Customer service sucks

Spoke to several customer representatives that refuse to help me with questions and answers to technical issues. They were rude and unhelpful. I like the contacts themselves, but do not like how their customer service representatives speak to people so I'm unsure if I'll ever use this brand again.

It was good at first, but then...

I’ve got roughly 8 boxes per eye, I don’t wear my lenses every day so I have ample supply now. They feel good in my eyes and I see just as well with this brand as I do the Acuvue brand. I was extremely disappointed to wake up the other morning (10/5) and see my account was overdrawn by $39. I reported my card lost and received a new one in the mail and somehow these guys still ended up getting my new debit card number and information which I did NOT update in my account. There is no link to click to cancel, you have to email them. I emailed, figured they would send the money they stole back, but no, instead I’m still getting yet another 30-day supply that I don’t need and now have to pay about $50 on top of the $39 to get my checking account back into good standing. Be careful if you get a subscription, and make sure you manage your subscription so you don’t get overdrawn.

After your first trial shipment of contact lenses, Hubble does become a subscription service if you don't decide to cancel - we make this information available on our website and during the sign-up process. The upcoming charge schedule is posted in the customer's HUBBLE account, as well as information for how to edit or skip orders in the schedule. Our orders are part of a subscription program, so we are prepared to be processed immediately after the charge is cleared. We are physically unable to cancel or pull back an order once it has been charged. The monthly charge is authorized when you place the first order, and can be adjusted at the request of the customer, and can be canceled via a simple email or phone call with our customer service team during our business hours, as stated on our site.

They hurt my eyes - depending on the pair

Depending on the pair, my eyes get mucus, or the contacts bother me. My doctor says Hubble is cheap because Hubble uses outdated contacts and repackages them. I can see that, especially because each pair feels differently.

Beware before you start

First off, Hubble has cute boxes and their contacts are totally fine. The problem I have is my "free two-week trial" box was never delivered, but every month since I've paid and received my contacts without issue. I have tried to cancel my account multiple times via email, and the only way to cancel it is to call someone (during working hours) to unsubscribe. I feel like Hubble cares way more about my money than my vision.

Hard to cancel

It's hard to pass up contacts for $1 per pair, but I wouldn't sign up for these. They are definitely a daily wear quality and meant to be thrown away each night. I usually go through 4 contacts trying to change them (albeit, I do not change them nightly). I also have been trying to cancel my subscription for a while and they make it super difficult to cancel.

Poor quality contacts

Contacts become uncomfortable after about 4-6 hours. Really hard to go a full day wearing them. But I guess you get what you pay for.

Late orders

I have had Hubble for about 3 years. They have been great up until the last 6 months or so. I have received late orders several times. This is very problematic for me as this was the only method I was using for my vision, so if I don’t get the contacts, I can’t see. I recently called customer service, and they were unable to email me a copy of my prescription so I could go somewhere else. Now I am stuck with no contacts, and I was supposed to go out of town.

Unable to receive prescription when requested

Daily contacts

Hello, the past two months I’ve noticed my daily contacts defective. In some cases, I’ll open up the contact and it is dried out and has no solution in it. And I’m always short on my supply before receiving my next set.

Shipping problems

Contacts are good. The shipping is horrible! I’m still waiting for contacts that shipped 5 weeks ago. Not good when you run out of DAILY contacts.

Not as good as I hoped

I saw the reviews for these contacts and was immediately sold. I used two-week ones before switching to these dailies, which might be the issue? I find them comfortable, at first, but within a few hours, my eyes are driving me crazy! They turn into a sandpaper-like feeling on my eye at about hour four to five. Talk about UNCOMFORTABLE! Being a nurse I am on the job for 12 hours at a time, and can't have my eyes be in that much pain so quickly. Not sure why, but no, eye drops DON'T help the situation!

Overall, I was SO excited to try these, but they just don't work for me. The packaging was cute, the prescription was verified, and it shipped super quick, so that's a plus!
