The app works really good and I’m learning a lot from it, but it doesn’t sync my Fitbit steps and so it always says I haven’t met my step goal, even though in my Fitbit app it says I did.

I’m a yo-yo dieter. Losing weight is the easy part. Keeping it off, not so much. I like that Noom goes deeper than other diets into the science behind weight loss and into what motivates us. It has helped me understand my habits, how to break the bad ones, and how to set attainable goals.

I joined because I need to lose weight for a spring event. I have had no success despite following the meal plan. The advice is somewhat helpful, but fairly obvious. I have only gained weight.

I have tried it all, but Noom takes everything from a different point of view. It’s refreshing to have an app that uses more than rules and guidelines to assist you in living a healthy life! For me, the green, yellow and red food system makes eating easy and useful!

I used Noom for four months. I lost and regained the same five pounds - twice. I liked the articles. They were easy reads; written in a positive upbeat way. However, there was too much information given too quickly for me. It was overwhelming. The Coach was not helpful. That was disappointing to me because it was the personal Coach that I was willing to pay the $50 a month. Lastly, they encourage group participation, but that was not productive. Group members did not know how to "thread" a conversation, there was never feedback to posts, and most group members did not encourage anyone else. Overall, I chose not to renew.

I signed up and signed in with the Noom app back in Spring of 2018. It seemed worth a try to get reminders on my phone to eat right. I was assigned a personal coach to text me and keep me on track, "Nikki" texted me on April 20th to see why I was not following the app. It was too time-consuming, impersonal, vague, and confusing to use Noom, and the only way I could reply to her was through the Noom app. I thought I successfully unsubscribed to (her) someone in writing and the app was uninstalled. Today, six months later, I was just charged the second $129 on my bank card. This is a holiday, so I will fight this battle on January 2, 2019 to get this new charge refunded and let you all know.

They tell you that you can cancel within the 14-day free trial, but when I canceled within that time period, they charged me $129 anyway, and are refusing to issue a refund. DO NOT EVER subscribe to these thieves! Complete ripoff.

Does not deliver content as promised, coaching is non-existent. I ordered after the trial and never received exercise/meal plan that was purchased for $79. No contact from the coach after paying for a full month until I contacted Noom (a week is how long I waited), no group support as advertised - was not even added to a group. Noom says sorry, no offer to correct issues even when asked. Save your money, refunds will not be provided by Noom or Google Play.
Too bad as the program has great potential and I would have continued after the paid month was up had these issues been corrected. Instead, I got a sorry about your luck, here's how to cancel.

I signed up for a trial period from Noom. I heard from the coach the first week, then after 12/17, I heard nothing until 12/24. Then they charged me on 12/23 for $99.00 without any reminder the trial was ending. I don't believe they are interested in helping people, only taking your money.

I've been using this app for 100 days and since day one I have had issues with it syncing with my Fitbit. Some say it has do with me having an iPhone, but you'd think they'd work the bugs out at some point. Secondly, I am not a fan of the writing style of the articles. When did the BuzzFeed lingo become the standard for how we communicate? It's pretty awful and it keeps me from reading any of the material at all, which defeats the purpose of my even using this. And as of today, the ability to log food seems to have disappeared. I'm not a social person, so not being able to opt out of the group messages is a bit annoying also. I don't know, I just don't feel like this is the right app for me personally.

I'm convinced this "business" is a scam created by legitimate-looking websites and social media sponsored ads. It is an internet bait-and-switch scheme to collect hundreds of dollars from people. I signed up for a two-week free trial in July 2018 and one week in, after not even downloading the app, I replied to the programsupport@noom.com to cancel my subscription. It ended up being returned to me as non-deliverable to a "do not reply" address. I had to search Google to find a phone number -that no one answered, EVER, AND did not allow messages to be left. Eventually, I had to download the app and interface with their bot, "Concierge Eva" who STILL NEVER allowed me to cancel. That was the month of July 2018. I just got charged another $129 in November 2018 from this scam of a company and FINALLY canceled my card. The day before Christmas Eve 2018 and I am filing a dispute with my bank to get the funds returned officially to our account - NOT the way I wanted to spend the holiday! DO NOT GET Noom! It is a scam and absolutely terrible. Kiwico.com (the kids STEAM subscription boxes advertised on social media around the holidays) sounds very similar to Noom.com.
