Please be aware, even when dress is damaged, YOU have to pay return shipping

Guys,

I purchased a dress which looked nice on the website photo. The dress obviously looks far from what the image says it would look like. Furthermore, the dress arrived turn, upon asking for a return label, StyleWe refused to send a return label and asked us to ship it back, pay shipping and duties. This is absurd!

I am dealing with PayPal and my credit card bank to get this resolved.

Let me say it again, DO NOT buy on StyleWe!

I am still waiting for my refund two months after return. It took over one month to receive items, nothing fit, poor quality; returned precisely as instructed and still awaiting a refund. Do NOT buy from StyleWe!

Horrible experience - do not order

I ordered four dresses. One took four weeks to arrive and was junk. Two were never received, and StyleWe could not provide tracking info. One dress is still "processing," and I'm trying to cancel it. I can't reach anyone at the company. I wish I had checked their reviews with BBB before ordering.

No refund

The dress arrived and was too big. I sent it back weeks ago and asked for a refund, but nothing has come back. I sent it back to the Manchester address that was on the parcel. When I tried to email StyleWe, I kept failing.

Don't touch this company with a barge-pole

I ordered a dress from StyleWe on May 28th. I have repeatedly sent emails enquiring as to when it will arrive and the response is always the same "can u wait a few more days" (they actually write the letter "u" instead of "you"). They then sent an email stating that "as my shoes were on hot sale they did not have enough stock, can u wait a few more days." At this point, I realized this company is a scam, I haven't ordered shoes, it's a dress!

The money has been taken from my account and I doubt I will ever see the dress. I checked the reviews beforehand on Trust Pilot, and all seemed well, however, I am now thinking the reviews were probably fake. Their emails are always the same, they are probably automated, and I doubt employees Max, Gabby, and Zoe even exist. As I need the dress for an event this weekend, I have had to order an outfit elsewhere. I ordered this on Saturday, and it arrived this morning. Now that's what I call customer service.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Awful

I placed an order and purchased rush delivery from my phone expecting to get it 3-5 business days from order date. So, 4 days after placing my order I receive an email stating, "your order is being processed and will take 3-5 days." Then shipping will take another 3-5 days. I went to cancel my order because I needed the dresses before they would even be processed, they said they are charging me a 15% cancellation fee. TOTAL BS. How could you charge me $32 in chipping for RUSH then not process the purchase 4 days later, then tell me it will take 3-5 more days to process?

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Terrible returns

I bought 8 dresses for my wife for Christmas. She liked 5 of them and decided to return 3 of them. That’s when the nightmare began. They offered to give me a credit for not returning the dresses. I didn’t want a credit, just wanted to get my money back. The dresses cost $80+ to ship to China. I followed up with StyleWe with tracking number and picture of the package (as requested). After checking multiple times on the status of the package and being told that packages sent to China take a long time to arrive, the package finally arrived back at my door! Their very terrible customer service offered me 30% back on the returned items and told me to keep the dresses (which we do not want). They also said they couldn’t reimburse me for the shipping costs. It’s not enough money to expend any more energy on this, but I don’t recommend buying from this company. The dresses we kept were nice, but not worth the hassle.

Orders paid with no deliveries

I placed some orders of sandals from StyleWe and also a dress since May 27, 2018, totaling $188.10. I am still waiting! When I emailed them, they told me that they were sorry and they will send it express mail! I waited a while, no deliveries! I emailed them again and this time they said that they were sorry and they will refund me 5% from purchase, and they will send them express mail. I do not believe them! It looks like it is a SCAM!

I ordered multiple sizes of the same dress as I had heard that sizing can be an issue. I returned three dresses via USPS as instructed and was told "They were never received in China." Just as I feared would be the case ordering from them. They offered me a small in-store discount on future purchases.

StyleWe trouble

I've made the mistake of ordering several things from StyleWe. I won't make that mistake again. They have great models and photographers but the clothes are shoddy and the fabrics are never as advertised. I ordered one expensive item that claimed to be 100% linen. It was some synthetic. I did not get refunded for the return because they claimed there was a "stain." I had immediately re-packaged and returned it as soon as I saw the fabric was not as advertised. It seemed really close to fraud to me that they manufactured an excuse not to accept the return.

Horrible dress, no money back

The dress I ordered came weeks later. It was way too small, the “linen” looked as it was cut from a potato sack, the embroidery was made with thick yarn, and someone had spilled some liquid on the front, shown that it was a used garment. I immediately returned it, following the complicated return advice. Now, weeks later I am still waiting for my money back.

Received StyleWe dress

Very cheap construction and 100% cotton instead of the linen that was the advertised fabric. It took over a month to get the dress, and when I tried to send it back, I received an email implying that costs to do so might outweigh the value, maybe, so perhaps I would like a small refund. 15%, about $7.50. I found no information on their website that explains that they are a company based in China and shipping would be from there. I would never order from China, knowingly.

I order clothing only occasionally online and have been pleased, but this is a lesson learned. Cute pictures do not equal cute and quality garments. I ordered only one dress just to check out the quality before ordering more. Good thing!

Scam of another kind

I ordered four dresses. After two months I inquired when I might receive them. This is when I first realized the company was located in China (not that it would have matter, I just didn't know at the time). Shortly thereafter, I received a response by an email notifying me that two of the four were being shipped shortly. Two weeks later I received two of the four dresses. Still waiting on the other two.

The quality is awful, the dresses are much larger than the size I ordered, and they really look nothing like what I ordered. One dress was listed as "apricot" and is actually a light beige.

I inquired as to returning the items and was told that I would pay return postage and they suggest rather than returning that I take a 15% cash refund or a 20% store credit. After reading numerous reviews about never receiving refunds, I figured I should cut my losses. I am taking the 15% credit and donating the dresses. In my opinion, this is a scam. By the time I returned four dresses at my own cost and if they ever acknowledge (which a lot of reviews claim that StyleWe says they never receive), I would be out even more money. Hopefully, the agency responsible for companies like this will take some action.

I am taking a loss, but again, better than throwing good money after bad. I will never use this company again.

Avoid at all costs!

I ordered six outfits on July 26th, excited they were cute and bolstered by a forgiving return policy if I got one or two, and they weren't what I expected.

As of August 7th, only two items have shipped. I've received one. It looks nothing like the photo and is, at best, a weaksauce dollar store rip-off in similar colors and at a size XL, would barely fit an 11-year-old.

When I asked to return the item, the customer service team said they were in CHINA and return shipping was MY PROBLEM, even though the item was not as described on their website. Ridiculous and fraudulent. I've filed a dispute with PayPal on the transaction, after multiple requests to StyleWe to cancel the remainder of my order.

Do a simple search for StyleWe reviews in Google and check out the BBB site. They have an F rating. Shipping delays, months to get what you order, surprises that this company is in China, and lackluster product - they're all common problems. I wish I'd done a web search before I hit "pay." Any of the positive reviews on this company are likely false. You may get your clothes, eventually, but they will be cheap and not worth the time and money invested.

Cheap clothing

I ordered a dress from StyleWe and received the dress with a material that felt like a nightgown or graduation gown, and it was shiny material like a satin robe. NOT what the picture online looked like. POOR quality and a POOR offer to only give me a partial refund after telling me they would not refund me for the shipping cost back to China! Very POOR customer service. Be aware of buyers remorse. And be aware that PayPal will not guarantee your refund for this poor quality product!

Don't believe the fake positive reviews

My experience was, and continues to be, a nightmare.

I ordered 4 dresses in late May. After 3 weeks I contacted them (email only) and they promised the order would be there "in a few days." Another 2 weeks later, after I returned from vacation, I finally received the first item, the others followed over the course of another 3 weeks.

Sizes were definitely not "US" sizes, but rather, Asian. Craftsmanship was very poor (I've been sewing for many years, so I know) and the material cheap.

I initially wanted to exchange 1 item, but after a long, drawn out (they take 4-5 days to respond), I wanted to return everything. They discourage returns, saying it's very costly, and reluctantly gave me a return address after several emails. They want you to keep the items and will offer a small percentage (15%, then 25% later) of cash back or a store credit (20%, then 30%).

After writing a 1-star review, they tried "buying me off" with a little higher offer, but I had to remove the review first. The latest is that they will only give me a 25% cash back on ONE of the four items. Unbelievable! Stay away from this site.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Returns are a total rip-off

I ordered two dresses from StyleWe in April. They looked far better on the models than in person or on me. When I went to return them, I was given two options, keep the items and receive 25% of your purchase price or return it back to China. I was so horrified for not reading the fine print (where was it?) and their policy. I wanted ALL of my money back. I returned the dresses to China, per their directions. It is now August, and I have heard nothing from them, despite my inquiry. Don't get ripped off like I did and buy from a reputable company, even if it costs a few dollars more.

StyleWe quality is below par

In the last month, since July to now the end of August, I have been arguing back and forth with StyeWe. I've included PayPal for the misrepresentation of the product first, the poor quality of shaping of the dress, (which is nothing like the photos shown online), and the expectation that I will mail back the dresses to China. There will be a review to see if the dresses meet their expectations, and I could look for a portion of the $191 that I paid. With the cost of shipping to China and restocking fee, I am to pay, and I might get $30 back. What a bogus deal. I've been offered several side deals, I could keep the dresses and then reorder with 30% of what I paid or some foolish suggestion to avoid having to mail to China.

Worse customer service experience and poor quality merchandise

StyleWe is a poor, cheap clothing online seller. Their prices are super high for the man made 100% polyester, toxic to the skin materials they made their clothing of. Their customer service is horrible, and do not hold to the American standards in terms of returns, shipping, and overall customer/consumer satisfaction.

China-made, quick, toxic plastic materials that are toxic to the skin people.

Save your time and money

I ordered two items. They came on time but were awful. The material was completely different, looked nothing like the photo, some parts were too big, some parts were too small. I contacted them about returning. They tried to offer me a 15% refund. I said no. They then informed me that I would have to return it at my expense to their warehouse in China (which is very expensive). They also tell you to put a value of less than $150, which if your order is more than that amount, is mail fraud. I filed a dispute through my credit card company. You can't send people trash and then expect them to pay to return it.

Awful experience

There is no express delivery! I ordered three dresses on August 7th and still waiting for one of them (today is Aug 20th), while I paid for express shipping. They have terrible customer service. If you have any issue with your purchase, it's impossible to find a representative online or making a phone call. One of my products had a different color than what they showed on their website. I email them, but they never take the responsibility. They insult me by telling me: "If you simply just don't like the color or how it looks on you, please let us know as well," or "The precise color of the items may vary depending on the specific monitor, the settings, and the lighting conditions. The items colors depicted should only be used as an approximate guide." The color that they sent me was terrible, and I just threw that dress away! They really don't know how to respect customers. I wasted my time and money.

Scam company operating out of China

This is a scam company operating out of China. The product you receive will not be the same as on the website. The sizing is off, the colors are faded or not at all the same, and the clothing beyond cheaply made. For example, the buttons were attached with paperclips. I have never seen clothes like this. If you want to return it, then you have to send to Guangzhou, China at your own expense. Other customers have warned not to waste more money sending back, as the packages disappear, are held at a holding facility and never picked up or the company gets the product back, keeps it and keeps your money. This company engages in bait and switch and scams American customers. I have filed an FTC complaint on the suggestion of other customers for federal investigation of their activities.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Terrible company

If you do not want to lose your money with this company, please do not do any business with them. I order two items from them. When the orders arrived, they were too low qualities, so I requested to refund. They advised me to go back to the website and lock into my account to get the refund authorization, and I did. Afterward, I received their response that they will send me an email within 24 hours regarding my request. As of today, I did not receive any response from them. Therefore, I went back to the website, and I tried to request the refund barcode sheets, then I saw a note from them that "my purchase is not eligible to refund/exchange." This was so clear, that they did not want to refund money to me. Therefore, they made me wait until the order exceeded 30 days. Then they sent me a notice that the purchase is not eligible to refund anymore.

They are from China, and that is how they do business. No stars at all! Terrible! Deceitful! Please do not purchase anything from them. You will lose everything with them!

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Read the fine print about returns

If you have to return an item it has to be sent to China, and you pay the postage!

The pics are nice on the website, but the clothes look and feel cheap.

They take forever to communicate with you about your order.

I decided to cancel my order because it took so long and they kept a percentage of the sale.

Think twice before ordering!

Any shipping charges for the returned item(s) are the client's responsibility, as well as all applicable customs duties, and fees, taxes.

Our return center for non-members is in China. If return shipping costs too much, we just want to confirm with you first to see if you can keep the item and take a partial refund for a local repair. StyleWe return policy is burdensome and unfair

I contacted StyleWe after ordering five dresses. I had to return three of them as they were not true to size - so small. When I paid $23 to return the three dresses to CHINA, StyleWe did NOT pick up the return package in time and the dresses were returned to me. Now I have dresses that I cannot wear and need to spend even MORE money to return them. How is this fair?

Don't! Just don't!

I purchased three items, using their size charts to decide on the size. The first looked nothing like the photo, the manufacturer was different and it didn't fit at all. The second was OK. The third had very shoddy workmanship. Forget trying to return anything. I had to send about seven photographs documenting my claims. They told me they would credit 15% and I could use that for alterations. Eventually I accepted a 25% discount and keep the garments I can't use. Then they tried to tell me the amounts I expected back weren't correct even though they came directly from my PayPal receipt. Overall a terrible, stressful experience. Never again! And I WILL be reporting to PayPal.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
