Vital Reds

By Max F., Texas, Verified Reviewer

I took the full bottle of Vital Reds per the directions.

My opinion - pixie dust...expensive pixie dust.

A complete waste of money for me. It might help someone who is deficient in the critical aspects of this formula. It does not have enough of each ingredient to make a real difference as far as I could experience.

It did not work for me. I should have asked for my money back.

I do not recommend this supplement.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Diarrhea and bad customer service to boot

By Stephen D., Florida, Verified Reviewer

After three days my wife and I had diarrhea and tummy aches. We ordered Vital Reds but were sent Primal Plants too, and charged four hundred dollars, which was never refunded after calling many times. My wife developed fissures and it took a couple of weeks for her to get over it. Terrible product for seniors. I say scam...

Scoop?

By Roger H., Richmond, Nelson, New Zealand, Verified Reviewer

Yesterday I received my first container of Vital Reds, but no scoop! So how much to use? Product was well packaged and powder sealed in so withstood the post to NZ. I haven’t tried it yet so cannot recommend it at this time.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Roger, I'm very sorry to hear that your Vital Reds container did not have a scoop. Every container should contain one. I will process a reship for another container immediately! The date of Vital Reds was expired

By Ariane U., New York, Verified Reviewer

I ordered 6 bottles of Vital Reds and all of them were expired and no scoop.

I received them today, April 18, 2020.

Can't recommend because this product is old and what is the measure of the scoop if you don't include it?

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Company Response from Gundry MD

Hi Ariane, thank you for giving Vital Reds a try. I want to note that the date we have printed on the bottom of our products are our Manufactured Date. Vital Reds shelf life is 1 year so your products should be safe to use for 1 year after the date printed on the bottom. In regards to the scooper, each container should have its own scooper so I'm very sorry yours did not. I want to apologize for the inconvenience and I'd be happy to reship your order for you! I've gone ahead and started the reshipment for you. If you have any other questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to me at aria@gundrymd.com.

Vital Reds Review

By Bill Elkins, Missouri, Verified Reviewer

After a few days of taking this product my blood pressure elevated to a reading of 164/96. Prior to taking this product my readings were 120/77. I stopped the Vital Reds and after two days my readings were back to about normal. This morning my reading was 124/80. I was really hoping that this product would help my immune system.

Not sure yet.

By Casey Reisner, Massachusetts, Verified Reviewer

I have IBS / Crohn's Disease and my energy is always extremely low. I was hoping this would help me but I am on day 3 and so far it seems to just be exacerbating my symptoms. I am in the bathroom about 8 times a day and beyond exhausted. My stomach is so swollen despite having nothing left in it!

I am not sure if this is the part of the process, to clear things out and then build up, but I definitely feel terrible.

I am going to hold out for 3 weeks and see if things get better. But currently, it is making me feel worse.

3 weeks in

By Mitt, Pittsfield, MA, Verified Reviewer

Not sure that this product has done a lot for me, yet. Propaganda says you should use for 30 days. Other reviews comment on inconsistencies about using either 8 or 12 ounces of water with it. Correct, it is inconsistent. I see no harm in using more water. Regarding taste? Maybe I have a different batch. There is no real taste to this. The best thing I can say is that the taste is benign, maybe a little chalky. Other similar blends that are 'green', was holding my nose while I swallowed. To that extent, I am able to intake without having to hold my nose. Miracle energy, cures, growing new skin, teeth or regaining 20 years life - No. I am careful with my diet. Use a number of supplements: Calcium, Magnesium, Selenium, Collagen, probiotics, exercise daily, have essentially met a near 'vegan' existence. I have enough energy. I will update. PS. I found a very similarly blended product at Wal-Mart. Almost identical at 1/3 the price. Problem: Wal-Mart has been caught multiple times pushing supplements that are nothing more than dried pea powder or similar, so, I am very reluctant.

I tried to submit this answer. THEY ARE FORCING ME TO EITHER RECOMMEND OR NOT. I smell a rat and am tired of high-handed constant pushes to buy more product. Hope this is not one of them. At this point, no recommendation until the 30 days elapses.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Thank you for sharing your experience. Vital Reds is a proprietary blend of the highest quality plant extracts, polyphenols, probiotics, and other essential nutrients personally selected by Dr. Gundry himself. While we do not make any claims regarding growing teeth or living longer, thousands of customers and Dr. Gundry's patients have reported this formula has given them more energy, better digestion, and improved overall health, among other benefits. We do recommend giving the formula a full 30 days before deciding if it's right for you, and if it isn't, all customers are welcome to take advantage of our full money-back guarantee. Thank you again for your comments, and for trying out Vital Reds.

Does it really work?

By Lynetta, WA, Verified Reviewer

I started taking Vital Reds just shy of a month and have not noticed any difference in how I feel. I've taken it every day and was hoping to feel some difference with my IBS and energy level but have not felt any difference, I was really hoping that I would. I will continue to take it just for the vitamin benefits and see if by the end it helps relieve the other symptoms or at least help them. Otherwise, I most likely will not spend another $49.95. So, at this point, I won't recommend it until I see a change.

Contains Milk

By Audrey, Texas, Verified Reviewer

The video explicitly stated no dairy products would be used in Vital Reds. At the very bottom of the ingredient label, it states boldly "CONTAINS MILK". I am highly sensitive to milk in many forms. How can I trust that this product won't affect my digestive system? Yes, I read all the ingredients and saw many beneficial supplements that combat IBS and upset stomach, and digestive issues (e.g. Bacillus, Lactobacillus).

I personally don't like the way products containing milk don't seem to mix well with water or how they taste! Also, where is the cGMP stamp of production? I just want to be assured that I'm not wasting $49.95 plus shipping and handling. Please advise. I can't recommend until I know all the facts first.

Thank you for your comment! The label on Vital Reds is not accurate. To clarify, the probiotics included in Vital Reds are cultured in milk; however, Vital Reds does not contain milk itself. Vital Reds is completely lactose free, and is compatible with any diet. We are actively working to correct this information on the label, so that in the future it will not say "Conatins Milk." We apologize for any confusion.

If you have any additional questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me at aria@gundrymd.com. Thanks Audrey!

Not for me. Refund details you need to know

By Don, Terre Haute, IN, Verified Reviewer

I have tried various supplements in the past with little to no effect. After watching the Gundry MD Vital Reds video, it seemed viable and worth a shot.

I have been taking this product for about 6 weeks. I had read about how this product made some people feel sick, possibly due to detoxification in the beginning so I followed label directions exactly.

I did not have any of those effects, or any effect what so ever for that matter. After about 3 weeks I increased the dose by half, now taking a scoop and a half each morning.

I have been taking that amount for about a month now and still, no marked results. I'm not saying this product is a scam or anything. The science is there, just that it just doesn't seem to work for me. I mixed with orange juice and it does not have a bad taste at all, easy to mix and take all pluses.

In the end, I decided to get a refund on this product. Now what they don't tell you about your 100% money back guarantee. When I called customer service this morning I was told that I had to ship back the remaining unused contents (I hope these are not getting recycled to other customers) which is fine with me, BUT you also have to send back the EMPTY containers as well or your refund will be pro-rated. A bit odd don't you think? Especially since most people throw away empty containers when they're well, empty.

I just thought that was worthy of noting because by this logic, If I went the full 90 days before I chose to get a refund I wouldn't have gotten a refund at all. Not exactly 100% guaranteed unless you read the very fine print (which I still have not seen, was only told by customer service rep).

I am a little displeased by that. Give them a try but save all of your containers, just in case!

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Hi Don,

Let me first apologize for the confusion you had with our refund policy. As with most standard refund policies, you do have to return the product, even if completely used, in order to get a full refund.

We ask that customers return the container so we know they at least tried it, and are happy when our customers call so we can consult them to make sure they were doing everything possible to experience the great benefits of Vital Reds. If a customer calls seeking a refund for any reason, we always honor our 90-day money back guarantee.

I am very sorry to hear Vital Reds did not give you the results you were expecting, and hope you find a product that works for you. Thank you for giving Vital Reds a try, we truly appreciate your business!
