I had nothing to lose as they offer a full money-back guarantee. At that time the hair from the crown of my head was measuring 1/2 to 3/4 inches in some areas. The front of my hair measured 2 and 1/2 to 3 and 1/4 inches. I began taking the Hair Revitalizing Blend capsules twice-a-day, one with my breakfast and another about 6 pm with my dinner. I also purchased the Moroccan oil, shampoo, and conditioner from Hair La Vie and couldn't be much happier! My hair is soft and easy to manage. I don't have to relax it nearly as often, and it doesn't shed close to retouch time like it did before.

The hair in the back is 5 and 1/3 inches, and the front is 6 and 1/2 inches. My family and friends have all noticed and commented on how healthy, bouncy, thick and alive my hair looks and how amazed they are at the hair growth. I'm on bottle number 8, and I'm going to place an order for my mother. I can't even begin to express the gratitude I have for the people at Hair La Vie for such amazing products that ACTUALLY work!

Stick with it because you may not begin to see results until the third month, especially if you have extreme hair damage like mine. The hair goes through a healthy change that takes time initially, but hair growth actually begins about the third month, so be patient.

I have been using for about a month, shampoo and conditioner. I have no problem that it does not lather up. My problem is it leaves the hair tangled. I have never had so much breakage close to the roots of my hair. Now I have breakage all over. I was using Wen for many years and decided to give this a try. So sorry I did! It cleans well, but it has damaged my hair, a lot! Not pleased at all. It’s going to take a long time to get my hair back to normal. Extremely disappointed!

I ordered through their website. The order process was annoying, to say the least. They desperately try to upsell, to the point where I was ready to abandon the ordering process. I should have done so. When I received the order confirmation, I saw that a product, which I was sure I had deselected (travel kit), was added.

I called customer service, was assured it had been removed, and I would receive an email. I never got the mail, called again, after the second call I got the email, which clearly listed the items I ordered, and a refund for the item I wanted removed.

Finally, I received the shipment, and it was the item I wanted removed. I called customer service again and was told I had canceled the shampoo and conditioner, and I "had it backward." It didn't matter that I told the lady that is not what I cancelled, and I have their confirmation that confirms that. I checked my bank account, and I was charged for the items that I ordered, but never received.

I wonder if I will ever get my money back, or get the products I paid for. They also charged long before I received the shipment (charged on 9/13, received shipment 9/21).

I usually have taken Viviscal to help with hair health and growth and have always had good outcomes. I thought I’d try Hair La Vie since it’s rated no 1...what a HUGE mistake! My hair is ruined! Within the first 2 weeks, I noticed my hair becoming more and more brittle, unruly and coarse! What I have left from this supply is going nowhere but the garbage! The pills are huge and horrible in the stomach but I pushed through all of that to get the results the company promised. Boy was I fooled! NEVER AGAIN.

I ordered 3 bottles of the hair vitamins. After using 2 and 1/2 bottles, I noticed no difference and tried to get the refund as promised in the advertising. I was told that I would have to return all 3 bottles. Of course, not knowing this in advance, I only had the bottle that I was using. This is a sham and I would never recommend this product or company! BEWARE OF THINGS YOU SEE ADVERTISED ON THE INTERNET!

I almost never leave reviews unless it’s an amazing or very terrible experience. I’ve been using Hair La Vie products for over a year now believing all the reviews for great customer service on their website. Each shampoo bottle I’ve opened so far has had different density, but it worked ok. It did dry my hair a lot though, which I think increased my hair fall rather than help it.

My last order placed in January, I ordered three bottles of shampoo and two bottles of conditioner and last night I just opened the third shampoo bottle. The shampoo seemed to be 90% water! It was clear!

I decided that I no longer want to use a product that is different between each order, so I called customer service to return the items that I haven’t used. They told me that their policy is 90 days. I understand this to be the rule if it was just me disliking their product, but not when it comes to them sending me a faulty bottle! I will not be ordering again, and I am very disappointed. It also seems like no hair salon carries their line, which makes me doubt the validity of the brand altogether.

I placed an order on approximately 9/16/18. It took a few days to even get an email acknowledging the order. The email included a UPS Tracking number that said a shipping label had been created. Well, it's 10/4/18. The shipping label STILL says the say thing. I emailed these nitwits last week and they said they had been out of stock but that I should get my order on 10/3/18. I didn't. AND the tracking number is STILL not showing any information.

First and last time I will ever spend $60 on shampoo. I will now try to get a refund. I am not holding out too much hope on that though. I'm reporting them to the Better Business Bureau as well. Sorry, sorry, sorry, way to conduct a business.

I spent the money for shampoos, vitamins, and some small bottles for hair ends with Hair La Vie. I had two pills in the morning and one at the evening and only washed my hair 2 times a week. No hair growth after the pills were used up. I called the company Hair La Vie and asked for my full refund. They did not respond so I emailed them again. They refused! Said I didn't return it on time. I did not call them until I had used all the pills/vitamins. I do not recommend their product nor their ethics.

You mentioned the reviews of this product on the Hair La Vie site were not unbiased. Well, here is my unbiased review. I tried this product yesterday for the first time. I am 68 and I have long coarse, curly silver hair. I have to set it in large rollers, air dry it, and then flat iron it to get it to be manageable. I had been using Wen, ran out of it and used some drug store brand and it started getting really unmanageable. I went back to re-order Wen when I read about Hair La Vie. I was blown away. I used the shampoo, conditioner and Moroccan oil as directed. Never, and I mean never has my hair felt this soft and manageable as well as shiny (without using shine spray). I went to get a massage later that day and my massage therapist said to me, "Oh my gosh your hair is so soft." I've never seen it like that. So there you have it. I am sold. Whether or not it helps my hair grow (as it is thinning) is irrelevant to me. It does great with what I have.

I've used Hair La Vie vitamins for the past nine months. Which means that I've re-ordered the product three times now. I've never tried to return a product so I'm not sure how that process works personally. However, I can say that I have noticed longer eyelashes and my eyebrows grow back much quicker after threading. I've also experienced significant hair growth on my head. Unfortunately, I cut my hair very short about six months ago. So my hair could be growing rather quickly just by virtue of it being so much shorter than it used to be. At any rate, based upon my eyelashes and eyebrows, I think it's the product that's helping my hair to grow. So I continue to use the product religiously. And I always wait until there's a sale on the product and buy 3 to 6 bottles at a time. My last purchase was three bottles for $70 during their Black Friday sale.

I have been using Hair La Vie for the past five months now, both the shampoo and conditioner. My first shipment was received with one bottle not too tightly sealed, so there was spillage - they do not package these bottles carefully, they just toss them into a box and ship them, no cushioning at all!

When I first started using the shampoo, it was pure water. No suds, nothing. It finally dawned on me halfway through the bottle (I wasted a TON) that I should shake it. THEN it thickened. It still does not suds up a lot, but that may be due to no synthetic crap in it which is good. Regardless, between the two, my hair never felt smooth and untangled, ever. I use a pick after showering. My hair is very fine. I am gentle with my shoulder length hair when wet. I kid you not. I am literally losing my hair! It only started with this product. There has been nothing else in my retinue, life, etc. to explain the massive amount of hair loss, and the patches of hair gone. I am saddened, depressed, and now need to see my dermatologist get to the bottom of this. In the meantime, I am stopping this product, NOW!
