Did not deliver as promised

Our son had a 6-month supply of SmileDirect aligners. One of his aligners in month 4 was made incorrectly. SmileDirect acknowledged their error and offered to remake his aligners.

We were told on September 9th that his corrected aligners were being processed. It's now October 31st and no new aligners. I call each week and I'm told they will ship "next week".

In the meantime, our son's teeth must have shifted back, since he has not been able to wear any aligners.

$1800 has been wasted by a service that can't deliver...

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Fantastic company

They do it right!

Finally a company that utilizes technology and doing everything possible to deliver results at the fraction of the cost with exceptional customer service!

We were in the Northville office and the ladies were fantastic.

Will recommend this service to all our friends.

No surprise all the orthodontists are protesting against this company as it may get them out of business.

This eliminates the need to drive to the office and pay all those extra unnecessary fees. All the visits can be done remotely and from any spot on the planet.

Love the company and the concept.

Deineira

The SmileDirectClub bus came though my small town today which I thought was pretty cool since we are so small of a town. Upon arrival for my appointment, I was immediately greeted by Deineira, she was extremely nice and personable. Overall my experience with her was awesome! She answered all my questions I could think of at the moment. The only disappointing part was that I received a bright on kit as incentives for signing up today and as I went to use it this evening my gel pen would not push the product out no matter how many times I twisted it.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Mediocre

SmileDirect did alright for straightening my teeth - there is no doubt that they have improved, but I still have 2 teeth that stubbornly won't move. I have contacted the company, and spent weeks in back and forth emails trying to get a re-evaluation, and they have "customer service care" individuals who basically are the go-betweens with the actual orthodontists. They keep telling me I need to send in pics, and when I do, I need to label which teeth are a problem, etc. etc. I have sent countless emails and their customer service is NON EXISTENT. Basically, you get what you get. For the $1800, you better hope it works because there is no recourse. It would be a great deal for straightening teeth if they would work out their lack of customer service.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Buyer beware - dismal customer service, on third series of trays

Buyer beware. Great brand promise, huge disappointment in delivering on that promise. I'm on my third series with SmileDirectClub, with huge delays in production and responsiveness between each updated set of trays, and lack of real customer service. Despite a very simple treatment plan to close a gap in my two front teeth (had braces as a teenager). You can't ever speak to a qualified dental person. It's clear the company cares more about making the sale/customer acquisition than actually fulfilling on existing customers.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Terrible service, not aligned yet in 9 weeks!

They say 3-4 weeks for your aligners, it’s been over 9 weeks and still nothing. When you call they have no idea when they will arrive! They were quick to take my money but I still have no idea if the aligners will ever arrive! No communication whatsoever.

My visit went great! Everyone I met was friendly and helpful. Sarai completed my scan. She answered all my questions and showed me what the kit would look like. Sarai was very professional throughout my visit and I did not feel pressured at all to make a decision.

Initial Consult was a great experience

I arrived early for my appointment as a new client and didn't expect to be seen early but actually I was! Customer service was outstanding and very professional. I would consider the company to be an "upscale dentistry" and I would most definitely recommend family and friends. Overall I was pleased with my experience, rating at 8 can't give a 10 because service isn't completed.

Great first visit!

Going to get my evaluation was so easy! It was very quick and organized and easy check-in. Kacie did my evaluation and she was incredibly nice! So pleasant to work with and extremely helpful with information and checking with me for understanding. The photo/scan process went very smoothly, Kacie did a great job explaining what she was going to do first and making it a smooth experience. Thanks!

Orders delayed

Only get if you have enough patience because they take their time to manufacture and ship aligners, and if for some reason you have any problem with your aligners, good luck waiting for new aligners as it could take another month or 2, so basically if they say your treatment is for 6 months, keep that in mind it could be 10 months with all the delays.
