Try it

By Scott S. , Los Angeles, CA

I have seen all the complaints about this and that for this program. The truth is people will complain about anything (good or bad). Most people got into this situation (diabetes) because they are lazy, in denial, lack motivation, it's too complicated to figure out, depressed or whatever.

I certainly fall into one or more of those categories myself, however, I have found that when information is given to you in just the right way, whether it has been copied, reconfigured or jazzed up buy the person offering it, the only thing that matters is "Do you get it now" and is it helping you? For me, this is presented in a way that I GET IT and I am motivated for the first time to really try. I hate pills, doctors and big Pharma telling me how to live my Life, so I am happy (so far) to find this information.

I do feel that she is pushing the blood sugar stabilizer but just don't buy it!

Reads easily and makes sense!

By Lynn Jewell Banta, Wichita, Kansas, Verified Reviewer

I have just finished this book that my husband ordered. I really think it makes a lot of sense. I have been eating low carb for a number of years to help control my weight problem. I am NOT diabetic but I do know that eating this way makes a lot of sense and makes me feel great. My husband who is diabetic type 2 has a sweet tooth and still desires sugar. I really believe if I can get him to eat this way he will have a dramatic improvement in his blood sugar levels and his A1C.

I did not receive all of the other materials that were supposedly coming with this book. All I have is the book. I am going to call the company and ask them how I can get the other materials. Because I do believe that a shopping list and a suggestion of diet plans would be very helpful. I did not find anything fraudulent or bad about this diet plan I thought it made a lot of sense. There was an attempt to sell my husband vitamins and other types of products but he did not order them. So the basic plan if you can follow it I think would be beneficial and can't help but help diabetics improve.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Happy customer!

By Jerrod Boyd, Dallas, Tx, Verified Reviewer

The only thing I didn't enjoy was the sales video, it was lengthy and took over 30 minutes. I declined the other products they try to sell you and did buy the book.

Once my order was made, I was able to download the PDFs on all that came with book and even the book. The book is an easy read and so was the 7 day meal plan and the other materials. The next week I receive the paper back copy of the book.

Smart Blood Sugar works for me down under

By Paul Clauson, Cleveland, Queensland, Australia, Verified Reviewer

My doctor suggested that I might be a borderline pre-diabetic. He confirmed this with blood tests. I was prescribed an oral medication called Metec (I think it is called) and to take one tablet with my evening meal.

I found Smart Blood Sugar while looking online at articles on diabetes and watched the overly long, but nonetheless informative video and purchased the book and read it cover to cover when it eventually arrived with the bottles of Glucoburn. I had already cut down dramatically on my carbohydrate intake but had not lost any weight before reading the book and adding the Glucoburn to my diet. I began to follow the program in the book and balancing out my carbs and keeping some real fat in my diet in the form of yogurt, avocados, dairy, chicken and red meat in sensible proportions. Weight loss became apparent within a very short time. I lost five kgs (11 lbs approximately) within a couple of weeks. My waking blood sugar level is now down to 4.5 - 5.5 and post prandial is 6.7 maximum and back to 5.0 - 4.5 after one and a half or two hours. I have to have all my trousers taken in a small price to pay in my opinion. I also take one tablespoon of apple cider (with the mother) before bed every evening with a cup of green tea.

This program works, but you need to discipline yourself.

Going all out

By Ana C., Lewisville, TX, Verified Reviewer

I had been using GlucoBurn for many years when I developed steroid induced Type II Diabetes.

Even after the slow titration down of the steroids, the gift of T2D stayed. When I started using GlucoBurn, I finally went into "remission."

Unfortunately, my health has taken a turn nosedive, and here I am, back on time released Metformin, because it gives me terrible diarrhea.

I was VB on auto shipments, and I am a procrastinator, and though I intended to cancel, never did. I recently started taking GlucoBurn and another supplement I had grown to trust from results and kicking it up with the GlucoBurn, I finally got my first result under 120, from the high 180's.

Yes, I will continue taking. Should not have stopped, not I did this without the book, etc.

Just found out about the whole program, and YES, I signed up, especially for the shopping lists. I have been studying A LOT about nutrition and all three crap that is in everything, like HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP/ POISON (did you know their manufacturer is petitioning the FDA to change the name to something less threatening or RECOGNIZABLE!)!

QUITE FRANKLY, anything this inexpensive is worth trying to keep from losing my foot or eyesight! The doctor is in the DFW area. So am I. I intend to make an appointment. Circumin with Bioperine, I believe kept me alive from cancer, and I wholeheartedly believe in natural supplements. But, buyer beware. There is a whole lot of unregulated fairy dusting going on. Check it out.

Bottom line. Only gave current experience 5 stars because I have not started the complete program yet. When I do, I plan to update this review in 60 days. But GLUCOBURN does help. Whatever you do, stay away from Sytra 5. I believe that is what it is now being called. Very toxic. Very dangerous. I truly believe if I had continued using and tried to ignore the side effects that it would have killed me after it shut down my kidneys and liver.

Smart Blood Sugar

By Sandra Gould , Naples, FL

This book confirms everything I have learned over the past several years. I have been eating this way for more than a year. My weight loss began when I gave up the low fat grocery store choices and started eating butter, olive and coconut oils. The added bonus is that my high cholesterol dropped 100 points.

So Far So Very Good

By Bobby Weatherly , Vicksburg, MS

I'm about 25 days into trying the plan and the supplement. At this point it's hard for me to stay to the 60 carbs per day consistently, however, I have gotten excellent results so far. For five days now I have not required any insulin to maintain healthy blood glucose levels and I have lost weight while being about 50% consistent with the exercise suggestions. I would recommend this to diabetics like myself to try as there's not much to lose. except things like required insulin and weight. It seems to be working with me, I let you know in a year or so.

So Far, So GOOD.

By Maria , Overland Park, KS

I have not begun the program yet, I will start tomorrow, lol! Famous last words. Seriously, I am scared of several things: my waistline, my swollen ankles, my legs hurt, I am tired all the time, I can't sleep, and the list goes on and on. I was told I am teetering on Type II but continued to eat poorly. Never processed foods but SUGAR is the worst addiction for me. I came across Primal Health on in internet so I bought the program and the weekly meal plan, which is awesome. I am a good cook and I cook from scratch daily so this should be no problem for me. I love that I don't have to THINK about what I am having for dinner, let alone plan and shop for it. Lucky for me I am not a picky eater and love everything (except okra and brussel sprouts). I agree the video presentation is frustrating and, of course, they try to get you to buy additional products. They ALL do that now, but I refused and only got he meal planner. My basic review today is for the excellent customer service I received from CS rep Keith Peterson. He was nice and attended to my every need immediately. The food program is a no-brainer, duh. White bread (and its derivatives), sugar and starch are the enemy. Fat is your friend. Healthy oils, fish, meat, poultry, real butter and cream. I am committed to take charge of my health, tomorrow. :-) Good luck to everyone.

Good product

By Kristine , Bedford, OH

I bought this product because it was stated as a natural way to reduce blood sugar. It has helped. My numbers were in the high 200s to 300. I am now in the high 100s to the low 200s. I am still in need of more exercise and to lower my carb intake some more, but I have not changed any habits since starting this. I have seen better results with this than with any other product I have used. I am pleased and will continue using this product.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Changed My Life

By Jackie, Greenville, NC, Verified Reviewer

I rarely write reviews but when I saw the lame reviews (I didn't get a receipt, I got some junk emails) posted on here I decided to write something real and credible.

On 12/30/15 my blood sugar was 317 taken approximately 3 hours after a meal with no medications - I couldn't tolerate some of the diabetic medications and refused to take some of the newer drugs due to the horrendous damage they can do to your body. The wake-up call was when my doctor wanted to put me on insulin.

On 1/4/16 I started following the book (not buying anything else from the author's company). I went hardcore low carbs because I desperately needed to change my life.

On 1/6/16 my blood sugar was 178 same conditions above and without exercise. I plan to start an exercise program tomorrow and will definitely following the book's recommendations.

When reading other reviews, you can either pass this up because of a junk email or you can get your life back.

If you follow the book it will work

By Anthony , Toms River, NJ

I listened to the video and even though I hate those things, I still stuck with it. I bought the product and followed it. I lost 15 lbs. Also, take there supplements, they are a little pricey but the quality is excellent.

A very good product.
