Very poor

A couple of days ago I tried calling to cancel my subscription but no one picked up, nor did I get a call back. Therefore I submitted an email asking to cancel my account and a refund. They told me they can’t do a refund because the contacts have already been shipped. It is not my fault that you guys don’t know how to pick up the phone. Your contacts don’t work for me plus they irritate my eyes and I would like to request a refund. This is very bad customer service and attentiveness.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Best deal ever, and the price rocks

These contacts are wonderful, super soft, and I know it is said by all, but I REALLY can't feel them. I inserted them, and I could see perfectly. I did not experience any adjustment time, just clear vision. I appreciate the fact that since I still like to wear my glasses, I can change my delivery times and not have to spend money every month. So far, I can't imagine going back to expensive Dr.'s office contacts or even 1-800 Contacts. I am xcited about my new relationship with Hubble and say it is worth the $3 to try them out!

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Thanks for making my world less fuzzy

I'm new to wearing contacts. A few months ago I finally received the eye exam I've been putting off for roughly a decade, the reaction from the optometry staff being something like "how did you get a driver's license with these eyes?" Because I work in the woods, glasses are not an option, but the regular, monthly expense of contacts was daunting.

Hubble was the first and only contact provider I ever considered due to their affordability and the recommendation from multiple friends. Because of this, I must be honest I have nothing to compare them to. However, I am super pleased with the comfort of the contacts, the price, and the ease of Hubble's website format.

I move around throughout the year and can quickly change where my contacts are shipped each month. Plus they come in those cute, colorful little boxes.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Not worth it!

My free trial of 15 pairs consisted of five pairs that were VERY uncomfortable to wear. I check each lens before I put them in to make sure they are not flipped inside out, so that was not the problem. Because of this, I decided to cancel my subscription, but due to their policy of calling to cancel, I kept putting it off and skipped a few deliveries instead to give me more time to call and cancel.

Well, today I received my first month of full price contacts (even though I skipped all of August deliveries) so I immediately called and asked for a refund, and to cancel my subscription. They charge you for return shipping AND a restocking fee.

In my opinion, it's not worth it.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Won't stop service

Nice contacts. However, I cannot use them as I cannot read with them and cannot get the Hubble company to stop the service or refund the three boxes they have sent. Apparently, once you start they won't stop. I'll be forced to put a stop payment on my checking account.

I notified the company from day one when I found I cannot use them. Now you cannot call the company.

I am very disappointed.

Absolutely terrible, very uncomfortable

I've been wearing contact lenses for 15 years, and this is by far the absolute worst brand I've ever tried. My first pair dried up almost immediately, but not before I was already at work and now I am stuck with them in all day. I've read reviews about how terrible their customer service is, and now I'm scared to have to go through the same headache.

To all the reviewers that say this company is "fantastic and amazing," what the heck are you talking about? These contact are scratchy, dry, and have irritated my eyes from about 30 minutes after insertion and have only gotten worse.

PLEASE do not waste your time; this company is a total gimmick with "cute" graphics to hype them up.

Side note: shipping took over a week, even though their confirmation email said to keep an "eye on your mailbox in the next couple of days." Nothing I hate more than slow shipping and false hope of delivery.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Beware

I tried out the initial box of contacts and quickly realized the quality was not great if you have dry eyes. I didn't cancel in time and received the next shipment, which I paid for since it was my mistake, and then I promptly canceled the subscription. That was September of last year. A few days ago I received a box of contacts from Hubble. I was confused, because not only did I cancel my subscription in 2016, my contact prescription is expired. So I called, just before 5 pm eastern time (I'm west coast), and of course, it was just an automated response to call during business hours. I then sent an email detailing what happened.

The following day I received a snide email from a customer service rep stating they could send contacts up to a year from the subscription start date with the same prescription you signed up with, even if the prescription is expired. She sent a screenshot of their term of service about that and said I didn't cancel my subscription, only skipped orders.

Really? You are telling me I skipped orders for almost a year, and then you magically send one last order, on the one year date of my subscription? She also said that although the boxes themselves are unopened, I cannot return because I opened the outer shipping box. After not receiving contacts for a year because I CANCELLED MY SUBSCRIPTION, I wasn't really sure what was in the box, which is why I opened it.

All in all, Hubble seems to practice rather shady business. Cancelling your subscription can't be done online, you have to actually call, and because it's a phone call, you have no written proof of cancellation, which in turn allows them to continue to send out orders even after canceling. Terrible.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Not satisfied, to say the least

This company wants to blame me for doing what they asked of me.

I did the trial back in August. I didn't see a price or quality difference in my normal brand! To my surprise, they sent me another box. I was under the impression that I was only giving my payment info to pay for the $3 shipping! WRONG. I got sidetracked and forgot to send the box back. Low and behold, a few weeks later I got another box and another charge!

I emailed them since their phone number is nowhere to be found. They sent me an email, and I spoke with Christine about canceling and about the returns. It was explained that unfortunately, the refunds take time because they are done when there is an accumulation of refunds (odd), so I waited.

While I am waiting for a $66 refund, I get yet another charge for $33. I called today and spoke with Jennifer. She told me that it wasn't their issue but that they have not yet received either package and that I needed to contact USPS. I called. Forty-five minutes on hold. I finally ended up going to the local post office and was advised that there would not be a scan on that tracking number on the return trip because if it had been scanned, the system would send it back to me. Makes sense!

I call Hubble back. I forget who I spoke to this time. He said we could escalate my phone call. I wanted management. He promised an hour window. I called back. Darian advised that someone would call. I waited.

Ellen called me back and blamed me for every flaw in her policy! I told her I did as instructed by putting RTS on the packages and she claims there would have been a notification and a refund if the packages came back. I told her that wasn't my fault. I did as I was instructed and I had a scan from the USPS that told me so! Return initiated! Finally, she is caving, (or so I think) and says she got a refund validated. She would give me $50. But there was a restocking fee and a shipping fee. I'm not paying for anything! I need a $99 refund.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Worst customer service and product damaged my eyes

What they don’t tell you is that they don’t take into account your entire prescription, so the fit and any compensation for astigmatism are ignored without you knowing it.

After my vision started to become more and more blurry, I went to my eye doctor who told me to stop the use of Hubble Contacts immediately. Not only do they not breathe like modern contacts, but they fail to inform you of the failings of their outdated product.

As if that wasn’t bad enough, when I went to cancel I was told I had to call a 1-800 number between 9 am and 5 pm, Monday through Friday. I had been told when I signed up that I could cancel online easily, however, they changed that policy during my subscription without notice.

I called and canceled (or so I thought), then was billed the very next day. When I called back, they said they hadn’t canceled, it but would now, but my shipment was already processed, and I would have to wait for it to arrive, then pay to ship it back and wait for a refund. I literally saw the charge and called (granted it took me two phone calls because the fort rep’s phone connection was so bad) within 20 minutes, yet miraculously, my order that I canceled the day before had been shipped and already left with USPS.

When I asked for a manager, I was told all managers were in a very important meeting and could they have my phone number to contact me later? You mean the phone number in the profile of information you already have?

Save yourself the eye pain and the headache of these idiots and get real contacts.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Do not sign up!

I signed up for the Hubble Contact lense "free" trial. The lenses did not fit properly, and before I could cancel the subscription an automatic deduction of $33 was taken from my account and a second box arrived.

I phoned Hubble, and with painstaking time wasted on the phone, I was told to write on the unopened box RETURN TO SENDER. That was on September 18th, 2017.

Today is November 28th, 2017 and the $33 refund has NOT posted to my account.

I phoned Hubble Contacts today, 11/28/2017, and they are unable to find their package, and they are unable to use their own tracking number to locate it.

I expect a refund since I did return the package as instructed by the associate and the box was unopened. I actually hand delivered it to the USPS driver.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Bad customer service

Extremely poor service with this company. I received my free two weeks supply of contacts. Then my first shipment of paid for contacts came and they were bad, like I didn't have contacts in. So I called customer service and after several conversations talking to several different people, I was told I would receive an expedited shipment as a replacement.

I didn't receive them until a week later (I don't consider that expedited). When I tried them and they were the same as the last; I couldn't see with them. This has happened two more times with the same result. I've spent many hours on the phone trying to get this worked out. I've got three different shipments of contacts that I can't use, a 6-month supply!

I've been told that a supervisor would call me back but that never happens. I was also told that Jeffrey, the quality control person, would call me and that hasn't happened! Worst customer service I've EVER had!

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
