Don't join unless you have loads of time to read all the presentations and more money to buy at the end.

I wish I had read your reviews last year when I joined. I tried to cancel within a couple of weeks of joining as I couldn't stand the constant bombardment of emails asking you to watch right to the end only to find another opportunity to get more money out of you.

When I emailed for a refund, I was told by Justin Anderson, the director of customer affairs, that I would have to call accounts via phone and this couldn't be done by email. As I live in UK and don't have a landline, this was impossible for me to do.

As it is, I have not accessed or used Trim Down Club and would advise anyone considering joining not to part with their money. They only want more and the 100% money back guarantee means nothing.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Not satisfied

I want a refund of my money because I cannot understand how this all works. The entering of my weight, etc., is hard to understand how to enter it all. I get an email from Trim Down Club and it takes me to some other person that is trying to sell their ideas. I really want to be taken off this list and a refund of my $47.00 as I have not had a good experience with this at all.

Money Scam

When you sign up for the Trim Down Club, you think it is a way for you to get great information on how to slim down sensibly, but all it has turned out to be is advertisements for you to buy more of their products, etc. Total scam in my opinion.

I think I may have wasted my money

Although I think this may well work, there are a lot of questions around the plan. The problem is getting an answer, they have a community sector but no one answers your questions and if you go to the support section they tell you to go to the community sector. So you pay your money, get the basics and then are left with loads of questions around the diet, weights, etc. that no one responds to

Unlimited infomercials

After you join the Trim Down Club, be prepared for a minimum of one video is sent each week with enticing headlines that suggest you can find secret answers to a host of problems from cellulite to dementia, heart problems and all disease. To find the solution you watch a 10 minute infomercial. At the end you will be asked to purchase a product, exercise book or supplement that typically runs at least $47. In actuality the Trim Down Club reveals nothing new. It is info available in magazines and online. Don't Waste your Time and Money!

Trim Down Club Does Not Honor Its Guarantees

I found the formats of the Trim Down Club's information very confusing to access and follow. As well, there was little new information included. Nor was the advice tailored to the individual: as a 73-year-old woman, I was sent information on losing "belly fat" as I went through menopause. I enrolled on July 5, 2015; and sent my first request for a full refund on July 16, 2015. There was no response to that request or to the one made on September 23, 2015. As of today, Nov. 15, I am still trying to get Trim Down Club to honor its refund guarantee.

Think I've been had.

Sat thru the presentation, decided to buy the basic package online. Screen then offered me a further package which I did not want, but screen would not allow me "no thanks". So I was billed for the second item. Contacted customer services to ask for an adjustment. I was away from home for 2 days, on my return, they had replied telling me a "ticket" had been opened for me and the next day followed up with "ticket closed, no money refunded". My goods have not yet arrived, but reading others' experiences, looks like the money back guarantee is a fairy story too. First time I've fallen for this - should've read reviews first.

I'm all at sea

I recently joined Trim Down Club but don't really understand it. It is not clear when they give you a menu if you choose just one item or all of them. I am quite confused. Also, if I do want to ask for a refund where do I go? There seems to be no way of contacting them. This should be made easier to do.

I joined a while ago and didn't find the site very useful. The emails received were for products asking for more money. I tried to cancel and asked for a refund (as promised). However, all I received was an email asking me to call an international number, again scamming more money. So, you can't get a refund back to the card you paid on, and the service is awful.

And, after fully reading it over, I wanted to help address your concerns as quickly as possible. It seems like the review is about our product and service from a time that dates as far back as 2014. I want you to know that a lot has changed since then, and much for the better. Over the last year alone, we’ve made some really great changes to our products and services that makes me very proud to be a part of the Trim Down Club!

The first change we’ve made was an upgrade to our Menu Planner Application. These changes were based on feedback from our incredible (1 million strong) members. With their help, we built a menu planner that takes your specific dietary needs, BMI, age, as well as the foods you like into consideration to provide our members with a weekly menu in less than 10 minutes. In the past, this took close to 30 minutes, so this upgrade has helped our members save time as well as lose weight, and that is simply amazing!

Another great addition, has been the expansion of our team of registered dietitians. This expert group personally guide our members to success. And, they are always available to answer questions.

Lastly, we’ve made our website more mobile friendly. All of these changes were not easy, and we definitely could not have done it without the help of our incredible members. And, for this we can’t thank them enough.

Regarding being offered additional products in our weekly newsletter, I can definitely clarify. To start, I personally know members that have had great success thanks to these additional products. With that said, we encourage every member to review their own goals and to decide if they are right for them. And, our chief nutritionist, Ossie Sharon, has personally reviewed and approved them all, so we feel very comfortable providing these products to our many members. At the end of the day, the decision is up to you if you would like to go ahead with these products or pass on them.

Furthermore, I can see that you had a hard time getting your money back. This is very upsetting, and I really would like to have a better understanding of what went wrong… I say this because we have a no questions asked 60-day money back guarantee. So, if one of our members is not satisfied for any reason, you get your money back.

Although your review seems to be based on an outdated product and service of ours from over 2 years ago, I still take the claims very seriously. That said, I would love for the opportunity to have a better understanding of what went wrong. I signed up for the monthly subscription stupidly without reading these reviews. I clicked on one of the videos on the website and received notification that it cost me £39 ($47.73). I was so outraged that I didn't even watch it. Do NOT use this site!
