Made my dog very sick - required emergency intervention

I tried this product a month ago after reading all of the great reviews. After about a week on the product, my dog began scratching persistently, rubbing on furniture, and shaking his head. I didn't suspect the Nutra Thrive, and gave my dog a bath. The bath did not relieve the itching. After three days, the symptoms were so severe, he wasn't eating or sleeping. I took him to my veterinarian who's seen my dog for six years, and I brought the Nutra Thrive with me. Nothing in the environment or his food was changed, except for the Nutra Thrive. When I showed it to my veterinarian, he told me to immediately discontinue use. Luckily, my dog is ok now.

Imagine my surprise when I received an email informing me that another shipment was on the way. I didn't order any, and still have two unopened jars at home. Additionally, I don't even live at the address they're shipping the product to. So, I called customer service. When I said I didn't order the product and they had no right to charge my bank account, they hung up on me - twice! Finally after the third call, a very nice gentleman looked into it and apologized.

He explained that when I placed my first order, I "subscribed" to a monthly delivery and that's why I'm receiving another shipment. He emailed a return form to me so I can ship the product back to them - from an address I don't live at.

The USPS tracking number provided in the email showed that the package hadn't even been scanned by USPS yet, meaning it was still in their warehouse. He said he'd try to get a pre-ship cancellation and refund my money.

My bank told me about this type of scam in the past. They see this all the time. Companies will put in the fine print that you're subscribing to something and you end up with monthly charges on your account.

Be very careful and check with your veterinarian prior to ordering anything from this company. Make sure that when you do order something, that you're not being tricked into a monthly subscription, also.

Made six of my six dogs sick.

I have six dogs, so I ordered 3 tubs of Nutra Thrive to start. After about a week and a half (which was about 2/3's of the first tub), ALL SIX DOGS had loose stools. No other changes in Dog food...Orijen Dry, Canidae grain-free pure canned, and their freeze-dried liver treats. They do not get people food. So I contact the company for a refund. They offer a 90-day moneyback guarantee. They said you have to return the product for a refund, which is fine, except they only refund the unused portion. How does that work? This stuff made my dogs ILL. And with six dogs, it took most of a tub for that to become evident. SCAM company. I would NOT recommend this to anyone.

Does not work as advertised

I feed my cats Blue Wilderness moist and Prescription Diet urinary tract, expensive food, but they would still vomit. I am into my second container of Nutra Thrive, and if anything their vomiting is worse.

Horrible product

This product does NOT work at all, do not waste your money! I had given it to both of my dogs for a month and saw no changes in their energy level, breath, or overall health. Both of my dogs ended up having digestive issues after using this product! All they are doing is trying to do is take your money.

Don’t buy this! It’s a FRAUD!

I ordered this back in June and I have never received it after 2 months. I tried to contact the customer support and they won’t help. I even contacted the shipment company they said they were using and they told me they never received anything from them.

It’s really a FRAUD!

Where is my order.

Hi, I ordered Nutra Thrive on June 25th, I contacted you and I was told that they forgot about my order and that they sent another one on July 25th, now it's September 4 and my order is still not here, so my question is, do I get it or not? If not I would like my money back.

Made my cat have an aversion to his food.

I bought Nutra Thrive for my 4 cats. I started out slowly just like the instructions recommended. I increased a little more when I saw they were eating their prescription food with the Nutra Thrive very well. Then I noticed that my 8-year-old cat, Junior, was not eating his food. He would walk up to it and smell it and walk away. I offered him the same food that he loved before Nutra Thrive without any on it and he would not eat it. I immediately started offering him other foods. He was hungry but would not eat anything he used to love. I started giving him canned food and he started to eat it but was still getting thinner. I took him in for bloodwork, an ultrasound, and Xrays. Everything was within normal limits except for one small kidney. During this period of time, Junior lost just under 2 pounds. Not good for an 11.2 lb cat who was thin anyway. He is now 9.3 lbs. He is now on Cerenia for vomiting and Pepcid for an acidic stomach but this all started shortly after I added Nutra Thrive to his diet. My other cats are fine but I returned the Nutra Thrive for a full refund minus shipping to send it back. I wish I never received the Nutra Thrive pop up on my tablet. It has made Junior a different cat. He's now a picky eater and never was interested in people food but now he's jumping on the cupboard to get into our food. I am very sorry that I purchased Nutra Thrive and used it. I work in the Veterinary field and get a discount but this mistake I made by buying Nutra Thrive and offering it to my cats has costed about $1000 and he is still not gaining the weight back that he lost. I hope I do not have to euthanize one of my best friends because of this mistake I made.

Dog did not like it!

This product gave my dog the runs. He did not like the taste of it. I wasted food trying to get him to eat it. Every time he would eat it he would start with diarrhea. He would not eat for several days. I still have half a jar left. I hate the thought of throwing away 70.00 bucks. I will not give it to my other dog. So I guess the trash will get it. Too bad I can not return it.

Be very careful with this product

I bought and sprinkled this on my Beagle's food. She ended up having seizures with it. It may help some dogs but not mine. Please be careful! They sent another jar before I could cancel. I still have it.

Disappointing

Disappointed with this company. "Conversion rate" which doubled the cost of my order (at no point was the conversation at that rate), and when I finally received my order it's in some small tiny plastic jar that smells like chemicals and burnt plastic (really good for cats, I'm sure) and there is about a half an inch of chalk powder (not the magical nutritious ingredients you advertise, as it is cremated into some chemical toxin). So happy I paid almost $100 for a spec of false advertisement. This company should be ashamed. We are people trying to do the best possible for our pets, and you are just scamming us, and probably making our animals less healthy. -0-star rating. Very very disappointing.
