Outstanding communication with Tyler and Kyle. Their exceptional level of friendly and professional customer service should be noted. Both Tyler and Kyle were extremely helpful in guiding us through our first experience with an online mortgage.

The entire process was a bit lengthy compared to traditional mortgages. However, some of this could be explained and understood by the requirements made by the VA. A portion was also attributed to our inability to "upload" documents from home.

Overall, we are quite satisfied with our experience and would not hesitate to use or recommend Rocket Morgage/Quicken in the future.

This is my second time around working with Quicken. I am satisfied overall with the service. My rep, Abe, was very good. I can't complain about anything. The process was as smooth as the previous experience years back with other property.

Rocket Mortgage was great to work with and each person I worked with individually was extremely knowledgeable in their part of the process, but nobody I worked with gave a clear picture of the entire process as a whole (i.e. preapproval to underwriting to additional documents to “debt verification” to closing). When assigned to the closing team it took them almost three business days to assign when my closing was four business days upon transfer. This almost delayed my closing and I believe it only stayed on track because of my constant calls, emails, and message posts to confirm the closing dollar figures. I had to wire money rather than get a certified check because of the delays and had to overestimate to ensure I was covered for closing funds. I personally coordinated the “closing” between the title company and Rocket Mortgage because the closing team and title company apparently kept missing each other, but both responded right away to me.

Overall, great experience, until the closing team took over.

Rocket loan was a pleasure to do business with. The use of technology, knowledgeable people, and communications made it easy.

One thing that I found was that my wife was treated as a gender minority in the transaction. Especially at the closing. This was not an overt act, but my wife owns half of everything but was not treated as an equal. This needs to change to address both parties equally.

Rocket started off a little slow and was not exactly what is advertised on the Tube. Getting preapproval was strenuous because it was not clear ahead of time what all I would need to collect and submit. It tended to be where a request would come through and then if I didn't get it scanned in immediately, I would get a call every day from the advisor during work hours. The administrator at this period did not explain a whole lot of what was required and what the meaning of a lot of things was as a first time home buyer.

Otherwise, someone was always available for any questions I had after the pre-approval process, and the rest went rather smoothly. The interface of their site is clean and easy to use and gives a great breakdown for payments. Afterward, and throughout, I received way too many requests to review Rocket Mortgage's services. This is the last one I do.

Everything went as planned. I was surprised when the cost of the loan went up right before we signed docs, but once I brought it up it to Jon, it was changed back to what we agreed on. We never heard from anyone when the loan funded and still haven't. We thought that was a bit odd, but everything worked out fine. Very efficient process you have and it was nice to not have to go back in forth with a broker.

Everyone was cordial and nice. They were available when we needed an explanation and were good about explaining why we/they were doing or asking us to do whatever it was. They kept us up to date on what our upfront costs were going to be when there were changes. We actually closed 10 days earlier than originally projected. My only complaint is how many times I had to submit the same documents. Each time we moved on to a different level in the process, dealing with a different person, they would ask for documents that we had already submitted. All in all, we scanned and emailed over 114 documents. I feel this was because they didn't share information. We were lucky enough to have a copy machine, scanner, and computer available to us but what about those that don't? Our income tax was in storage, it cost $36 to get 2 years faxed from our tax preparer to us. How much do you think it would cost to deal with 114 copies? Would I use them again? Yes. Would I recommend them to family and friends? Yes.

We experienced some difficulties with our recent refinancing process, which delayed our closing time for 2 weeks. It was stressful but it finally went through. The staff is always courteous and helpful whenever I called. So we are satisfied overall with the services provided by Rocket Mortgage despite some minor setbacks.

I was blown away by how seamless the whole process was going and moving along until the last week. I was told 1 Week prior to my close date that I had to come up with $7000 more. When I got the money in 2 days then was told that the close date was moved back 1 day. Then it was moved back 2 days then it finally closed 4 days later. Super frustrating because in was told everything was fine all the way up to 1 week prior when I already had vendors scheduled. I would recommend to a friend but with a warning.

The process was fast and without major hurdles. There was a certain amount of duplicate and redundant communication that appeared to be automated which made the experience highly impersonal. Bottom line, it's done and done right!

It was a pretty easy process. The pandemic caused delays of course but really once we submitted all the requirements we just sat back until they called to schedule the closing. They kept us informed on where we were in the process.
