Nutra Thrive Reviews - Is It Legit or Just Hype?

I have a 10-month-old and a 13-year-old. Both are Yorkies. Both of then benefit from this product. My 13-year-old had pancreatitis. He has had no stomach issues since I started using this product. My 10-month-old is doing very well with the product, too. I am confident this product will help both of my babies. Thank you for helping us have a product to keep our babies healthy.

I exchanged several emails with this company explaining the problem my dog had while taking Nutra Thrive. He had loose stools to diarrhea while on the supplement. Ultimate Pet customer service says a dog having a diarrhea response for 60 days from taking Ultra Thrive supplements is considered a NORMAL response for a dog beginning their supplement. That is not normal. Then causing the customer to spend out of pocket money, more than the return cost, to correct a problem caused by your product. My only request of Ultimate Pets was to waive the return of empty jars considering I spent that much to correct the problem the supplement caused. I rarely have the need to write a negative review, but when given the benefit of a doubt to do the right thing, this company has no sympathy for your pet's health. Three empty jars with no lids. Good grief.

I purchased this product basically grasping at straws. I have two senior cats I love dearly, watching them slow down more each day. I changed their diet - no improvement. Visited the vet - no improvement or suggestion, other than "let us know if you think they are in pain; we can fix that."

That was the day I ordered Nutra Thrive.

After roughly 6 weeks, my cats are PLAYING! They are running, jumping...and wrestling like they used to when they were younger. It’s amazing!

I mix it in their wet food, and they eat it without a problem. They even wait for me to stir it in now. All I can say is thank you.

We spend a lot of money for nothing, barely anything in the jars! Our cats won't even eat it. Just by opening up the jars and seeing 3/4 of an empty jar, I knew there was something wrong with this whole thing and Ultimate Pet stating in one of the responses that there should be 30 scoops in these jars was shocking, since there are not 30 scoops within the 3 jars together. And after reading the reviews I will go to every extent to get our money back. And to read that they charged one person's credit card without their permission and sending them more is very concerning. I am going on every place to write a review and go to the BBB as well. We want our money back. I am no longer going to give this stuff to our cats anymore. Want a full refund now!

Since starting this product, Charlie (Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, male, 2 years) no longer throws up! He seems happier, with more energy, initiates play more often, and has less boats of anxiety. His bowls are regulated, with less stink! Thank you for a great product! We use it once a day, sprinkled over his dry food.

Tried for over a week to get my 2 dogs to eat it. My 6 lbs., 13-year-old Chihuahua has a sensitive stomach and occasionally vomits. My 15 lbs. 3-year-old Shih Tzu will eat almost anything. I have been feeding Royal Canin or Science Diet for Digestive support kibble mixed with Pedigree canned. I added the Nutra Thrive at about 1/4 of your recommendation - basically sprinkled on. They both hate it. Sounded great if it would work as advertised, but can't work if the dogs refuse to eat it. Money back guarantee sounds like it is not worth the trouble. I will keep trying for a couple more weeks and if they still don't want to eat it, I will give it to my vet or a dog rescue and they can decide if it needs to be trashed.

As a Bay Area resident, I have long respected Dr. Gary Richter. In fact, he even spoke at our breed conference. I bought 12 jars of the supplements. However, some of the business practices I have encountered make me feel like I’m buying from a snake oil vendor. The most recent one? I just received an email to review the product which asked me what my rating would be. I selected "Average," which is actually my experience using this product with 4 dogs for 3 weeks. I was taken to a customer service contact page. When I backtracked and hit "Excellent," I was invited to leave this review. In other words, no one is allowed to leave anything except favorable reviews. Very shady. Also, the infomercial, in particular, was just overkill, like something you would see on late late night TV. While Dr. Richter does rely on traditional veterinary medical science with proper scientific method, much is based on "his experience." While anecdotal evidence sometimes is "best evidence" in science, I would feel better if he could provide some scientific studies as to the alternative "holistic" ingredients in this supplement. Just gave me a bad taste in my mouth, especially for such a well respected professional as Dr. Richter.

A Nutra Thrive employee by the name of Shayne has since reached out and is working to correct the situation. I don't change my recommendation, but at least this person seems dedicated to rectifying the previous misbehavior of the company.

Excellent product, dog thrives, stabilizes the digestive system. Gave into food once each day. She ate vigorously. Improved energy and activity. Recommend for dogs of all ages. Our Wheaten Terrier is 2+ years old.

I can't say whether it works or not because mine has what looks like a seal that was removed and a container without a scoop. Thanks, always wanted a paper weight with the picture of not my dog on it.

I was very skeptical but desperate when I first ordered this stuff for my scrawny, 10-year-old, ailing cat. The vet had offered up a solution involving $1000's for tests, etc.

But after only 4 days on Nutra Thrive, her fur became beautifully soft and shiny again. And she started jumping up and down the cat tree again. And now, after a month, she's getting chubby again. Her bathroom habits are perfect. She really seems to like this stuff, so she eats more.

Wish they made this for people.
