Good

They could add more high-end cologne such as Creed or Chanel. The bottles could be a little bigger. Maybe they could offer two cologne a month, send out a few free samples, possible offer shirts with the cologne; nothing crazy, just a t-shirt. I love Scentbird knowing I get something once a month, but I go through it in two weeks. I love the easy carry case.

Beautiful scent

I love the newest Scentbird offer. Most winter perfumes can be heavy and have strong undertones of amber and sandalwood. This perfume is clean and light and airy. It does not overpower and does not stay longer than it should.

Good scents, horrible service

I joined in November, just recently got my first cologne, and it's almost the middle of January. I left countless emails and only get standard, computer-generated responses. I paid for three scents only got one.

Love the Scentbird subscription!

Amazing!

I have spent hundreds of dollars on perfumes that I never use because they were impulse purchases! I love the cute purse carrier for the fragrance tubes. Scentbird experience

Love this site!

I have been with Scentbird for about a year now and enjoyed the fragrances I chose every time. Great brands to try without having to spend too much. I have found some wonderful scents only because of this site. THANK YOU! I'm addicted. Very nice brands like Amouage, Tom Ford, Montale, Regime Des Fleurs. Which are my favorites. I really recommend Scentbird. You can't go wrong with this!

Horrible shipping, horrible customer service

I really like the concept of this, and I get over ten subscription boxes a month, but Scentbird is the absolute worst in terms of shipping and customer service.

I get billed in the beginning of the month, my box doesn't ship out until around the 20th, and I don't receive it until well into the next month after I've been charged for another month. I've never had this issue with any other sub box. I still haven't received my December choices, and my shipping never updates. I have zero clue where it is and when receiving it. I hands down don't think a customer should be charged for a new month if they haven't received the last month's items. Every month I email, around a week later I will get the same response, "this isn't up to Scentbird's standards."

Nothing is done about it, and nothing changes.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I love it

I love Scentbird! It is a great way to preview new scents every month! I also like the fact that it's not expensive either. Scentbird has great customer service and is always striving to bring fresh new ideas to the table through the feedback of their patrons. What my likes and dislikes are

I love that I can try out high-end fragrances before I purchase the bigger bottle. What I would love to change is when I receive my products. For example, they send me the date when I should receive the fragrance and then it doesn’t show up for another week or so.

My experience

For the most part, I have been happy with my experience with Scentbird. I am disappointed that some of my favorite scents are no longer available through Scentbird. I do not like that you cannot order the same scent consecutively.

It would be nice if you offered scents from the classic perfume houses such as Chanel, Land in. Dior, etc.

Timely deliveries

I get billed for Scentbird the first week of the month and then I don't see it until the end of the month. Why does it take so long? I am unsure if I will continue the service. The choices are mostly floral, which I don't like, or the description says "woodsy," and it's floral. I am getting dissatisfied.

In love!

I am so glad I found Scentbird! The nearest department store is over an hour away, and Scentbird makes it possible for me to check out new scents without taking the time to travel out of my way. My DKNY MYNY

It was difficult to get it to spray, but after several attempts, it finally started to spray slowly. I love this scent and would like to order it again. To me, the scent is soft, yet long-lasting, but it's not overpowering, and I wouldn't mind making this my scent for some time to come.

A little too pricey and slow shipping

It is better to just go to the department store and buy a bottle. Sample bottles leak, and you've wasted your $15. It is a hit or miss with the scents. It is better just to smell at the store and shoot around online for a full-size bottle. Not worth the money.

Don’t expect to EVER talk to someone

I like receiving the samples, it’s great! I have referred friends and received an email that two friends bought/signed up, but I have never been contacted or received anything free, nor have I been directed to pick my free item.

I have had two shipments that didn’t make delivery, and this is the second time my shipment has been lost or whatever the case may be. It is getting very disappointing. I have yet to get the second one resolved. I do not like doing business with a company that will not call you nor can you call them!

I will no longer refer, at least not until this is resolved.

A nice way to try new perfumes

I do not wear perfume daily, and I am not a signature scent sort of person. I like to mix it up and try out new things. I figured Scentbird would be a good way to give myself a nice selection of scents to wear to keep things varied.

I think the quantity of product and overall price is fair. My complaint is that I feel the descriptions are off. Scent is highly personal, and I understand everyone can smell different things, but I'm six months in, and I don't LOVE anything I've received. I've also had one perfume that I was never able to review as the scent choice mysteriously vanished. That's pretty damn suspect imo. I was sent an email being offered a second free case, which I never received.

The case is a little problematic as well, and I find the spray works better without the case, but doesn't look nice, stand well, and isn't protected without it. I'm several months in and was just about to cancel my subscription, but this month's scent is one I've been wanting to try, so I'm holding out another month. I will likely cancel for a bit after that.

If you wear perfume a lot and like to mix it up, and are willing to share or swap the scents you don't love, I say go for it.

Such a fantastic concept

I started with Scentbird almost a year ago, because I was looking for a new scent. I like to have a "signature" scent and carried my last one, Davidoff's Cool Water, for almost 10 years. It was time for a change. What better way to do this than with samples that you can use more than once to see if it is a "fit" for you.

When going to a store, you sample perfume and seem to like it, so you spend $80 to $100 on a scent that you later find out doesn't last long enough, or turns on you when faced with different daily activities.

With Scentbird, you can use a scent for a whole month and really find out if the scent is right for you. I have never been happier.

Positives and negatives

I love the idea of Scentbird and have been pretty happy with my choices.

I decided to do Scentbird so that I could try perfumes that I had never heard of or worn before. The descriptions are important to me in order for me to make a choice for something I think I will like. The descriptions, for the most part, have been pretty spot on and I have received a lot of perfumes that I was happy with, however, I do feel that the descriptors could use a little more work, especially the test deal that you take that helps formulate the perfumes you may like.

The only negative is the website; it's not user-friendly and a bit confusing. Other than that, I have been extremely happy with this concept and continue to tell my friends about it. I also plan to continue another year or so because I just love trying out so many unique and eclectic perfumes!

Half and half

Finding some new colognes was exciting! The bad part is I had to receive about 15-bottles worth that I didn't like at almost $15 a piece. That's roughly $225 that I don't want/need/disliked, which is starting to make me uncomfortable spending my hard earned money on things I cannot test first to see! I am considering stopping my payments due to the financial side effects! Thanks.
