I was pleasantly pleased with the ease of my refi (I was looking to take out equity in my home to do a remodel). The process was very quick and easy, they are with you every step of the way, always ready to answer any questions you may have. I basically did everything online except the closing, and that was very fast and efficient done within 30 minutes.

I would definitely recommend Quicken Loans/Rocket Mortgage to my family and friends.

With Rocket, we got 100% of what was promised, no hassles, and extremely professional individuals who are dedicated to making this process a great customer experience. I could not be happier with this. I refinanced and closed in two weeks!

Phone calls were returned the same day within hours. Emails returned promptly. Acknowledgement of documents received almost instantly.

My wife and I have been a customer for 15 months and have had several experiences with the Corporate Office regarding property taxes. I am 100% military disabled and do not pay property taxes in Tennessee. With the requirement to escrow, the tax, and my situation, it was handled most efficiently and with no problems reducing my home payment because of the reduced escrow needed. Everyone I have dealt with has been very professional and excellent customer service response. I would recommend Rocket Mortgage based on my experience with them.

I had a very good experience with Rocket Mortgage. Everything was organized, and I liked the to-do list on the website to manage the myriad of documents required.

ALL of the people I interacted with online we courteous, knowledgeable and professional. They answered my questions quickly and with enough depth to allow me to understand why a document was needed or how long processes should take during the mortgage commitment process.

I have bought and sold close to 10 homes in the last 45 years. This process was the simplest and most accurate I have experienced in all that time.

I've been interested in refinancing my home for a while, but I did not feel like going through the process. On a whim, I put in my info for a Rocket Mortgage quote. I was approved instantly but was still hesitant. I completed the paperwork quickly, which consisted of a quick application completed all online and submission of pay stubs and tax returns. There were a couple of things that came up where they asked for a letter of explanation. I prepared and signed a letter, which was reviewed the same day.

Everything that was requested, which wasn't much, was reviewed within 24 hours of submission. The process was very transparent. I was able to see the status of every item along the way. I started the application around January 17th. I closed around February 4th. My loan was paid off on February 11th (yes, I know that was a Sunday, but that was the day my balance was updated to $0).

The process was smooth, quick, and efficient. I would definitely use Quicken/Rocket Mortgage again.

Every team member I encountered was courteous and always expressed they were here to help with every aspect. I absolutely loved the Rocket Mortgage website where documents and messages could be uploaded instantly! Very convenient! Responses were always timely, and the staff was there to answer any questions and very prompt on any additional info needed and how they could help you obtain the information. Great experience! From the moment that I started my online chat until the moment that I closed, I can honestly say that I've never had a more seamless process done with regard to my mortgage. When everyone else said "no," Quicken Loans Rocket Mortgage said "yes!" This is the easiest financial process that I've been through since owning my home!

It was very easy from beginning to end, and also very fast. Other people that I know that bought houses couldn't believe how fast my loan process went. And also, what a low APR I got. If you ever have questions, it is very easy to get answers either over the phone, text, email, or their phone app or website.

From the very beginning, they were rude and pushy.

I talked with a guy named Mike Yaldoo and told him I was shopping around before making a decision and wanted to see if he could give me a good faith estimate sent to my email. Absolutely no other company had a problem with giving me a complete breakdown of the estimated costs, but Mike did.

He gives me a rate and wants to immediately get started with all the paperwork. I say “Ok great, but can you send me a breakdown of the costs so I can compare it with other companies and then make a decision?” His response: “What, are you calling me a liar?”

I had my dad in the room to help me with the whole process because I am a first time home buyer. My dad gets on the phone and calmly says to Mike, “No, not calling you a liar Mike, just want a good faith estimate on paper.” It took a little more talking before he told me that I needed to log in to Rocket Mortgage to see the breakdown.

Mike calls me later when I don’t have my dad around and tries to take advantage of that and makes me tell him if he even has a chance at being chosen and tries to make me choose him right there, telling me that my closing date is very tight and we needed to get started NOW. It just made them sound desperate for customers, and at that point, I was set on not choosing them. They had the highest rate of all the other mortgage companies and were rude and pushy. I wish I did not waste my time even calling them.

But it didn’t stop there. They continued calling me non-stop. I did ignore the calls at first because I didn’t want them trying to push me and I just really didn’t want to deal with them again. But one day they call from a different number, and I answer. I tell them I went with someone else. Now, anyone else would have left it at that, but no, not Quicken Loans/Rocket Mortgage. They say “Oh we caught you just in time!” And try to transfer me to someone to talk more. I hung up.

My closing date was in less than two weeks at that point. I don’t understand why they thought they could convince me to change at that point in the process, especially when they made a big deal of the tight schedule when I had a month to close. I’m writing this review now because they JUST tried to call me again, after I’ve told them no. I’m fed up with them.
