Waste of money

This write up is false. There is no custom plan. Not even a daily calorie suggestion. You have to purchase the app to find out that there is nothing to it. It's just a timer with a notification. You can set your clock on your phone to do the same thing for free. A few very basic recipes, and some low info articles you can find on-line as well. No refunds. It's "company policy." Just buy the book "The Obesity Code" and save your money.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Scam

It's a full online scam. You pay 33 us 99 dollars I don't know yet what for.

They have refused to return me the money.

The contents and the clock that advises when to fast is just very little worth it.

Don’t get this app

The app itself is extremely empty. Exactly as the article stated, it is not personalized except that they ask for height and weight! You can choose which type of fasting you want to do and you have some workouts proposed. THAT'S IT. You can find these on YouTube and Google. It is not worth the money and I realized it 1 hour after making the purchase so I asked for a refund and got shut down by a very rude customer service telling me there’s no refund policy unless the product is faulty. The product IS faulty since it's not even worth half of what I paid.

After being shut down, I genuinely tried using the app and I realized it's really useless! No one in their right mind would pay for this. I canceled my next subscription but I can assure no company has made me this annoyed at the lack of empathy AND usefulness.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I like DoFasting

I really like how easy it is to fast using this app! It really helped me to stay on track and I love how it counts down the hours/minutes/seconds I have until I can eat again.

It helped me to maintain my weight and attain mental clarity! What I like the most is that the meals provided are pretty great, they're actually made my professionals (you won't find them anywhere else, no matter your Google skills).

What I didn't like is that the workouts were hard in the beginning.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Canceled subscription but charged anyway!

I canceled my subscription one week after purchasing the app. It was not worth it to me. DoFasting requests an email to cancel. I followed their instructions and so I was surprised when charged three months later. I forwarded the email I'd sent three months ago but they refuse the refund me even though I'd canceled my subscription according to their rules. This is a scam!

No refund policy

Buyer beware! I paid $90 Canadian for this app. Once I downloaded and opened it, I realized it was based on a high-fat Keto diet. I am vegan and don't eat animal products of any kind so I immediately asked the company, DoFasting Vilnius, to cancel my subscription. They did so immediately but would not refund my money because they have a no-refund policy, which is listed in their Terms & Conditions. My credit card company checked into them and found they are an overseas company with no known business practices. I am very disappointed and am now stuck with paying for something I can't use.

Do not buy

This app is very disappointing to me. I bought the app for a year and then it automatically renews. I will not get a refund for what I have already foolishly purchased and I do not see any instructions on how I may notify them that I do not want a renewal.

Worthless

The information is nothing new and a "personalized" plan is nothing but a grouping of possible foods for you to choose from, save your money and spend a couple of hours doing some research, it will be more beneficial!

Dishonest business practices

Expect little transparency or accountability from this company and little value from its app. Respectfully, most positive reviews for this app only reflect the success of intermittent fasting, and not the purported value of this expensive, hard-to-get-rid-of subscription service.

I purchased a 3-month subscription online in January, and promptly forgot about it - as many, if not most - find themselves doing. DoFasting offers ONLY automatically-renewing plans (the first red flag). At the end of March, a couple of days before my account would be charged for the second time, I came across an online ad for DoFasting that showed it was a paid app, and vaguely remembered I might have paid for it at one time. It was my intention on that day to cancel my account if it was, indeed, a paid subscription.

I proceeded to search through the website and then the app, and nowhere did I see any indication of my account being a paid account. There was no notice on the app, or the website, that my bank account was linked, or that it would be charged in a matter of days - and most importantly, there was no option to cancel any subscription (if I even had one). I, as anyone would, took this to mean that I had no such subscription.

Much to my surprise, I opened my banking app days later to see a charge from DoFasting. I then spent the next 40 minutes searching for any possible way to see the details of my paid account and to cancel my subscription - to no avail.

It shocked me that a service would make it so easy to sign up online with one’s banking information, but impossible to cancel. It is borderline criminal to conduct one’s business in such a misleading way. I imagine that many customers similarly frustrated have simply given up after not finding a way to cancel their accounts - no one should even have to do the extensive searching that I did. I, however, was deeply disappointed and finally emailed the only support resource I could find requesting that my account be canceled.

Many back-and-forths with an automated email response system later, it still is unclear whether my subscription is canceled, or if I will lose another $40 come July. Save yourself the hassle and the money, and find a cheaper intermittent fasting service that isn’t a scheme to lock you into a contract.

You pay for personalized and get generic

I was excited to "get my plan" when I signed up for this service, instead, I got a tracking app that is not even an improvement on the many many free apps on the market. You can track your fasts, check out some generic recipes, and get a generic work out plan. Nothing is personalized based on all the questions you answered before signing up. This is deceiving business practice. I immediately asked for a refund and canceled my membership, but I was refused a refund unless I could prove I didn't get what was advertised. I sent them back screenshots of their offer for a personalized plan and I was told the web plan and app plan are different...both offer a personalized plan and there isn't even a way to log in online. From their website: "We guarantee you will be satisfied," LIE, they don't care and will ignore you hoping you go away.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
