The best subscription service!

Scentbird has been such a great subscription service! Being someone that likes to "blind purchase" fragrance, this is so perfect. Such a great way to date before you buy. The selection is awesome, and their customer service is great. I'm always in the mood for something new; it's like Scentbird was created for me!

Great invention

Being an admitted fragrance junkie, my discovery of Scentbird was life changing! The selection is phenomenal, as are the fragrance suggestions! The ease of dropping what I want into my queue and having it show up in my mailbox every month is game changing! No more going to the big box stores, who all have the same fragrances, and being bombarded, or even worse ignored, to having my nose so full of scents I can't tell one from the next! I love Scentbird. Thank you for just being you!

Love this service!

As a lover of beautiful fragrances, it can get expensive to collect scents only to find out that it might not be a scent you love. Scentbird has allowed me to "test drive" fragrances each month to really get a sense of how the scent works in any situation.

The sample size is very generous and lasts 30 days. The included atomizer is sturdy and has lasted for months in my purse! I really, REALLY love Scentbird and tell everyone about it.

Pretty good!

So far the fragrances I have received have been great! One time I received a broken sample, but these guys were great and replaced it! Another time I didn’t receive my monthly subscription at all, but I think that was due to the fact that their software didn’t update my change of address. The shopping timing could be fine-tuned as it usually takes nearly two weeks for me to get my cologne, but other than that, good job!

Love Scentbird!

I so enjoy getting a new fragrance each month to try. It is so hard to find a perfume that you really like, mostly because it's so expensive. I usually end up thinking I like something, buy it and then realize, nope I do NOT like it. LOL! I can wear what I get from Scentbird for a month or more and decide if I really like it, if my partner likes it, does it stick with me for more than 20 minutes, etc.

My experience with Scentbird

Since I've been with Scentbird, I have had the opportunity to try so many different scents for a month before I decide to purchase them.

When I received my first scent, it came in a black reusable case. The subscription is very reasonable for the amount of perfume that one receives. The case easily fits in your purse so that you may spray at any time. My perfumes that I receive from Scentbird lasts so much longer than a month, and I spray at least two to three times a day. Scentbird has saved me a lot of money because high-end perfumes are very expensive and I love to switch up, therefore, this is very convenient for me and affordable.

I also love the fact that if you are having financial problems for a month, you can always postpone for as many months as you need and start back whenever you want. Scentbird is also very good at responding to emails. I remember I had an issue when one of my subscriptions were lost in the mail. Scentbird immediately sent me another perfume without any issue or hesitation.

I am a loyal customer of Scentbird, and I hope they stay around for a while.

I LOVE Scentbird!

I've been subscribing to Scentbird for a while now, and I am so glad that I chose to subscribe. I no longer have to buy a full bottle of pricey perfume only to find out that I don't like the scent or that it's similar to one I already own. I love the trial sizes, and I also love the fact that if I choose to purchase a full bottle, I am given a one-time purchase discount. I LOVE Scentbird!

I have been with Scentbird for over a year now, and I have never been happier with a monthly subscription! I am forever browsing when I’m in the store and spraying new fragrances until I am nose deaf to any and everything! Scentbird gives me the freedom to try new fragrances without an $80.00 commitment, and the cases are so fabulous! I love them and crave them in every color! I so look forward to my Scentbird monthly and would part with any other monthly thing before giving up this! Love it guys! Keep 'em coming.

Almost perfect

Perfumes were always amazing. The only problem I ever had was with cases; they always seem to fall apart. Other than that, I would have left five stars. Great subscription to have. So many selections. And I love having the option to switch anytime I wanted.

Smells good

Just no. No.

I had a discount code and thought about signing up for some samples. I though I changed my mind and never ended up submitting my order. I found that they saved my credit card information and charged me twice. First under the name of their sister company, Deck of Scarlet, who took nearly three weeks to respond to my inquiries despite several phone calls and emails.

After someone from Deck of Scarlet indicated that the charge was from Scentbird, I contacted them directly. While waiting for them to clear up the charge, they charged me again under their own name. Unbelievable.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Aggravated!

I was browsing around on Instagram, and I came across a discount code to use on Scentbird. I figured why not go on and see what they have to offer? Immediately they ask for a credit card number. I just wanted to see what type of selection they had, and I order to do that you have to supply a credit card.

After my account was created I tried canceling myself on the website, after spending an hour on their site looking it over and over I realized you cannot cancel the subscription yourself, you need to request a cancellation by email. I sent my email the same day I created my account. I heard back from them within a few days. I was told my subscription was canceled and my card would be refunded.

Today I received my package from Scentbird. I logged on to their site, and it does say my subscription was canceled. I emailed them again asking why I received a package when my order was canceled and was being told my card would be refunded. I hate their website; it is NOT user-friendly at all, and I'm very computer literate. I think they should make some changes as far as needing to provide a credit card immediately, and also not being able to cancel your own membership on their site. It just screams bad company!

From scared to pleased

I did the ultimate no-no and signed up for Scentbird WITHOUT reading reviews first. After signing up and my checking account being immediately withdrawn the monthly fee, I decided to read the reviews. And they were for the most part AWFUL. I was so upset that I signed up. I decided to give Scentbird the benefit of the doubt and see how the first month would play out. I'm so GLAD I did.

I got an email with a tracking number; it gave me an expected delivery date. My perfume was delivered (to my place of employment) on the delivery date specified, it came exactly as described and perfume is one I LOVE. I'm so glad I decided to give Scentbird a chance despite the reviews, and because I had my order delivered to my work, my coworkers have also decided to sign up. Yay for free perfume! Thanks Scentbird!

Not worth the headaches

I have only been subscribed since June 2017, yet I have had to email them monthly about multiple issues. For the month of August, I got charged at the beginning of the month, and as of September 1st, I still have not gotten August's scent. Every time I look at my list of perfumes I have picked out, something is always wrong with it. Either the wrong perfume shows up or a month says I skipped it or it says they shipped the wrong scent. You would think they would have someone skilled enough to work on their website two years in.

I'm just going to cancel my subscription. The monthly headaches are not worth it. Especially if you get back to back perfumes. I'd rather have my month to enjoy it like they advertise it.

High hopes squashed

I came into the experience with high hopes. Who wouldn't want designer fragrances that cost hundreds of dollars for mere pennies practically?

I signed up in October and got my first scent, Mon Guerlain the first week in November. Ok, very slow on shipping. They bill my bank account on the 10th and then don't ship out until almost a month later? November's scent was Burberry Brit. Same thing. They billed on the 20th of November this time, and it just now, on December 6th, that it arrived.

I got a message from them saying my card was declined. For what? They already billed me and sent the fragrance. I replied back and told them what was going on. There reply back was to ask for my address to see what the issue was. The issue isn't with my address. It's with their delivery and payment set up.

I was willing to give them a chance. I mean mistakes happen, but after reading the reviews of people having similar issues, I canceled.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

It looks like you first subscribed with Scentbird on October 19th, and your first shipment was delivered to the reception desk on October 28th. Our shipping time frame is within 5-10 business days so this is well within our normal range. Your second shipment in November was sent during our second shipping window, which is at the end of the month late in the month because payment was received late (November 9th).

It looks like when we had tried to collect payment on November 5th but your card was declined. Your November shipment was shipped November 29th and delivered December 6th, which is within the regular time frame. It seems there may have been some confusion in our billing schedules. If you decide to give us another try, we'd be happy to help clarify our billing and shipping schedule for you. Please give us an email at support@scentbird.com. We'd be happy to make our service something for you to be excited about!

Not happy

I started Scentbird in September and got my first bottle in October. I paid again in October and November and December. They sent me one more bottle in December, and refuse to send me my November bottle. I have tried to resolve this and there is no phone number for them because then they would actually have to take care of a customer. Buyer beware, and I would just go with ScentBox. Cheaper, more selection, and they have a phone number to call if there is a problem.

At a small cost of $14.99 a month, I get to test a cologne of my choice. I'm just as excited now as I was the first month I subscribed in 2016 to get my new fragrance. You pick your choice of cologne each month, and it's delivered to your door. You can even purchase additional fragrances if you run out.

Love Scentbird

It's a cheap and easy way to try out new perfumes when you don't want to commit to a big one. After you get the scent that you want you can commit to it. I love this idea of trying out new perfumes every month.

Wonderful subscription service

The one and only issue I have is I think the perfume review format could be better. Maybe more options for the feeling the scent gives you and being able to check multiple options for one category. But the customer service is great, the idea is genius, and I don't know if I'll ever stop using it. I've tried many scents over the past couple of years, and I have only not enjoyed maybe 3 of them. The reviews and the note descriptions are super helpful in choosing a scent.

I love Scentbird

I love getting the chance to try expensive perfumes without having to buy the whole bottle all the time. Some perfumes that I would assume smelled great are my least favorite, and I haven't had to waste any money! On the other hand, I have found new fragrances that I adore! Thank you so much!
