AVOID, SCAM!

Not only did the product not work for me, the company has been TERRIBLE about honoring their own refund policy. I have sent back the item and MONTHS and MONTHS later no refund. AVOID at all costs. I'm out $160 and have nothing to show for it. Very bad way to do business. Shame on Livia.

SCAM. DO NOT BUY.

I did not want to write this review, but the team at MyLivia did not leave me much of an alternative. I had purchased MyLivia with the expectation that I could return the product for a full refund if it was not of satisfactory quality. I was wrong. MyLivia did little more for my girlfriend than provide her with a weird tingly feeling. It did not reduce the pain she felt. I then tried to return the faulty product for a refund but failed. I emailed MyLivia every week for a month after my refund was due, yet I did not receive the funds. I was only told that it would take a little longer every time I emailed. I will gladly remove this review if this problem can be fixed, however, I am not holding my breath.

TL;DR: MyLivia is ineffective and comes with a fake money-back guarantee.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

GOT NO MONEY BACK

I ordered MyLivia in December 2018 and got it in February 2019. Unfortunately, it didn't work for me (and that's ok, they do not promise that it will work for everyone), but what they DO PROMISE is that you can get your money back when you send them the item back. I did send it back within the 120 days where they promise the 100% MONEY BACK GUARANTEE. I wrote them on a weekly basis and still got NO MONEY BACK. I am really annoyed! So don't make the same mistake and order this item! It is the worst and most dubious company I've ever been in contact with!

Refund not honored - SCAM

I purchased the Livia machine directly from their website and it has now been 9 months since I sent the Livia machine for refund following their exact return instructions, STILL NO REFUND.

Despite my many attempts to get my money back "risk-free" as they boast on their website, I am still waiting.

I have emailed, used Facebook Messenger, and called a number of times in the past 9 months and never have received a refund.

I have managed to speak to a representative using 1-718-715-4647, although all they say is that they are working on my case. Now the phone number goes to an answering service that instructs the caller to dial a number to be connected (always a different number, every time I call) and after pressing the said number it simply hangs up.

If this isn't the definition of a SCAM, I don't know what is. DO NOT BUY LIVIA. IT DOESN'T WORK. YOU WILL NEVER GET YOUR MONEY BACK.

MyLivia is SCAMMING women

MyLivia is preying on women trying to find a solution. I purchased this product about 7 months ago and returned it within the first month of purchase. It did not work for me. Then, after paying for tracked shipping, I returned the product and was informed I would receive my refund within 30 days. It has been 7 months and the company has ghosted me several times. DO NOT BUY! They do not honor their 120-day money-back guarantee. Don't trust a company that can't keep its promises.

Four months to receive device

I just received my device in the mail yesterday after ordering it in early May.

Similar to other 1-star reviews here, I have tried to reach out to customer service for updates on my order but have encountered complete silence after one initial response about 2 weeks into the ordeal that my order was going to be shipping in a couple of days.

About 2 months ago I made a claim with my credit card that I had paid for a product that was not received and have been credited back the fee Livia charged for the device subscription option.

I was surprised when the package came in the mail, as I never received any shipping notification and the order when I sign into MyLivia says "on hold".

With all that said, the device does work very well to relieve my mensural cramps and I plan to continue using it as an alternative to overdosing on OTC pain killers for a couple of days every month.

The customer service of this company is inexcusable and I would not recommend. You really might be able to just purchase a TENS device with similar results.

Length of Use: Less than 3 months

Well, it's not really worth it

I was very excited when I heard about Livia. I only have pain during the first day of menstruation but it is really intense and I can barely walk without painkillers. Since my meds can cause pretty bad side effects, I was euphoric testing Livia.

Shipping took very long, and I also had to pay a lot of tax fees.

The device helps me to a very little extent.

Let's say from a scale from 1-10 my pain is an 8.5, and with Livia, it reduces to 7-7.5.

I mostly use it when I don't have to go out of the house, but for work or even everyday activities like cleaning up, it doesn't help me enough.

But at least I can lay in bed without taking painkillers. That's more or less what it does for me. Maybe it's even just placebo, I don't know. But from my experience, it helps a LITTLE bit but not enough to function in everyday life.

Another bad point is that the higher settings feel quite uncomfortable and, depending on your position, even hurt.

I still use it but would not purchase it again.

Irresponsible business

Just want to put out a warning on this device.

They are sent from the US and incur £32 customs charge. The website does not make this clear, even selling in £’s.

Further, they do not dispatch for a week...and delivery is even longer, contrary to website claims.

They fail to cancel prior to dispatch (over the late dispatch) despite this being on their terms of use.

Customer services have declined to deal with any complaints.

I feel this is kind of taking advantage of women. If you look up TENS devices in the UK, you will find cheaper but less pretty alternatives.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

The product is great, but not customer care

The product is great, but we waited weeks for an update on our order. Customer care was very polite when replying to my chasing emails, but I had to initiate every email or we’d still be waiting!

Would def recommend the product but customer care needs to improve.

I have no words to express how Livia saved me from my terrible period pain. I would faint every month because of the pain, and this machine made it all disappear.

On the other hand, every time I had a problem with Livia, I had terrible troubles with customer service. When I was lucky enough to get an answer (even then, most of the time I would receive a "we will look into it" and no news for months), the staff was incredibly unrespectful and would lie to me several times.

It’s helped greatly

My experience has been pleasant so far. I still think there should be more sticky pads, or the option to add more, and more intensity settings, but that just comes with time and updates.

For the most part my pain goes away while wearing it. Very rarely do I get super intense pain, but when I do, it takes most of it away to where it’s a very faint pain.
