About Copper Fit Socks

Copper Fit Socks are a new type of athletic footwear that claim to combine a cotton blend fabric with a powerful copper-infused footbed that wicks moisture and prevents foot odor. On top of this, regardless of which activities you enjoy, Copper Fit Socks are claimed to feature high-quality construction and a comfortable fit for extended wear.

As any athlete (who’s required to wear shoes) will tell you, choosing the right sock can make all the difference. Socks that are too thick won’t allow your feet to breathe properly, while socks that are too thin might result in blisters. With this in mind, while Copper Fit Socks’ ability to wick moisture could be a benefit, where do they land as far as overall performance? In other words, what types of activities are they best suited for, and are they ultimately worth the price?

While Copper Fit Socks are a brand new product, we’ve reviewed numerous copper-based products here at HighYa, so allow us to help you become a more informed consumer before you hand over your hard-earned money.

How Do Copper Fit Socks Work?

Unlike Miracle Copper Socks, which are intended to be used as compression garments, Copper Fit Socks are constructed of a standard cotton blend that wicks moisture away from your feet. This, in combination with Copper Fit Socks’ copper-infused footbed, is claimed to help prevent the buildup of sweat and to help eliminate foot odor.

Despite these anti-moisture and anti-odor capabilities though, Copper Fit Socks are claimed to be durable, comfortable, and performance-oriented, regardless of the activity you’ll be using them for. On top of this, the manufacturer claims that Copper Fit Socks are equally effective for men and women.

How Much Do Copper Fit Socks Cost? Can They be Returned?

Copper Fit Socks are priced at $9.99 per pair, plus $4.99 shipping and handling, and you’ll be able to choose between ankle and calf versions. Like most “As Seen on TV” products, you can purchase a second pair of Copper Fit Socks for an additional $4.99 S&H, bringing your total to $19.97.

Copper Fit Socks come with a 30-day money back guarantee, less S&H charges. In order to initiate the refund process, you’ll need to contact customer service at 855-355-0414.

Should You Buy Copper Fit Socks?

As an athlete, you can almost certainly appreciate the moisture-wicking and anti-odor capabilities that Copper Fit Socks claim to provide. But when it comes down to it, are they worth the money and can you expect real results? Perhaps, but keep the following in mind when making your decision:

Keep Your Expectations Realistic

First and foremost, it’s important to remember that regardless of how well Copper Fit Sock’s fabric may wick away moisture, how beneficial they’ll ultimately be is dependent on a number of factors, such as the sport you’re playing and the shoes that go along with it.

For example, if you’re a runner, it’s likely that you’ll be wearing lightweight, highly breathable shoes, which will allow much of the moisture absorbed by your Copper Fit Socks to quickly evaporate. On the other hand, if you’re an equestrian enthusiast, your thick leather boots don’t provide this same level of breathability, leaving your socks to continue absorbing moisture until they can’t any longer. As a result, this brand of socks may not necessarily provide you with any long-term wicking benefits, and you may find it more cost effective to purchase “cotton blend” socks from a local retailer.

Product Information

With this in mind, other than the copper-infused footbed, the manufacturer doesn’t tell us anything that makes Copper Fit Socks any different from any other athletic sock. In other words, nearly all socks are made of some “cotton blend,” but are often priced much lower.

In other words, you’ll have to ask yourself whether or not the copper-infused fabric (and the odor prevention that comes along with it), is enough to justify the fairly high price.

Lack of Customer Reviews

Second, keep in mind that Copper Fit Socks are a brand new product (their URL was just registered in July 2014), which means that there are currently no online customer reviews that can be used to gauge satisfaction levels, which could ultimately help you make a more informed purchasing decision.

However, Copper Fit Socks are manufactured by Copper Fit, which based on nearly 40 reviews here at HighYa, seems to have a less-than-stellar reputation. As such, some of the most common complaints appear to reference poor product quality, high S&H charges, order totals that ended up much higher than the advertised price, and poor customer service.

Refund Does Not Include S&H

Next, as with most “As Seen on TV” products, Copper Fit Socks refunds do not include shipping and handling charges. While this might initially seem insignificant, the reality is that S&H charges amount to almost half of the total purchase price, even before factoring in the shipping charges you’ll incur by sending the product back to the manufacturer.

Your Info Will be Shared

Finally, Copper Fit Socks’ manufacturer may sell your information to other “reputable” companies for the purposes of marketing, which means that you might receive unwanted emails and/or phone calls soon after placing your order.

Bottom Line

Depending on the sport you play and your level of foot odor, Copper Fit Socks may provide a viable solution for excess moisture and bacteria buildup. However, you may want to find something similar at a local retailer in order to avoid the high S&H costs, as well as the possible sales calls.

Pros:

  • Copper Fit Socks claim to wick moisture and prevent odor.
  • Available in ankle and calf version.
  • 30-day money back guarantee.

Cons:

  • May not work for all athletes.
  • No online customer reviews currently available, although the manufacturer appears to have a poor online reputation.
  • Refund policy does not include S&H charges.

Awesome! Everything they say they are and more!

    • Dec 17, 2015

I bought two pair of athletic crew socks. I have been having severe nerve pain in my feet. I began wearing the Copper Fit socks and my feet immediately felt better. I don't have the severe nerve pain when I have the copper fit socks on. I am definitely purchasing more socks.

    Thank you Cooper Fit!

Good Product bought at Family Dollar

    • Clarion, PA,
    • Oct 1, 2015

They help my feet. They are starting to wear a bit but that is to be expected. The compression is still good though and no holes, so I am pretty pleased. Everyone just wants to complain now days. If they got them for free they would complain. Wake up people there is no guarantees in life. They are just socks after all, not a miracle that is going to change your life. As for the company not refunding shipping and handling charges -- why should they? They are at least giving back the money for the product you got to try out. Everybody in the US feels so entitled anymore it's ridiculous. Wonder why this country has fallen so. Everyone wake up. What makes you better than everyone else?

Glad I didn't pay full price

    • Chicago,
    • Aug 31, 2015

Walgreens had a Copper Fit products on close out, so I bought 3 two packs of socks, and 4 knee sleeves (so I could alternate wear days). After two days I was so disappointed in this over-hyped (including a Brett Favre endorsement) product that I returned all un-opened items, and the used stuff is now in the bottom of my sock drawer, for "crap I'm out of clean socks" purposes, or the bottom of the trash bin. I've often wondered if these copper based products were any good or provided any of the qualities they state are provided - and now I know. I'm just glad I bought at a close out price for the items I used and didn't return - and was glad to get my money back on the rest.

      Tecla

I bought three pairs from Walgreens and I absolutely love the comfort of it. I am on my feet at work for 8 hours and normally, I bring extra pair of socks for change at the end of my shift. The Copper Fit Socks keep my feet dry and odor free. I bought an additional six pairs.

You did not mention why you hated the socks.

    Copper Fit Socks rock!

    • Myrtle Beach, SC,
    • Aug 29, 2015

Purchased the socks and elbow band. I wanted to try out the copper pretty much due to my aches and pains and my active lifestyle. I swear it hasn't even been a whole day. Plus I worked out in the elbow band. I feel great. That slight twinge I felt in my elbow is gone. Now I'm going to see what my feet feel like by tomorrow! Thanks for reading.

    Gave it a try.

    • Springfield, MA,
    • Aug 16, 2015

My daughter can not catch a break, when it comes to her feet and the odor that follows when she wears socks and shoes. Nothing we try ever works, and so she discontinues the use of these things. We gave these a try, in shoes that had already been smell infused. Her feet came out of the shoes NOT smelling. Really wish these came in colors, though. Off to buy more!

    Works Well

    • Texas,
    • Jul 9, 2015

I'm in retail and always on my feet wearing lightweight, webbed running shoes. The Copper Fit ankle socks do absorb more and fit better than your average athletic socks (I'm always looking for a better one than the last), but they're a bit pricey. Otherwise I would have rated them higher, I guess I got what I paid for. I bought them at Walgreens' (2 for $10), so I was at least able to avoid the $5 S/H charges.

    Works

    • New York,
    • Jun 23, 2015

I'm on my feet all night long and by the end of the day they usually feel like they're in a puddle of water (yet they're not) and they definitely don't smell as bad. I've also been fighting a nail fungus on my big toe that has cleared up greatly since I've started wearing them in combination with an OTC treatment that has only been keeping it in check. I bought the Copper Fit Socks at CVS. They're a bit pricey but worth it for me so far. They fit great and my feet don't seem as sore by the end of the work day.
