Hubble Contacts

First I ordered ONE trial order. What they fail to tell you is that they will auto-charge your card $36 in a few weeks and send you more contacts. When this happened I cancelled my subscription solely based on this dishonest business scam.

When I actually tried the contacts they were scratchy and were in no way as good as my Acuvue day and night lenses. I couldn't even wear them for an hour.

Then when I finally got this $36 box they didn't advertise adequately enough so that you were aware and informed, I followed the instructions and send the box back. They do not give you a full refund and take $11 out for a "restocking fee" and shipping and handling.

Bottom line, it was a scam to me because it wasn't honest business and it was a crap product.

My contacts always arrive about a day or two before I need them. They are always quality. It’s more convenient and less expensive than buying them a year at a time. I like that I don’t have to keep track of reordering contacts every month.

I love these contacts! I used to wear the extended wear contacts because I couldn't afford the cost of the daily ones. I would get dry eyes, and my vision would get blurry because of the build-up on the contacts, even though I soaked them every night and never slept in them.

I saw an ad for these and thought I would give them a try. I love them; they are so comfortable and easy to use. I will never go back to the others.

These contacts are the absolute worst. They are uncomfortable from the first instant; they feel as regular contacts do that are worn far past their replacement date. Or contacts that have been in your eyes for 12 hours. My eyes were dry, tired all day and my vision, as a result, was blurry.

Terrible product.

On the plus side, many people have complained about how difficult it was to cancel their subscription, and I had no such problems.

Do NOT give your credit card information to this company. Hubble never contacted my doctor for my prescription, as they claimed they would upon signing up for the free trial. If they had, I would have been mailed contacts that were the correct prescription.

I called customer support and asked when I could expect my refund - after I complied with Hubble's automated instructions to "simply" write "return to sender" on the package.

The rep clearly had no authority to issue a refund. I argued that I shouldn't have to wait for proof that the package was returned in order to get refunded when I was charged without before I received a package I did not consent to have mailed in the first place. She said she was going to pass my number on to her supervisor. Nobody from Hubble has called me.

I then sent an email to Hubble's support. I got a response from "Sean," saying that "return to sender," packages take "quite longer," to receive. (If there is a quicker and more efficient way to return the contacts, Hubble doesn't say what this is.)

I then received a message from a third-party asking that I review Sean's response to me.

The only review that matters is my review of Hubble. Hubble sucks. Hubble is shady. And I can think of at least three sources that offer contacts more cheaply, that won't mess up your prescription and offer way better customer support.

I signed up with Hubble to try out if the hype of "affordable" contact lenses holds up with quality and comfort. It does not. The lenses are okay for a short-term solution, but for all-day wear that includes sports activity and indoor/outdoor transitions the lenses become itchy and do not stay moist. Only one curvature is availablebthat does not ideally fit in all eyes. The lense even becomes bothersome in windy or super dry conditions like California or when bicycling.

My biggest struggle, however, is the setup of cancellation policies. Even after sending numerous emails requesting a cancellation my credit card was charged, and I received a shipment of more unusable lenses. I did call in and requested a total stop of all transactions and the salesperson said she would send a free package for my troubles...not sure why sending more lenses would change my mind?

Another month passed, and yet again I was charged and shipped more lenses. Again I send emails and picked up the phone explaining I was DONE with my Hubble experience. I received an email stating that cancellation could only be done by calling the correct phone number (which was not attached to the email).

On my Hubble profile, I changed my info and credit card settings, hoping this would be the end of it, but darn, yesterday another charge occurred, and I received a confirmation that my contacts were on the way!

My original prescription has changed since and yet, this company is force-feeding me uncomfortable lenses I have requested on all levels to be stopped!

The fact a website makes it impossible to simply cancel a subscription should be a warning sign!

Easy to sign up, fast delivery. Terrible service and contact.

When you enter your card details for the trial, you are also entered for a monthly subscription (which of course you can "choose to cancel at any time"). BUT they make it near impossible for you to do so as you cannot manually do this yourself on the website, instead you have to CALL them during their working hours with a reason that they accept, otherwise, they will not process the cancellation.

For me, this was impossible, so I ended up having to email multiple times so they could remove my details and to remove my account completely. This was done by different people who seem to be working from different countries e.g., the Philippines.

I was lucky to have had noticed this fault of their cancellation process and dealt with it quickly, others were charged automatically as it was out of their own hands.

FAULTS:

Unable to manually remove details, unable to cancel orders, and unable to write your own reviews on their website. Seems fishy doesn't it? All negative/truthful reviews are made outside their website as they prevent them from being made in the first place. It's a shame really.

To me, if you want a price similar to what Hubble offers, Acuvue moist contacts will do the job and offer better services, they don't hide anything, and it is a trusted brand that I have been using for years.

Everything seems great when you get a one-month free box, but after one month you have to cancel the subscription by calling their hotline, which is only from 9-5 on weekdays. If you forget to subscribe, you will have to pay $44 plus shipping for contact lenses that are not quality at all. As a long time contact lenses user, I have to honestly say they are uncomfortable and it feels like its poking your eye. I can't tell how many times I had to remove my lenses the first hour as it was hurting too much. Overall the free trial is good and all for beginners, but for a so much cheaper price, you can find better lenses.

I love Hubble! So easy to order, navigate their site, always comes on time. I will never get contacts anywhere else! So easy, quick and reliable. Also changed me to a daily contact wearer! Now I never have to worry about if I lose a contact or damage one like I did with monthlies and I can just take them out before bed. Life changer.

Best thing I have ever done. It is so convenient, and it is super cheap, which is nice. I am a broke college student so the fact that it is cheap and good quality. I especially like the decorative boxes that each set comes in. It just adds a little flare to my boring day at the office.

I order my contacts through here and they are at such a great price, and the contacts are very comfortable to wear! They come in a week in the mail. I only use Hubble Contacts now. I even got my first month of contacts for free, only paid for shipping when I signed up. Customer service is very nice and helpful all the time I call.
