Outstanding!

I never write reviews. I haven’t got the time. However, I am so impressed with Noom and what it is helping me do that I thought it was worth the time. It is cognitive behaviorally based fun. It is engaging and motivating. I may be a nerd, but I believe!

I am so glad I came across Noom while scrolling on Pinterest. I was hesitant at first and probably took the quiz at least 3 times before actually signing up. It was the best decision I have made in a long time. I am losing weight and feeling great! I look forward to reading the tasks daily...it keeps me on track. I would recommend this program to all my family and friends.

How Noom had helped me...

I have tried every way to lose weight in my life, to include my teen years. I have always been overweight. Noom is different because it helps with the psych part of weight loss. Noom incorporates the physical, emotional and mental part of becoming healthier. Whether I reach my goal weight or not, I have been given the tools to become as healthy as possible. I will be honest, I still struggle, and have only lost about 7lbs, but I am more aware of my triggers to overeat. Thank you Noom. I will continue my journey with you.

Six weeks with Noom

I started Noom six weeks ago. I have been impressed with the daily readings and find them informative and funny. They are able to give scientific information in an interesting format that keeps my interest. The "coaches" are both individual and group and provide good feedback and support. Reading issues from the group members keeps everybody aware of how other people have the needs as they struggle to be healthier. I am losing body weight, toning and most importantly, learning life long lessons to stay healthy. I highly recommend this program.

Game changer

I really, really like this app. I have never been obese but, I need(ed) to lose 15 lbs., of which 5 lbs I gained over the past holidays. I am a life long female athlete and a foodie, my partner is a trained chef. Getting older, I am 58, and having more financial resources, I was starting to eat and drink (mostly wine) too much and the weight started to add up. I'd work out more, thinking it would just fall off...like when I was in my 20's and 30's. Nope, it didn't happen. I tried logging my food on my own but, that just didn't work either. So I decided to give Noom a shot.

One of the things I like about Noom is the "nerdy" attitude. It is funny. But, it is also smart. I like being educated about the psychology of why, when and what I eat. I like that it is not all or nothing. I like that the example of the weight loss chart goes up and down...though down overall. I like that it takes 10 minutes a day. It also has a social aspect to it, not really my thing but, I can see how that would benefit many people.

I have been on the app about a month. I am down 7 lbs...I am making smarter choices and I am learning a lot about habits and choices. I get practical tips for various scenarios, and I get information on why I do what I do...so I can make smarter choices. I like that it is not all or nothing. Sometimes, I just want that second glass of wine or piece of chocolate, it's okay, it's a slip and that happens. I go back on the calorie count the next day. I am in for the long haul and things happen, life happens.

So far so good. I feel positive about the results to date and the future looks promising.

Noom has made all the difference

I have never been one to eat healthy. I chose my meals and snacks based on what tasted good and what would fill me up, not on what was healthy and would properly fuel my body. I never had to worry about it much because I was never overweight. Then, I got cancer. The chemo caused me to develop a hypothyroid disease. As an indirect result of cancer, I also had to have a full hysterectomy in my late 30s. These mounting health issues caused two significant problems - significantly reduced my energy level and caused me to easily gain weight. Because I knew next to nothing about making healthy food choices, the weight started building. I knew that if I was going to change, I needed more help than the simple apps could provide - and I didn't have money for programs like Weight Watchers. Noom was pretty much my last hope - and it has been wonderful. I am learning the physical and psychological aspects of my eating habits, and realistic tips to help me create lasting lifestyle changes. It is a slow process, but knowing that I am learning and can see the results of the learning makes all the difference.

Awesome program

My experience with Noom has been life-changing. Although I’m still on the program, I’m still working on ME and that’s what it’s all about. They are not about taking food away they are all about helping you with portion control. I love the fact that I can eat whatever I would like as long as it is within my calorie budget. I can go out and have a drink or have that piece of cake for dessert. Now I’m not going to lie, sometimes you will fall off the bandwagon, and that’s ok. It’s all about getting back up and tomorrow is a new day. Noom has changed how I see food, and I find myself eating more calorie dense foods. I have more energy and I’m sleeping better. Also, I don’t have that afternoon crash anymore! Great program!

Doesn't feel like dieting

I love the fact it's real food. No special shakes or food to purchase. Works perfect for family meals, the choices are yours to make. I don't feel deprived on this program. I'm learning how the mind plays an important role in weight loss. The group support is helpful.

Totally different program

This is totally different than any other nutrition programs for weight loss I've done before. Noom is about psychology and science. They use repetition and small steps over a period of time to help you reach your goals. They have helped me think about food totally differently than I have in the past. They give a lot of scientific facts, practical tips and tasks. All of the information can feel overwhelming at first, but if you hang in there, they know this and always come back to previous information. I am starting my second month of a six-month program and have learned a lot and have definitely changed my thinking about food. I am down 7 pounds, which may not be a lot, but my energy is also a lot better, and I don't feel deprived at all. This is the best I have ever felt about reaching my goals.

Good program

I’ve just completed a month on the program and have lost 10 lbs and am down from a size 12 to a size 10. It has been an easy program to follow. I’ve not had any difficulty following the plan. It gets easier and more comfortable each day.
