Weakness from taking this product

Soon after I started taking this product, I experienced muscle weakness and fatigue. The muscle weakness reminded me of overworking my muscles in a workout. After I stopped taking the product my strength improved and within a week I was back to normal.

LeptiBurn does not work

I purchased several bottles of LeptiBurn from Biotrust. It did not work. I called to tell them, and they talked me into giving them more time. Well, it still didn't work. And then time slipped passed me and it's now past their warranty period.

They said they'd put a note in my file, but they must not have. They would not refund the money.

Don't waste your money on this. Save your money, eat well, get your exercise and get your sleep. Check with your doctor for assistance if needed.

Don't work as promised

This is a simple review. My experience with their product is that it does not deliver what is promised. It is also over priced by about a factor of 4. And the constant upselling and spam emails from them just cluttered up my life.

BioTrust Belly Trim XP - Can they be Trusted?

Very long video marketing sales pitch, which was very convincing and the upselling is very heavy. I ended up paying over $200 for six bottles. I've been taking four pills a day for two months straight with the occasional missed or forgotten moments and I have not lost a single pound. I'm eating healthier, buying much more organic and better made food, and staying away from high fructose corn syrup (the main cause for America's obesity and that's what cancer feeds on the most). I'm walking more for exercise. I have a desk job and sit most of the day.

You mentioned that you've been taking BellyTrim XP for two months as well as making better food choices. That's fantastic that you've made such significant strides toward improving your nutrition; great job! Although you've cited no change on the scale, I wonder if you've noticed any improvements in any other areas of your life (e.g., better feelings of wellbeing, energy levels, sleep quality, focus/concentration, etc.). I've often found that we have a tendency to beat ourselves up because we think we’re not making progress. Yet, the truth is, in almost every case, we’re making tons of progress. We just haven’t tracked it, and so we don’t realize it.

With that in mind, I wonder if you've monitored any other variables (e.g., anthropometrics, girth measurements, body fat percentage)? When looking at the wealth of research on the primary ingredients in BellyTrim XP (i.e., conjugated linoleic acid, CLA), CLA has consistently been shown to improve body composition (i.e., increase lean body mass, decrease body fat). What's interesting is that these improvements in body composition are not always followed by net changes in body mass.

In other words, if one is only using the scale to measure objective outcomes, s/he may be missing out on progress. In the overall scheme of things, while most folks have their eyes set on the scale (i.e., body weight, net body mass), what seems to be far more important than scale weight is body composition (i.e., percentage body fat). However, if one is only using the scale (and not assessing body fat percentage and/or taking girth measurements), then fat loss and muscle gain cannot be accurately tracked. It's completely possible for someone to be "normal" weight and overfat (which has very serious implications for health risks). Likewise, it's possible for someone to be "fat and fit." In other words, it's possible for someone to be "overweight" (by BMI standards) yet have excellent metabolic health and reduced disease risk.

With all of that being said, I sense that your goal is weight loss, and while there may be some (currently undetected) changes in body composition already present, I want to make myself available to you for direct coaching assistance in achieving your goals. My BioTrust story

When I first saw an online link to "the one-day diet", I thought to myself, what the heck is this? So I checked it out and began a whole new journey into a world of weight loss I've never achieved before. Nobody at BioTrust is paying me to say this: this is far and away the greatest thing to happen to me in years! I have failed miserably on multiple diet programs.

Not with BioTrust. Let me explain the 1 day diet premise. Drink fantastic homemade smoothies and enjoy a sensible dinner for 6 days, then on day 7 you have your 1 day to cheat, in fact, you're encouraged to cheat! I've been using BioTrust protein powder in my smoothies for 3 months and have lost 18 lbs! And what's amazing to me is I actually love eating like this. I don't miss the carbs and sugars I thought I couldn't live with out. I don't even want them! The only thing you have to buy from BioTrust is their protein powder.

They have other great products, too, but you're not pressured into buying anything else. Get the protein powder from them, buy your own almond milk, fresh fruits and veggies and you're good to go. Listen to this: I LOVE pumpkin pie. I could eat a whole pie in one sitting! How about a pumpkin pie smoothie that tastes exactly like pumpkin pie? I'm serious. All it takes is unsweetened almond milk, BioTrust vanilla protein powder, canned pumpkin purée, pumpkin pie spices and Stevia for a little more sweetness (but it isn't even necessary). Fantastic! I create all my smoothies in the Magic Bullet and it's easy as can be. Wow. True results.

I have always been an active person however, I also have always been a YoYo weight loser and gainer always gaining subsequently more. Within the last six months I had not been weighing myself and honestly letting myself go more than usual. I am 59 years old and 6' 1". After returning from the holidays in Chicago, I stepped on the scale and to my utter shock saw I weighed in at a whopping 282.5 lbs. I was devastated. This was on Jan 2, 2015. I have always used supplements and had remembered reading about BioTrust. Well I made up my mind to jump in and do the program. I do alternating days of interval cardio (Bowflex Tread Climber) and weight training consists of using light weights (10 lbs.) and doing 3 sets of 15 on 12 different upper body muscle groups. I always hated weight training but wanted to give it a go. Nutritionally I do the two shake a day (Vanilla is my favorite) with a protein based dinner by having meat, veggies, and salad. I have eliminated all the carbs and diet soda, which I was a junkie for. For snacks I will eat nuts, cashews, and pistachios on occasion. I also use the IC-5, Belly Fat burner, Pro X10, Leptiburn, and Metabo 379. I also take other vitamins and supplements.

I am the first to say using the product alone is NOT the answer. I truly believe that Interval cardio and weight training is key. The plus is by doing interval training, I spend less than a half hour per day on my workouts.

As Jim Cramer (Mad Money CNBC) would say "here's the bottom line" Today, as of February 2, 2015, I weight in at 261.2 lbs. I was shocked! I knew I was losing weight and thought it would be nice to see a 12 lb reduction but a whopping 21.3 lb weight drop was "off the charts" Cramer again.

I will be faithful to the program and will weigh in again on March 2. Plan your work and work your plan.

Customer Complaint

I would like to share my experience on BioTrust with other customers/prospective customers.

To be honest my complaint is an administration one and not with the products themselves. I am not at all happy with the way charges have been administered for products purchased from BioTrust. I originally ordered products via the website which should have totalled $174USD. I contacted BioTrust immediately by e-mail because order was incorrect as all of the boxes had been ticked on the website. I was offered 2 options for product and chose Option A which I confirmed and $84 was to be credited back to my credit card. To date this has not happened. My credit card was charged as $622.92NZD. Furthermore NZ Customs charged me fees on top of this of $197.94NZD which was equated on $735USD because BioTrust had charged this as the value of the goods.

I have been trying to sort this out with BioTrust and will also need to pay NZ Customs so I can get my goods released and then try to negotiate with them over the $735USD charged (by my calculations the total should have been $510USD.

So I guess it is fair to say I am not a happy customer.

NZ Customers need to be aware of the extra charges by NZ Customs on any goods over $400NZD. It does make purchase of USA products from BioTrust very expensive. Also it is recommended that you are vigilant over the charges that are charged to your credit card from BioTrust. It seems to be a very difficult and not user friendly process to get any over charges corrected.

Have you happened to reach out to your credit card company about this? This concerns me, and I want to make sure that this is fully taken care of.

With regard to your concerns about customs fees (i.e., duties and taxes), I am so sorry to say that this is completely out of our control, Colleen. All International orders are subject to applicable sales tax, duties, and customs charges that are determined by your local government and vary by country.

Duties, taxes, and/or customs fees represent an additional amount collected upon delivery of orders. Order confirmation details only the amount collected by BioTRUST. By law, duties and taxes shall are based on the full retail price of the products regardless of bundled pricing or other discounts on the order.

With that being said, in reviewing your customer notes, in addition to the refund, it’s my understanding that, as a courtesy to you our valued customer, our Customer Service team has offered you an in-house credit in the amount of the customs fees that you will pay for your shipment.

As far as the ordering process, I do want to confirm that we never add any additional products or charges to an order that are not approved by a customer. In other words, only products that are selected by the customer are added to the shopping cart, and the customer must approve the order by submitting credit card information and billing and shipping details. Biotrust smoothie powder

Biotrust is the real deal. I am type 2 diabetic and today before lunch (12:30pm), I checked my blood sugar and it was a whopping 215! Knowing I had already taken my Victoza that morning and had not had any sugar to cause this, I remembered the Biotrust, which I had only had for about a week. I grabbed the container of Strawberry/Banana and promptly put 4 scoops into 12 oz of water, shook it up and drank it down. At 5:30pm, I checked my blood sugar and it was a totally normal 111. The time-released smoothie had dropped my blood sugar 104 points, into the totally normal zone, in just 5 hours, without any other medicine. I am thrilled with this product and will try others since this worked so well today in my hour of major need. Biotrust, YOU ROCK.

LeptiBurn weight loss.

I seem to have been traveling quite a bit in the last two years, which makes thing more difficult because I don't have as much control when I am eating in restaurants. Nevertheless, I have lost 113 pounds.

I am 74 year old, and at one time I was 6 feet 6 inches tall. When I started taking LeptiBurn I weighed 375 pounds and now I am 262-3. I would like to lose about another 50 pounds but I seem to be stuck at my current weight and, have been, for the last two months. Any suggestions?

Although you’ve seemingly hit a bit of a plateau in your progress, I encourage you to look at this as a very positive point in your journey. Think of it this way, Mr. Coy. Only about 25 percent of people who lose a substantial amount of weight (i.e., <10 percent of body weight) are successful in keeping it off. You, on the other hand, have successfully kept off 30 percent of your body weight for two whole months. In other words, I encourage you to view this plateau as a mini-maintenance phase, which demonstrates that you can successfully maintain your weight loss. That’s a BIG win!

With that being said, there are a few factors to consider when it comes to plateaus. First off, from a physiological standpoint, there are a number of adaptations that can take place during a weight loss journey. For example, in response to a reduced-calorie intake, the body has a number of energy-preservation mechanisms (e.g., reduced metabolic rate, increased hunger and appetite, decreased spontaneous physical activity, increased muscle efficiencies, etc.) that it calls on to help match energy expenditure with energy intake.

I know, that really stinks, but the body’s primary goal is to avoid starvation—not necessarily getting into great shape. Also, another factor to consider is that, as your body changes, so too does your physiology. For example, as you lose weight, the energy cost of every activity decreases. In other words, the program that got you where you are today may not be sufficient to get you to where you ultimately want to be.

This is why it tends to be beneficial to start clients at the highest food intake and lowest physical activity levels possible. This leaves plenty of room for progression during the journey. On the contrary, many folks want to start with the most restrictive diets along with exercising 6 – 7 days per week (sometimes twice a day). How is that sustainable? And when you do hit a plateau, how do you progress from there?

From a progression standpoint, when folks hit a plateau, they generally benefit then from a combination of reducing calorie intake and increasing physical activity. Again, we’d be looking for the minimal effective dose. In other words, the smallest degree of change that produces the desired result (e.g., increase exercise volume 1 – 2 hours, reduce calorie intake 200 calories per day, etc.). With that said, it would be helpful to have a better understanding of your current nutrition plan and physical activity program to make the best possible recommendations.

One additional point to note about plateaus that sometimes goes overlooked is that quiescent periods in weight loss (i.e., plateaus) often result from intermittent lack of adherence. In other words, folks have a tendency to be a bit more forgiving about their portion sizes, food choices, exercise (e.g., missing a workout), etc., and all of those little things can add up to stalled progress. In the overall scheme of things, adherence is king. With that in mind, it may be beneficial to review compliance to make sure that this is not an issue for you.

What a great company and product

Improved skin, hair, and joint health for my mom

Two months ago, my mom injured her knee, and she asked me if I knew of anything that might help her recover a bit faster. I went to a friend who recommended she try BioTrust's Ageless Body combined with Joint 33X. I liked the company (I love their Low Carb), so I bought a bottle of each for her to give a try. A couple of weeks later, she asked me to buy her more because she really liked them (I was pretty surprised as she's not always good at taking supplements).

A little background: My mom is nearly 79 years old, and she's an avid quilter, volunteers at a school once a week, and is always happy to help everyone around her. So seeing her slow down was a bit frightening.

I checked in with her again yesterday, and she asked me to feel her skin and look at her fingernails. Bad aftertaste

I bought BioTrust IC-5 and took it as directed and noticed my diabetic numbers were down after one dose. So, of course, I was excited that finally I got something that works. I continued taking it for 4 months and my numbers were looking so good and I felt good too. My A1C went down and my doctor was very pleased with my results because I had even lost weight. He even took me off my diabetic medicine. So a few weeks ago I went to order more from Amazon but couldn’t because it had been recalled. Now my numbers have gone back up and I’m back on diabetic medicine.

Ageless Multi Collagen and Ageless Collagen Booster

I am a 66-year-old woman who had Gastric Sleeve surgery in 2015. I was in the trifecta of collagen depletion issues. Arthritis, menopause, and bariatric surgery robbed me of any potential to have good skin, hair, nails, and noncracking painful joints. What actually sent me scrambling to find a good product was my loss of hair. I did some research and tried some supplements but began taking far too many different combinations. In an effort to just make it a one-stop product I found the Multi Collagen from BioTrust. I took a chance and have been more than thrilled. I am losing less hair. I have actually gotten some volume back. My joints pop and creak less. I have been so pleased with how my skin looks. I was working on looking like a 90-year-old since I had lost so much elasticity in my skin. I actually have seen that there is a plumpness and elasticity back to my arms under the external skin. I believe that it has helped to reverse so much that life has taken away. I can only say how it helped me, but I have recommended it to many of my friends. Wish I had found it sooner, but I am hopeful that I can build my skin back up and I find I ache less each day from the sore and aching joints. I don’t care about my nails so much, but they are stronger for sure. Since I am an artisan, I use them to scratch and peel a lot of items and they are stronger. So, I would say any of the things suggest they might help it has helped me. I am also taking the collagen booster just in case I needed the extra help.

Weight loss continues

Good morning BioTrust nation. Well, I had my second weigh in this morning. In my last post I stated I started my weight loss program on 1/2/15 weighing in at a whopping 282.5 lbs.

I am 6'1" and 59 years old. The first month I lost 21.2 lbs. Today was my second weigh in since starting my program. I lost another 8.9 pounds for the month of February. I believe it would have been more but I know I am putting on muscle mass from weight training. I alternate cardio and weights every day. I increased my weights five lbs for the month and can feel the muscle in my arms.

So all in all, it's been a very successful month. I am on the two shake a day program with a protein based dinner including snacks nuts and fruit. So far since January 2nd, I have lost 30.1 lbs. I'll be back in a month.

Helpful and satisfying products

I have been using a handful of BioTRUST products for over a year now. With a high protein and fat diet that is also heavy on veggies, I struggle with digestion and gas issues. AbsorbMax has been a lifesaver. This product alleviates stomach discomfort and decreases gas. I have been using Pro-X10 lately and it also seems to be helping.

Finally, the protein supplements are amazing. I use Milk Chocolate Low Carb every day because, not only it is delicious and filling, it is packed with a great blend of proteins for extended digestion. I will never buy another protein powder again! The Chocolate Chip Protein Cookies are also so tasty that I am starting to hide them from myself.

You get what you pay for!

This stuff is bad

I ordered BioTrust. They offered me a sample or a larger quantity, so I took advantage of the cost savings. I ordered a chocolate mocha. When I received my package, no sample, and the wrong flavor. I tried the protein powder after my workout. It was just gross. The flavor was "mediciney" and not a chocolate flavor. I usually purchase my protein whey from a large Vitamin store, and it cannot compare. Do not waste your money on this product.

The end result is that the protein shake can taste quite bitter if mixed ahead of time and left to sit for a prolonged period of time (e.g., > 30 minutes).

Big let down on service and support

Let me begin by saying I am NOT reviewing their products as I have not received them yet. I am right off the bat very unhappy with the fact that yet another American business has opted to outsource their customer service to a foreign country. Do you not realize that we as Americans despise talking to people we have trouble understanding? Especially when we are frustrated and are trying to resolve a problem, and now we have to deal with a new problem of a language barrier? Very disappointed in BioTrust for taking away US jobs, and for the high prices of their products. You'd think they could afford to pay our own citizens.

Secondly, I personally am not happy when I receive a shipping email saying ORDER SHIPPED and TWO DAYS later, UPS still does not have my package in their possession. How is this possible? Calling customer service I have to deal with a person from India or somewhere nearby, that I can't understand, reading off standard responses to my shipping inquiry. How many times are you going to tell me that a UPS label has been created? I know this already. I can read this for myself on the UPS tracking page. I asked why my package still hasn't left your facility AFTER TWO DAYS.

All I can say is, these products better blow my mind or else the experience will not be worth buying anymore.

Cancel but they keep filling me and sending supplements

Didn't seem to help me and I can't seem to get them to cancel or quit charging my account. I can't afford this crap and am sick of it coming out of my account. I guess it's lawyer time, I hate that.

Don’t buy BioTrust

Company is a ripoff!

Low Carb Lite decreased bag size by 30%. Went from 20 servings to 14 servings, for the same price.

So it really a 30%+ price increase.

Don't buy BioTrust.

Results with Belly Trim

I have a really good report for you on BellyTrim: So far, since June 6 I've lost 1 inch in girth at my waistline and 3 inches at the hip, where my belly bulges the most. That's just 5 weeks! I'm starting to feel much better now, more energetic, and have taken walks for the past 2 days.

My husband is taking BellyTrim too. He eats more than I do, but is very active with walking to do errands and working in our yard. His progress is not so dramatic, but he thinks some of his pants are a little looser. We will continue to take it, and we'll let you know how we're doing in a couple of months.

Great return policy

I bought 6 bottles of Bio Trim XP and it didn't work for me. I contacted company and they gave me no problems with the return of my money. They gave me three options of how to take the return. I did the one that was most convenient for me. If the products work for you I think you're dealing with a great company.

Great product

I have bought several of BioTrust products. I have been satisfied with everything I have bought. Yes, they tend to be expensive, but you get what you pay for. In fact, I am in the process of ordering more products. Until I receive a bad product, I will continue buying.

I just received ProX10. I have lost weight and inches. My only complaint would be about the chocolate chip cookies, my husband and myself don't care for them, so I won't be ordering any more of those!
